Is this the best Shanghainese food in the state? No, but the flavors are close to what I'm craving for. Two of my staples are the Shanghainese ham and pork belly soup and the Shanghainese stir fried noodles.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It's definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back. They're beef and broccoli and wings are my favorite.

We ordered two lunch specials (braised pork belly and beef with broccoli) along with the Chongqing beef noodle soup and the Sichuan boiled fish and tofu. The price was great for the amount of food we got, the fish came in two quart sized plastic containers and the beef in the noodles was so tender. They did not skimp on the beef at all. Overall the fish and the noodle dish had a perfect amount of numbing spice. The lunch specials at $10 came with rice and hot and sour soup and was a good portion as well!

No idea why there are so many negative reviews. Food is great, affordable, fast. Soup dumplings are great, noodles & mapo tofu are great. 20% tip applied to bills is not a ridiculous ask, if you don't already tip this amount as a baseline when you go out to eat, you shouldn't go out to eat. Great place.

This restaurant charged 20% tips to your bill mandatorily which is making me and my friend very uncomfortable. And honestly they didn’t provide much service except serving you a cup of water and bringing the dishes to your table. I’d like to give restaurant more support in these difficult days but definitely not to encourage this way.

nobody sat us down for 5 min. After ordering I was told 20% gratuity is mandatory due to Covid, exercise me? Server was reluctant to give my kids untenils too. And on top of that, taste of food is really bad. I ordered a chicken and I literally only had one bite cos it's unbearable. I only came here because taste of northern china is closed today due to renovation, would never make the same mistake again

If I could give zero stars I would! Ordered food on their website and got called that I'm too far. I'm on Summit Ave right off Academy! Literally about 1.3 miles away and their limit is one mile! Nothing of the sort is stated on their website!! If that were the case then my order shouldn't of gone through at checkout!! They charged my card and now the refund won't be for days! Called back and spoke with the manager and she was horrible to say the least! Terrible way to run a business!! They can take their food and shove it where the sun don't shine!!!

简直醉了！两个热菜一个饭都没给。打电话说给我送过来， 等了半天都没人来，打电话去问，还让我继续等 醉了 不知道要等到哪年。只好自己过去取，这大风天，巨冷，还下着雨，风雨交加，简直是倒霉了。纯属浪费我时间
