Chef Brian Kim, the owner of Ondo, also created the Michelin-starred Oiji Mi in NYC—so it’s no surprise that this spot is just as impressive. Ondo offers a tasting menu that’s a more affordable yet equally delicious alternative to Oiji Mi. It’s a fantastic way to experience elevated Korean cuisine without the Michelin price tag.

Chef Brian also owns other restaurants, including Domo Domo, and Ondo is a wonderful addition to his portfolio. The restaurant is co-owned with his wife, who leads the pastry program, adding a sweet finishing touch to an already amazing meal. Definitely worth a visit!”

The audience was made up of our large group of family and friends (roughly 50 Cubans :-) and they are a discerning audience when it comes to Cuban food). I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. I also tried the halwa naan for dessert which was decent but not something I would order again. “I'm not one to write reviews or eat sweets for that matter, but i will have to say, the milkshakes here are bar none.
We stopped by for dessert after catching dinner in the area and left with milkshakes, a box of their gourmet chocolates and smiles. My daughter raved about her s'more shake the entire ride home. I have to mention that the staff are incredibly warm and inviting.
Definitely worth the spike in my A1C!

“I'm vegetarian but my partner isn't, so when a very nice employee saw that the majority of my mobile order was vegetarian friendly except for one thing she kindly called us over to make sure that we knew which ones were safe for me and which ones weren't. Five stars for the above and beyond service, wish we got her name, it was around 8pm on August 23rd”
