I am so happy to dine in at this local restaurant multiple times, it’s almost my 食堂, have nearly tried every dish on the menu, and none of them let me down. Among the menu, the Peking Duck and 清炒丝瓜 (Stir-fried Loofah) stand out as my absolute favorites.
In a neighborhood that's essentially 80% Asian at this point, Jersey City has really disappointing Asian restaurants (Chinese in particular but it's not like there's good Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.). Not sure if Jiang Nan is a franchise that's a part of the broader chain but this one is solid. Jiangnan's location in NJC has to be my favorite restaurant in Jersey City. It is equally as good as the location in Manhattan in terms of food, service, and atmosphere, though one thing to note is that they do not have an alcohol menu.I come back here all the time because everything is delicious – you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.
