Great experience. The sushi was fresh and inventive. But be warned. You only have 60 min to dine, even if you order the bougie experience. We barely had enough time to finish our meal and no time to order any additional pieces.

Sushi by bou is easily my favorite dining experience in NY and NJ. The food quality is stellar, the staff is always so friendly and helpful, the music is great, and the restaurant itself is aesthetically calm and vibey. Great spot for a group of friends, date night, or even a solo treat yourself night. ?

First visit there and certainly won’t be our last! Vince could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. Stopped in for a sushi dinner and ended up with ramen and the best company (Vince)!

Very intimate cozy spot to eat some sushi prepared right in front of you. Food was delicious, service was good and ambience was perfectly fit for a date night. I would

Food was immaculate. Service was on point, everyone made sure you were taken care of throughout the meal. It's a small space so my friend and I sometimes thought we were too loud. You don't need much more than an hour for all 12 courses but we did feel 1.5 hours would have been ideal as we needed to take breaks towards the end. Definitely recommend you get a reservation the next time one opens up!

Host and staff were very friendly. Omakase was very delicious. While I agree with some reviewers saying they may be using too many sauces and/or blow torching a lot of pieces (and they would be delicious without being torched), it was still tasty.

The service was very attentive, our sushi chef Iven was very friendly and attentive to our questions. Our only gripe was that the music was a tad loud so it was hard to hear him. Felt a little out of place for such an intimate eating experience. Other than that, we had a great time!

I guess it was strange to try to find the place as you have to walk through another restaurant to find it. The drinks were amazing. The fact she was fresh but needs a little more imagination. Overall a good experience for the price.

Everything was great - the food was amazing, the service was attentive. I like how they had what we were going to be served written so we knew what to expect. The ONLY thing that I did not like was it felt very rushed. I know it says its a timed event - 60 minutes but there was hardly any time in between each piece. They could have spaced it out better to be an hour and a half. I felt like I had no time to really talk with the people I came with because of this. I have been to the Sushi by Bou in Manhattan and did not feel rushed there at all.

My husband and I are huge fans of sushi by bou we always have an amazing omakase experience with the best drinks. The fish is fresh and delicious, they get their fish from the same place the michelin star restaurants do. Both chefs were fantastic and I really liked the variety with the bougie experience. I’m blanking on the hosts name which is annoying me bc he was so personable and friendly, made the night that much better! And lastly the bartender Mike was the man! My husband loves going out to try new drinks and Mike made all these different tequila specials throughout the night that were fantastic.Highly recommend for a great date night or girls night, just have something planned after because it’s only an hour experience.

its not bad, but the omakase has some strong sauces and was scorched by blowtorch (for what seems like majority of the dishes) . Im a big fan of sushi and omakase and things like essentially lightly cooked fish is not what I was expecting. I think the quality of the fish itself is not that high which is why its covered up via searing all of it and or using some powerful flavors that mask the fish (the few ones where they let the fish come through, didnt taste very fresh) , interestingly enough seemingly no soy sauce in those flavors they use. Music was very loud for a place so small so couldn't hear the chef explain what we were being served.Though I think if you are relatively new to sushi and omakase in general, you will enjoy your time. If you are all about the fish and its pure flavor and quality, then maybe not so much

Amazing. what an experience. 12 course left me feeling stuffed. Definitely a small hidden joint. Intimate setting with fun dim lights and small cocktail bar (not great options though) So yummy!!!

I had Chef Ray and he did such a fantastic job leading us through the menu. Mike was our MD and was so welcoming, we really enjoyed the environment he created. Andy whipped up some bomb cocktails and kept the sake flowing. Love this team & the food!

Went to Sushi by Bou for the first time on my birthday. I will never be able to eat sushi the same way again. My partner and I had chef Freddy prepare our food and he was so friendly and chill. The food itself was so amazing, I thought I was transported to food wars (iykyk). I will never be able to eat local sushi again. My tastebuds have met the Lord and his name is Chef Freddy.

Loved our experience here! I took my husband here for his birthday dinner and it was phenomenal. This is the 2rd Sushi by Bou I've visited, and my favorite yet. Great service, delicious food, awesome energy. Will absolutely be back!
