“In a town with a thousand Peruvian restaurants.. la casa de ceviche is one to check out! Went there late for dinner on a Sunday. Ordered shrimp chaufa and chicken chaufa and both were very delicious. For $19-22 a plate, the serving size did not disappoint. The waitress did not understand English but the menu has both Spanish and English.10/10 would recommend trying.Que rico, gracias!“
“First time trying Peruvian food and it didnt fail me ❤️We ordered , lomo saltado , jalea and cevichewhen the food arrived ,our expectations continue to be exceeded.Every bit of our meal was scrumptiously satisfyingThe lomo saltado was cooked perfectly and the flavor tantalizes my tastebuds .Jalea contained abundant seafood that was almost too good to stop eating whileCeviche was also in generous portion , there was a perfect balance of fish and other fresh ingredients and spice ..i love mine extra picanteOver all the food and service was superb !!!Will definitely come back !“
“I took my family here for the first time and we enjoyed every aspect of this place, the service and the food was definitely top quality and for a super fair price. The atmosphere is more of a comfy mom and pop style restaurant which I prefer to be honest and we will be recommending this place to anyone who wants to try amazing peruvian food!Kid-friendliness: My kids are a handful and the staff was always patient, kind, and caring of their needs.“
“Pleasant atmosphere, home-made restaurant but very rich preparation of the meals. In the drinks (chicha and barley) it could improve, since it feels like they are "from a sachet", but I understand that it is because in the US there is no PURPLE CORN from Peru with which the Delicious Chicha Morada is prepared (Original from Peru ).Everything else EXCELLENT, very good seasoning“
“I’ve been here a couple of times and each time have been highly satisfied! The staff is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing, I have yet to try something I did not love! The portions are great as well. I really enjoyed the ambiance and karaoke!Would highly recommend ?“
“Went here a few days ago with my mom and we loved it! The place was clean, our server was so kind and sweet, and the portions were huge! You definitely get your money’s worth here. I ordered the pechuga la plancha and it was delicious. I definitely recommend going here if you haven’t already! :)“
“The food is really good. The girls are kind and attentive, just too many for a small place. For me personally, I might never eat in there, just for take out. The problem is that the place is really small and so there is not enough space to attend the customer and for the employers to move with liberty. They should look into keep the place cleaner and fog free. Their display with the desserts is full of water on the glass because it is too hot in the place.Since, they do have a really good flow of customers, I think that the owners should see into make the place more efficient for comfort. It will be a great investment since they do have a really good flow of customers. They have an air-conditioning unit on entrance door, when you come into the store, dripping water outside, from almost all its sides to the front mat, you have to try to avoid to get it on you. It makes seem the place not well kept. Sad because they could make the place better not only for the customers but also for their workers. The place is there for years but they haven't done any improvements to it.How might be behind the glass that gives to the kitchen? ?“
“The staff is nice, a very authentic place. I ordered a Chaufa de mariscos but I noticed the seafood they used was pretty small kind of like they used frozen seafood. But of course it was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and it's a small family owned place so not many come and sit down to eat. My father ordered pescado a lo macho and it looked absolutely delicious! A giant fish fillet with seafood and sauce, I was jealous I didn't order that dish. Perhaps I will next time“
“The food was acceptable, not great, not bad...just acceptable. First time I entered a Peruvian Restaurant abroad and they only played music in English, it lowered the ambiance a lot. They charge you the mandatory tip and on top of that they ask you if you want to tip more. I clarify the tip because in some restaurants when there are more than 5 or 6 people they do that, apparently they abuse it.“
“Not that all Peruvian restaurants have the best food, although we all know that possibly the best and most culinary food in the world is Peruvian. I love Peruvian food. I won't say much about the atmosphere because I feel like I'm in a strange place since the people who frequent the restaurant don't have a very friendly face. But each one in their business.“
“Delicious food. I was so excited when I saw they opened and wasn’t disappointed. Their Peruvian dishes have that genuine Japanese flavor profile. And all the seafoods dishes are great. Service was great and the place has a fun atmosphere. Family friendly.“
“There are many Peruvian restaurants but Julia’s Cafe is one of my newest favorite Peruvian food in town. The food is definitely authentically made by a Peruvian cook that understands the passion of culinary through Peruvian cuisine. Even down to sauces and spices you can taste some authenticity. We often get catering when we have a get-together or a birthday and they often times accept despite not having delivery drivers sometimes. I’m grateful for the owner and his service and for food. Everyone should give them a try and have a taste for themselves. ??“
