“Amazing experience! One of the best vegan entrees I’ve had in a long time”
“The food quality and set menus they have are really solid for sushi and quite delicious. I feel like it gets a little pricy and that’s why I reviewed them at a 4 VS 5 stars as I know I can get equally as good of a handroll in the city for a substantial amount less, but overall this is a good staple in Jersey City. The udon and miso cod are also pretty tasty.”
“Wow! Had an outstanding night at the Roxy and I think it’s been my best bite in JC.
Service was incredible, friendly, and attentive. We did go at an off peak time, so we got extra special service. However, I think at any time the service would be top notch.
The cocktails were excellent. Extremely balanced, delicious and amazingly seasonal.
The food was soooo good. I had the short rib special and I highly recommend it while it’s available. Absolutely delicious and the best short rib dish I’ve had.
I can’t wait to return!”

“This place is a treat! We got a recommendation to try out Corto by a Jono Pandolfi Ceramics staff and it was worth it!!
Hands down the best Rigatoni I’ve ever had. It always hits the spot for me. We tried almost all items on their menu, but there is always new dish to try since their menu changes based on the season. The whole sea bream and pork shoulder are delightful as well.
Being so popular, you have to make a reservation in advance. Again, it’s worth it!!
Corto is byob, so you can pick up a bottle of wine at a cute wineshop around the corner.

“Have been curious why this place got such high rating so I came here for a one-person brunch on Sat. They really deserve the high rating.
1) coffee: most coffee shops just provide same level coffee as Starbucks, but this place is serious about their coffee beans and provide way better coffee than a Nespresso machine or Starbucks. Def tier 1 of the coffee I’ve tried. Besides, their latte price starts at $4.xx. I’m surprised at the lower price they are offering (vs $6.xx latte elsewhere) with such high quality taste.
2) food and service: I did not get a chance to try their “hot” food as the kitchen was closed 2 mins before I ordered. However the service made the whole experience beyond expectations: a) the waitress apologized for not letting me know the kitchen was closed 2 mins earlier. She did not have to apologize at all as I literally walked in 2 or 3 mins before I ordered - no difference would have been made even if she reminded me, but I appreciated her attitude. b) I saw they have “brioche sandwich” on the menu, knowing kitchen has closed I asked if I can just get a slice of toast. They gave me an exception and allowed me to order a brioche toast, what’s surprising was they also toasted it so it’s way more presentable and tasteful as a food itself. BTW the toast tasted great. And their price is reasonable.
3) very dog friendly: from the second I walked in with my dog, he was welcomed by the waitress. During my whole visit in the coffee shop, no one ever questioned, judged or confronted me.
It’s actually not too common in JC.
I usually would be prepared to answer questions like: “is your dog a service animal? What’s the specially was he trained for? Pls keep your animal on the floor all the time and be prepared to leave if other customers complained”.
Their customers (mostly from near neighborhoods) were also super dog friendly, most of them petted him and smiled at him.
For the 3 reasons above, I will be coming back in the future.”

“I honestly can't remember the last time I visited a restaurant and gave it a perfect 10 across the board, but this place truly deserves it. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. I needed the restroom right away, and the bartender, Orlando, kindly escorted me to it, making me feel so welcomed. Once we were seated, the food started arriving, and I was blown away. The chef here is absolutely amazing. Her dishes are not only delicious but also incredibly well-prepared. The unique flavor combinations and creativity are outstanding. It's honestly some of the best food and service I've had in a while. I left feeling like I spent my money very happily. I truly hope this hidden gem and the talented chef behind it get the recognition they deserve for their incredible work."”
“This cute little "hole in the wall" is truly a hidden gem! While in reality, it's no hole in the wall at all. You actually feel like you're in a small shop in India when dining-in with the colorful decorations, background music and overall setup of the restaurant. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely amazing! Very tasteful chaat and small dishes, each with it's own little twist. I got:
-masala chai
-mango lassi
-Chinese Frankie (get it on a paratha)
-Chili Cheese Corn Grilled Sandwich
-to top it off, get their Chocolate Pan - it was bomb!
EVERYTHING was 10/10. I loved the food so much, I get went again the next day.
Ask for Ajay or Shubham - very friendly folks who'll take great care of you while there!”
“We ordered takeout for the first time from this place, and it was fantastic! We had been wanting to try it for a while. We ordered the paneer timepass, dabeli, butter locho, pav bhaji, and cold coffee. The food was amazing—great portion sizes and a traditional taste in every item. The prices were very reasonable, too. We’ll definitely be back!”
“Excellent food and great customer service. Overall an amazing experience”
“I absolutely love Rumba Cubana! This location is perfect also. The restaurant is situated next to a park in the downtown area of Jersey City. The staff are kind and professional, great service. I’ve dined in/outside and ordered delivery once. Ordering delivery was definitely a huge disappointment. I ordered the Tropical Salad with grilled Salmon but the piece of salmon was so tiny. Dining in, they are usually generous with the proteins added. I feel like this was a very upsetting experience. Overall, it’s definitely my go-to place. The Papa Rellenas are delicious, the frozen lemonade is a must and you cannot leave without ordering some of the guava and cheese empanadas!”
“You can tell the owner puts so much care and passion into the food. The atmosphere feels intimate and cozy, like a hole in the wall does. The crab cake pad Thai was particularly tasty. Delicious food at a reasonable price that is well worth the wait and patience (since the owner is both the only waiter and only chef)!”

“I've been here a few times now, and overall, I really like it.
Apps are good. I've had the labneh and hummus. The only complaint is that the portion is a little small. the pita, in particular, is not enough for the amount of dip on the plate.
I've also had the charred cabbage, and it was not for me. Not particularly bad, I did finish it, though aside from the charred exterior, it was basically completely raw. I wasn't expecting fully cooked, soft cabbage, but a slightly lower heat would still get a good char on the outside while at least slightly softening the inside of this large wedge of cabbage. The sauce that was drizzled on top was quite spicy and good.
The corn ribs were definitely the superior small dish compared to the cabbage, although I do think the portion is too small. I could eat roughly 500 of those little things.
I don't see it on the menu anymore, but on my first trip there, I had a fried calamari and "chorizo" sandwich. There was a slaw on there that was very tasty, and the calamari itself was cooked well and was nice and crunchy. Hated the chorizo. It tasted like a cheap Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast patty. Never had a chorizo that tasted like that in my life. I picked it off and ate the sandwich without it.
Also had the pappardelle. No complaints. Delicious. Cleaned that plate in like 5 minutes. Although once again, especially for pasta, the portion was quite small.
Lastly, for my drink, I had the Nico's Song mocktail. In my opinion, it is completely undrinkable. Even though ginger is listed as the 3rd ingredient following both beet and orange juice, it was the only thing i could taste. Way too heavy on the ginger. The server definitely saw that i had barely touched the drink but didn't ask me if I liked it. I did end up just asking her if this drink was always this gingery; she mostly ignored the question, although she was kind enough to take it off the bill.
The atmosphere here is really great & the pride flags hanging like a cute little halo over the bar makes me feel good about bringing my parter here and spending money at this business. Music is a little loud but tasteful and the table arrangement/decor is really nice. Although the last time I was here, there was a table with kids all with their shoes off & their feet on the tables.
There a lot of restaurants in JC to compete with, but I still see myself coming back here every now and again.”

“I've been here so many times I've lost count. My favorite dish is the oil spill noodles. I typically also order the delicious homemade yogurt to soothe the heat of the spice.”

“Delicious Dominican food, the place is small but the attention and the food is great I have no complaints and the prices are average 🙌🏼
Delicious Dominican food, the place is small but the service and food is super good, I have no complaints and I love that the prices are affordable 🙌🏼”
“Navin is the best employee EVER! Amazing customer service, very attentive and respectful. He remember my orders. I have my family come here and the say that same. He definitely should be Employee of the Year and get a nice raise. I’ve been coming here for 3 months and not one complaint. He is fast and effective!! Keeps everything nice, clean and organized. 100/10!! I recommend it!”
“Dunkin' has really impressed me with their delicious food offerings, from freshly baked donuts to flavorful breakfast sandwiches. The staff here is always friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quick bite. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal any time of day!"”
“There was no vanilla with sprinkles (my favourite)but they worked hard to make those donuts and the atmosphere was very clean and good and my friends enjoyed the donuts but they wanted more.
Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the donuts and they wanted some more but mom said "Only one donut per kid.".”

“Great food and super friendly staff who couldn’t do more for you. Had such a lovely evening here. Highly recommend!”
Takeout Restaurants
“We have gotten take out from here several times and have loved the food. We go here for our Kerala food fix and the flavors are spot on. The food feels homemade and the spices are just right. My personal favorites are the banana leaf fish pollichathu, kerala chicken fry, chicken roast, chicken curry and fish curry with the tapioca. The owners are lovely people too!”
“I’ve been wanting to come here for the past 2 months here. Last night, finally I was able to come. I am shocked that they’ve been in business for more than a year and I just found them now?Being an avid bubble tea lover along with my kids, I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is a hidden gem in the heart of JSQ. The owner is very down to earth and a people person. You won’t step out of that place without a smile. She will make your drink according to your preference. You can make as many adjustments as you’d like and she will do it with a smile.
We ordered 2 Oreo shakes and a latte bubble tea. I ordered them in M size, but she gave me in L size? and still charged me for M. My kids loved their Oreo shakes and I very much enjoyed my latte. I can’t wait to go back and try the other bubble tea flavors and the waffles and crepes.
I pray that their business thrives and expands!”

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.”
“This was my second time here and it was just as good as the first! The place felt upscale, service was friendly and we were offered complimentary seconds of wine. Highly recommend the octopus pasta and Korean fried chicken. Very cute date night spot.
Will be back!”
“Each meal I’ve had to date at Next Door Provisions has been consistently wonderful, and the casual and chic decor there (bonus points if you’re a plant or comic nerd!) married with friendly and efficient service always bring me, my family, and friends back again and again. We’ve celebrated many birthdays, reunions, and last-minute meetups at NDP, and I have never been disappointed by the food or the service. This is likely one of Jersey City’s best-kept secrets, and can rival any Michelin-starred or trendy restaurant across the Hudson. In a way, I’m glad NDP is still pretty low-key neighborhood food purveyor, but would be more than happy to see them really blow up and get the recognition and following that the extraordinary Chef Ruby deserves. Five stars, ten snaps, and five forks from me and my crew!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I ordered takeout from Kulchay recently and had a positive experience. The woman working there was incredibly friendly and helpful while I waited. I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. I also tried the halwa naan for dessert which was decent but not something I would order again. All the food here is halal and I definitely plan to come back to try more items from their menu.”
“We drove right past it but THANK GOD we were able to turn around and get to it the food was heavenly juicy hot and suuuuper tasty the cook we spoke with was amazingly patient as he could see we wanted the entire menu but didn’t know how to order it lol the man was a saint and got us exactly what we wanted we were in such disbelief that such amazing tacos came from such a small spot but it’s clearly a top shelf establishment and will continuously recommend this place”
“My first trip to Jersey lead me to Tinos and I am so lucky to have found them! Their cute outdoor dining area was shaded. Menu has tons of options - I had the Margherita pizza, Pinot and a cannoli! All are delicious and I can't wait to return. The pizza is the best I've ever had - crispy but still foldable thin crust, flavorful sauce, and top quality mozzarella and EVOO. My waiter was kind and attentive, who informed me that Tino still comes in and does things like weeding the plants. He also said that they are terrific employers. Not many places today hit all the check marks, but Tino's hits it out of the ballpark.”
“White star is amazing! One of the best places to get a cocktail & burger, their nachos are to die for!! My partner and I are regulars to this place! A special shoutout to Ryan- he is the most friendly, patient and accommodating person. He always brings a smile to our faces and he’s always quick & thoughtful! He def ups white star’s game!!
Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free ppl!”
“Jersey & Co. is without a doubt the best gelato shop around. Absolutely delicious. The owner Peter studied gelato making in Italy and clearly has a passion and talent for creating incredible flavors. Some of our favorites are the Amarena, Cookies&Cream, Mango, and White Coffee flavors.
My fiancèe and I happened to meet Peter at an event and once we tried his gelato, we knew we had to have Jersey & Co. at our wedding. They not only knocked it out of the park with a delicious assortment of gelatos, but they also took such great care of us as people, going the extra mile every step of the way to make our wedding as special as possible. They even made a new gelato flavor just for our wedding!
We had previously done a ton of research of other shops in the NY/NJ area and everywhere we looked, either the product was subpar or the correspondence left us feeling unsure. But Jersey&co is gem of a local business that stands out for not only creating an outstanding product but also caring deeply for their customers. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who's looking for dessert catering for an event/wedding or simply wants a taste of some excellent gelato.”
“This place is so romatic and the staff and food are great. We left happy and ready to return soon.”

Fine Dining
“I've never tasted anything more disgusting in my life. My salad had so much dirt on it, I had to send it back. They offered to wash it and bring it back. 🤣 No! How about follow basic kitchen prep guidelines with like water and such. Place should be shut down for healthcode violations.”
“LOVE this spot!! The staff are the most accommodating team of people you could ask for. The food is DELISH and the vibe is exclusive and upscale. The music whether it’s live or a DJ is always on point. Hookah and Valet parking available. A STAPLE in JC!! get in while you can you WILL NOT regret it!”
“Wow….we just had my daughter’s wedding at Liberty Prime steakhouse, 160 guests. The entire evening was magical. The staff really hustled and made everyone happy. The food was fantastic. Such a cool, fun vibe. The signature cocktails were awesome. Thank you Liberty Prime for making my daughters big day a huge success!”
“I've been looking forward to trying this restaurants menu items. yesterday was only the 1st, for sure. I had a shrimp po boy, perfect, packed with shrimp, just the right sauces, really good. I took home a container of their vegan lentil soup which is better than my lentil soup. that's not a small thing. beautifully balanced flavor, really delicious. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.”
Cheap Eats
“This is one of those places that you have to try it’s not your regular bakery and definitely not on the cheap side however if you want the best you come here and if you think there over priced I get it, just go to a dinner this is not the spot to cry a doubt 18$ salad”
“New to the area and wanted a beer and burger so I Yelped this place. Drove past and wasn't sure I wanted to go in as the area around was very seedy, and the tavern had no sign out front and was really run down looking. However, I decided to go in with my boyfriend. The food was awesome and the service was great!! A must try, but bring Cash, it's a cash only place. Chili and Pastrami were great too!”
“El Ranchero is my favorite taqueria in the bayshore. The tacos are the best in the area and the mole is delicious. The food is fresh and the service is fantastic. I recommend this to anyone! A wonderful place to practice my spanish! El Ranchero es mi taquería favorita. Los tacos son los mejores de la zona y el mole es delicioso. La comida es fresca y el servicio es fantástico. ¡Yo recomiendo esto a cualquiera!”
“Cangiano's is a delightful gem of a find for all things Italian in Jersey City. We found this Deli to be an excellent source for Italian groceries and cooked meals, including sandwiches and pastas. There is an enormous selection of options, and the staff is super nice and friendly. We had the Penne Pasta in Vodka Sauce as well as a Grilled Chicken sandwich and both were excellent. We are excited to come back for more!”
“The argana grill is a solid spot if you're in the mood for casual dining with a variety of grilled options. The menu typically offers a good mix of dishes, from burgers and sandwiches to more hearty meals like steaks and seafood. The food is generally tasty and well-prepared, with portions that are satisfying. The atmosphere is laid-back, making it a good place for a casual meal with friends or family. Service can vary depending on how busy it is, but overall, it's a decent choice for a quick and flavorful meal.”
“Great little neighborhood spot… we watched their regulars be welcomed in with a genuine greeting and smile, and as first-timers, we were impressed with the owner’s friendliness and time spent getting to know us. Everything we ordered was fabulous… Savory comfort food and affordable. Will definitely be back to this charming restaurant next time we visit NJ. Outstanding! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻”
“My new favorite coffee shop! Excellent service and product! Highly recommend to all coffee lovers.”
“They have amazingly tasty food 😉 food 🥘 and specially love their buffet”

“Amazing Margaritas! Great staff and food. A MUST in Jersey07302!”
“The quality here is great, with flavors that cater to every tastebud. Each ingredient, from the fresh fruits selected to the freshly brewed coffee and tea, shows the attention to detail, which truly sets this place apart. They use real taro, mango, persimmon, watermelon..etc for the drinks, a rare find! Sugar level and other modifications can be easily made.
I highly recommend trying their seasonal specialties, which rotate regularly to showcase the freshest ingredients. And of course, the classic flavors are always a hit. Even your furry friends will love it, making this a must-visit spot in JC! Very accessible and right next to the Path
Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly located in a safe, and not crowded plaza for families to enjoy the drinks.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of ramps for wheel chair to access the store.”
“This was my second time here and it was just as good as the first! The place felt upscale, service was friendly and we were offered complimentary seconds of wine. Highly recommend the octopus pasta and Korean fried chicken. Very cute date night spot.

“Delicious gluten-free IPA! You guys have raised the bar for the gluten free beer peeps!! 🍺🍺”
“The curries are my fav! Dumplings are yum, and if you are a meat eater try Korean bbq short rib, it’s beyond! 😋”
“Solid sports bar with good wings. We ordered three traditional wing flavors: buffalo, O'Hara's special sweet and spicy, and parmesan garlic. The O'Hara special flavor was by far the favorite of the group. I would not order the artichoke dip again as it was quite watery and tasted about the same as a frozen option from the grocery store. Although they have a great beer menu I was disappointed that my two preferred beers were unavailable to order (Blue Moon and cold snap). All things considered, I'd come back for the wings and the sports bar atmosphere.”

“The omakase is good for the price. The service was friendly and attentive. The only issue is the decor and music felt like I was at a party instead of a nice omakase restaurant. This took away from the nice experience we had during our visit.”
“We ordered so many incredible signature dishes. The lamb moussaka was 5 stars! To really test them we ordered one of the best lahmanchoun’s we’ve tasted in NY! Cozy atmosphere, attentive waitstaff, Momo JC definitely exceeded our expectations!”
“I had the most phenomenal dining experience at Kings Pride, a Nigerian restaurant in Jersey City. The exceptional customer service by the owner, Veronica, truly made it stand out. Veronica went above and beyond to bring the essence of Nigerian cuisine to our table, even taking us behind the scenes to demonstrate the traditional preparation of the dishes. Her passion for sharing the culture and flavors of Nigeria was truly inspiring. The Jollof rice with stewed goat was an absolute standout, bursting with rich, aromatic flavors that left a lasting impression. The Ogbono soup was a true staple of Nigerian cuisine and paired perfectly with a side of fufu. The classic homemade Zobo drink was a refreshing and delightful complement to the meal. Veronica's warm hospitality and her dedication to showcasing the authenticity and rich cultural heritage of Nigerian cuisine made our experience truly memorable. Kings Pride is more than just a restaurant; it's a place that brings people together through the love for great food and the celebration of Nigerian traditions. I highly recommend Kings Pride as a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and enriching culinary experience. Veronica's commitment to preserving and sharing the intricacies of Nigerian cuisine deserves the utmost support to keep this remarkable restaurant thriving.”
“this place is a must go to. the food is amazing as well as the service and drinks. Definitely on my top 10”
“Everything was fantastic. Very tasty and authentic. The tiny desserts were an excellent addition to the dinner. The person who came quickly set up the chafing dishes and plastic dinnerware. Couldn't ask for more.”
“Stopped in for a quick bite and was absolutely pleased with the sushi! The presentation was great and delicious. I tried the 5th Ave roll, Monroe and dragon all of which were great.”
“WISP Rol delicious & so well put together! The guys on the truck are so friendly and accommodating & treat everyone with kindness even with long wait times. Order ahead & pick up when it says it’s ready and you will not be disappointed! 10/10 recommend”
“Wonderful little resturaunt. The staff are very welcoming, Steven was super helpful & accommodating. The food was excellent, highly reccomment the various breads but everything is good.”
“Just ate there for dinner. Was packed but they were so accommodating for us four, and I was dying for my favorites. I have been going there since 1984 and sorry to say, 90% of the time I get the same thing! And still always delish. The service is great, servers are great, I have bought many people there and no one has ever complained, always loved the food! And I will continue to be a customer for as long as they will be there!”
“On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!”
“I just found out about Cloud Wings and wanted to check them out. I got chicken & waffles, mild buffalo boneless wings, Cajun fries, and a biscuit.
The wings and chicken tenders are by far the best wings and tenders I’ve ever had and I’m definitely not a novice when it comes to eating good chicken.
The Cajun fries were perfectly seasoned and the waffles and biscuits were awesome too.
10/10 would recommend to anybody and will be going back soon to try more of their menu”
“Fox & Crow is the premiere Listening Venue in Jersey City. The music room is small, like a local jazz club from back in the day (think Coltrane or Monk at the 5 Spot), but that gives it a focused vibe and electric intimacy that you can't get anywhere else in JC at this time.”
“Great food, great atmosphere and great service.. I’m coming back and bringing friends and family! I definitely recommend it!”
“Have enjoyed two fantastic meals at Ita. A perfect atmosphere for any intimate or casual gathering. The food is so fresh and the people are warm and welcoming. I will be back!!”
“Food is excellent, staff is very attentive and friendly - atmosphere is very romantic. I highly recommend.”
“Ed & Mary’s is a great hang out spot with semi neighborhood dive bar vibes and AMAZING food. I can’t get enough of those sandwiches 🤤The outdoor seating is also a really nice touch and I always appreciate a spot with a dart board!”
“The food drinks and views are excellent… can’t wait to go back and bring friends!!”
“This is one of the best places to have south Indian food and the restaurant is very authentic. The ambiance is very decent but the food is so good. Especially their mann soru was out of the world”
“Wonderful place with tasty food and best service. Will try again.”
“I've been here a few times already. The vibe of the place is great, and the service is good. However the food just never hits the mark. Fries are always burnt and soggy at the same time, probably being cooked at the wrong temperature. The burgers always fall apart half way through the meal, with the buns very over-sauced to the point of being sloppy, and the patties under salted.
It really has the potential to be an awesome neighborhood spot that I go to more often, just hope they can improve the food a bit!”
“I highly recommend their famous pork spicy appetizer. It was our 4th times in this place. I would say their meat is high quality because you can tell from the flavor itself. This is our couples favorite Sichuan place. Tonight, we tried SeaBass Mala it was delicious but too spicy but we’ve finish it 😄😛😋”
“White star is amazing!
“Absolutely great venue! We hosted our team's end of year party here. The food was absolutely amazing; it was all folks could talk about! Highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to hangout for dinner and some drinks!
The team here was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure the event went off without a hitch!”
“Been coming by this place since I’ve been of age. It’s a personal family favorite: I recommend picking up a couple of buckets (large drinks ) here before heading out anywhere. Also a cute place to just lay low and have a delicious meal and cocktail.”
“It's the first time I was there, because it was the restaurant with the best rating, in the area, I really recommend it, in 23 years in this country, I ate the best green noodles with steak, 😋 💯
And a parihuela, seafood soup, its delicious chicha morada, its portions are well served, I loved it”
“Everything. Love the staff, the food, and the warm and welcoming feeling this place has.”
“Delicious pho and ample garnish with great Cherokee service. I loved how the servers are humorous and personable as well. 10/10 would recommend. We were in jersey city for the day and were pleasantly surprised by this homey pho joint (GET THE HOUSE SPECIAL PHO! Thank me later)”
“The service was amazing plus the Mexican People where amazing they always asking if w writhing was okay ..”
“My girlfriends purse got robbed. Dangerous place. Don't go there. Band was awesome though”
“Friday night sushi date! Itto is always packed and, imo, the best sushi in JC (don’t coke at me domo domo people!).
We ordered three rolls and were shocked at the size. These puppies are THICCC and full of flavor. Of the sushi around JC Itto is definitely my favorite for freshness.
This place is BYOB, bring your booze with you.”
“The Hot & Sour Veg Soup is a delightful start to the meal. Just the right amount of spice and tang. A bowl full of warmth!”
“Bases on the taste it's not recommended otherwise the location, Customer service and ambiance is good!!!”
“I love these juices! Start off strong with the three day and have consistently ordered Monday one days. Not only do I feel awesome drinking them I find myself craving them later in the week. I’ve also had ginger bombs to help recover from being sick. Love them all. Can’t wait to try the new flavor Combos!”
“Performing at Maritime Parc was an absolute highlight for us! The venue offers a sleek, modern aesthetic with stunning panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and harbor—an unforgettable backdrop for any celebration. The layout is perfect for live music, with plenty of space for dancing and an energetic crowd. The team at Maritime Parc was fantastic to work with, making sure everything ran smoothly so we could keep the party going strong all night long.”
“Food was so delicious today we ordered catering and we really loved the food of Amiya Thanks to all the chef and staff members!! Keep it up guys!!”
“Everything on the menu is delish! Great presentation, amazing desserts, impeccable service.”
“great food and vibe. BUT they are cheap with condiments. charges 2 bucks for extra syrup for the chicken and waffles”
“Beautiful decor, and atmosphere, the people are friendly and a pleasure to speak to.”
“Food is pretty good large portions, cozy with a lot of activity going on, reminded me of cheers how friendly it felt. Monday jazz was so good came back for karaoke Tuesday. Red Sangria was my favorite. I will keep coming back. I had a lot of fun. I’m checking their events now. Owner Tommy told me “ I’m family now””
“A great choice for getting some high quality Indian food in the area, especially if you'd prefer to not deal with the hustle and bustle of Little India in Journal Square.
I highly recommend ordering anything from the tandoor - the tandoori chicken was perfect! And the portions are massive. I did think many of the appetizers and main dishes were quite overpriced, however.
That said, I'd definitely come back and try the rest of the menu!”
“Very professional place always. I complained about my order being a bit too salty to my liking and they apologized and gave me a whole new meal without any complications. Great customer service and the food tastes really good. First time my food came out salty and never had that issue before. They have a clean restaurant & the lady up front is very pleasant and friendly.”

““Delicious food and great service, compliments to the chef!” 👨🍳 🙌🏽👊🔥”
“Great ambiance, cozy, great food, awesome cocktails, this place is a hidden gem in Jersey City. Loved the 100 yr version of the Old Fashion, loved the octopus appetizer and above all the service. Will definitely be back soon.”
“Great Atmosphere and Menu, But Room for Improvement
I recently discovered The Table and was really impressed by the overall experience. The atmosphere is definitely five stars—beautifully designed and very welcoming. The menu is also impeccable, with a great variety of options at reasonable prices.
I tried the salmon eggs Benedict, which was good, but not quite spectacular. On the other hand, the truffle mac & cheese was amazing—definitely the highlight of the meal. My girlfriend had the apple pie French toast, which was a bit on the sweet side for our taste, but still enjoyable. We both agreed that we’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu, as there are so many tempting options.
The reason for the four stars instead of five comes down to the service. When we were seated, our server admitted that there were better tables available but didn’t seat us there, even though the booth next to us was empty. Shortly after, two other people came in and were seated at that very booth. It was a bit frustrating, especially after she mentioned we could have had a better seat, but didn’t do anything about it.
That being said, I’ll still be coming back because the atmosphere, menu, and prices are really solid. Plus, the location is super convenient for me, and the outdoor seating is a great option. I haven’t checked out their bar yet, but that’s definitely on my list for next time.
Overall, it’s a great spot with lots of potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they continue to improve. I’ll be following up soon!

“I love this company because it's convenience of being close in NJ, the company sells to individuals customers most only sell to business. I bought Saba mackerel and tobikko it was better and fresh or as good as in any high end Sushi restaurant. I can't wait to order again and the minimum to order is $40 and close enough to pickup in Jersey City. ty Jorge Alonso.”
“Forget going to Bologna for Bolognese....just head to Satis. Fresh pasta with a beef ragu...heaven. Great drinks and while we're at it...the patas bravas were better than some I had in Spain last year too!”
“Great place to eat - a lot in their menu. Very cozy atmosphere, you can dine in or outside the resto. They have a lot of adult beverages as well!!!”
“First time & definitely not our last time. We went to see Efrat & Brian. Amazing music, as well as the company. The food was good too!”
“superb place to meet and eat. Ambience in restaurant is amazing and the bar area very friendly . The food is amazing.”
“Food was hot, fresh and delicious! We had the Family Platter, Dungeoness Crab Combo, and the Talipa Basket. The house special sauce was very flavorful. I went to pick up my order and the lady was very kind enough to help bring it to my car. Great customer service and will definitely order again. You guys made mom's birthday dinner a hit!”

“I always thought of this place primarily in terms of takeout but I had my daughter's first birthday there a couple of weeks ago and would be remiss not to share what a wonderful experience it was on all fronts. First of all, as other reviewers have noted the food is incredible. Every single person in our party raved about their meals--mostly pizza orders, but I had a hot sub and I could not devour it fast enough, it was so delicious. Quality ingredients and really authentic preparation. Beyond the great food though I want to highlight what a lovely experience we had at the establishment. The restaurant was so accommodating to our needs--they let us bring in our own decorations and cake, even let me come in early to set up, and it really made the day feel special and personal. Unlike most other places, they also let us relax and enjoy ourselves. We lingered for a while and at no point did they make us feel like we needed to wrap it up and leave. As the mother of the birthday girl it really meant a lot to me, and I don't think I would have gotten that experience anywhere else. Finally, I'd like to compliment the staff who took such good care of us--they were professional and friendly and continuously offered to help with whatever we needed. We were a party of 21 including four little kids so I'm sure at points we were a lot to take! But all we received from the staff were pleasantries and smiles. I'd recommend to anyone not just making this your go-to pizza place for takeout, but thinking of them for your next gathering as well. Or a meal out, it's not a frilly sceney place but it's got a cozy, homey feel that's perfect for intimate conversation and catching up. Thank you Rustique for making my daughter's birthday so special.”
“We reserved the private room on the lower level for a family reunion for 27 people. The restaurant was centrally located for our families in Westchester, Long Island, and Philadelphia. The kitchen and staff were amazingly friendly and the food outstanding. The price-fixed Saturday brunch menu was tailored to our Gluten-free, Vegan and vegetarian’s needs. The service staff were warm and friendly and delivered our food quickly and accurately. The bar (shout-out to Jr.) served excellent cocktails at a reasonable price. Alexa S., the manager, was very helpful answering all our questions organizing the day and was very attentive during our gathering. We all enjoyed the day and highly recommend Amelia's Bistro and will definitely return for other family events.”
“Great tasting Bagels. Its “Santa Fe" bagel is a meal on its own to get! Very friendly staff. Bri & person making the bread show experienced hospitality workers, taking a lot of pride and professionalism at this shop. Seating & atmosphere is convenient & comfortable, near the Newport mall.”
“I don't say this about many places, but the fried chicken here is really good. Nice crispy exterior with a juicy interior. There are also so many menu options to choose from. Not to mention the buy 1 get one deal you can get if you order online. The customer service is also excellent. I can here so often we're on a first name basis.”

“It won't be fair if I don't give them 5 in all aspects.
Despite of many delicious food excellent customer service, maintaining ambience tidy and bla bla bla
Staff are very smiling despite of hard work.
Norah suggested and served a delicious Tomato rice and sweet Lassi!
Kudos boys & girls keep working and rocking at the same time.
I'm sure their management taking good care of them those welcoming to serve faces says it all!!
Don't miss Breakfast Buffets on Saturdays”
“I stopped coming to this restaurant years ago because of an odd smell, but when a friend wanted to go, I decided to give it another shot—and I’m so glad I did! The place has completely transformed. The service was excellent, and our server, Yousry, was incredibly attentive. The drinks were spot on, and the food was fresh and delicious. I was truly impressed and will definitely be back.
As someone who grew up in Jersey City, I’ve seen this place change a lot, and it’s for the better. A special shoutout to the manager, Berta, who was so friendly and made sure I got my drinks quickly when there was a bit of a wait at the bar. Great experience all around!”
“The only restaurant we dine at in India Square! Literally here at least twice per month, and always our first choice when we want to stay in and order online. The food always comes out on time and delicious. We always get the special chicken biryani and chicken tandoori and they always come out flavourful and juicy. We’ve had their naans before too and they were also exceptional. I have noticed recently though that the food sometimes doesn’t come out hot.
My husband and I are introverts and we really appreciate the chill and relaxed service we receive. Not too pushy or hover-y, just comfortable. I also really love the vibe here! I absolutely LOVE that they show Bollywood on their TV! I don’t understand a thing, but it’s such a nice touch it makes the restaurant feel homey and local. A LOT of locals dine here too and the restaurant is never empty, if not full, so I think that speaks a lot about their food.
Overall, we love Southern Spice! Absolutely have been recommending to our friends, and now to all of Google!”
