Dairyland Ice Cream Co

I was driving around at 9pm jonesing for ice cream, and not the prepackaged type. I googled and came up with this place. Drove past it twice because it is just off the highway and really easy to miss. There no parking so be prepared to park on the sidewalk. The ice cream here is fantastic. Super fresh, rich and creamy made in house. Sugar free butter pecan is outstanding. It's in a rather odd spot in Irvington near the highway, but it's a testament to how long its been in business, the neighborhood changed but the ice cream seemingly has not. Haven't been in 15 years and not much has changed including the amazing homemade ice cream! It is truly homemade!!! Debit cards accepted too! Try the strawberry shortcake, cherry pie or apple pie ice creams. They are UNREAL.
