ROACHES + OVER RATED. 2nd time at Ashford. Food + Ambience is cool. First time food didn’t woo me on a football Sunday. This time for a loved ones birthday Brunch I had to leave midway do to a baby cockroach crawling/running past my plate TWICE in the upstairs dining area. Where there are babies, there are parents. No employee’s were alarmed or shocked which means it’s not their first time hearing this. I understand this is a city, however living rodents/isects near my food in broad daylight is crazy. Who knows what the kitchen is like. i have an eating disorder & this absolutely had me repulsed and frightened. It will now take me a few days to recover my anxiety along with putting nutrients into my body. Wish I took a photograph, I screamed and left SO FAST!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable night-out with your friends, date or partner, this is a vibey place with electric music, dim-lit ambiance, and hip interiors. Grab some real fancy cocktails and dance the night away to some absolutely fun songs! I love their food as well!They have a beautiful rooftop garden which is open for summers. The oasis with vines and flowers is a pretty sight amidst the urban jungle. Couldn’t get enough of my experience and can’t wait to head there again this summer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The food was just not very good. My steak was overcooked and chewy, the sauce on it was so bland I couldn’t even taste it and the bake potato was so hard. Waste of money! The drinks were good and I liked the music. Overall it wasnt a good experience :/

The Ashford is definitely a one of a kind property. It reminds me of a mix of a garden and Alice and WonderLand. It's 3 or 4 floors and each floor has its own vibe. I'd go back because of the vibe and decor. I'll try the other food options on the menu. Mt drinks were up good.

I took my children yesterday and they greeted us and sat us in a timely manor . It did take a while for our server to come but once she did she was pretty decent . The food was okay I think they were just so busy it reflected in the food. My drinks were good at first by towards the end the bartender got lazy or they switched the bartender . Over all I would go back again plus their security guard was cute! Lol .

The whole place is not given. I went there with my sister last night at 11 pm. They were not serving any of the cocktails at the bar. They had only magaritas, which by the way tasted nothing like magaritas. We ended up ordering some calamari. It was full of batter and extremely greasy. Let’s talk about the dj on Friday the 15th. He just didn’t know what he was doing. Wouldn’t recommend, I will not be coming back.

The Ashford is a fun bar that serves food and has a chill vibe. It’s in the heart of Jersey City. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced they are. I loved the red sangria. Glasses are tiny and full of ice but tasty nonetheless. I did enjoy my shrimp tacos. The Dj they had played a great set, DJ Avera ?Had fun, would go back.

First time visit everything 10/10The vibe on the walk in is super welcoming, we came on a Thursday evening 9pm reservation, the place wasn’t too packed so we had options for seating so we chose the mid upper section (2nd level) Our waitress Janesa was so sweet, super attentive and very helpful in picking our meal with her honesty. She even showed us the sections available for weekends on the 3rd level!!FOODFirecracker shrimp - flavorful sweet chilli taste batter perfect! 10/10Beef Skewers - a little chewy but super flavorful. The sauce for the skewers was sooooooo good might have added an extra point making it 8/10Mac & Cheese Balls - taste like a grilled cheese 6/10Sesame Chicken & Rice 7.5/10Black Pepper Beef Stir Fry 9/10 SOOO GOOD but the beef again a little chewyDRINKSTHE Calabaza - 7/10 not too strong, very tastyLemon Drop is always gonna do the job especially when you add Patron tequilla?.Patron shots $12Overall I would definitely recommend.
