Thought the rice was a bit salty for my taste but each dish came out super aesthetic. As others have reviewed prior, the ceviche was a highlight and would definitely return for it. I would say that the service of the staff was all top notch and made our dinner really pleasant; just make sure to refill waters as I didn't get a refill until end of dining session upon request. “We accidentally ate everything before taking photos. We thought the photos on DoorDash were fake but they looked that way because they were just that perfect in person. We could not fathom how they could have so much variety and in the menu but everything we've tried was the best versions of that meal that we've had. The cauliflower wings were crispy with a meat-like texture and perfectly flavored. The veggie lo mein was perfectly seasoned and full of vegetables. The steak sandwich was packed withnflavor and fresh herbs. Lastly, passion fruit lemonade was super tart and fresh. With a clean, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home right away, i already thought this was 100% perfect and the best place i've been to in my 29 years in NJ...then they said it was dog friendly. Somehow they've succeeded at 110% perfection.“

“Really cool, hip spot in Caldwell for good Peruvian food. Our server knew exactly what to recommend as well when we asked about the specials, entrees, and appetizers. We had ceviche as a appetizer as well as some Maduros and they were quite tasty. I really enjoyed my main entree which was a Mofongo saltado which adds a nice Dominican fusion/flair to it. For dessert I went with the flan and espresso and I feel like you can't go wrong with that choice. My friends had the tres leches and they mentioned it was super tasty too. Not too many seats in the restaurant so make sure to call ahead and make a reservation.“
“There are many Peruvian restaurants but Julia’s Cafe is one of my newest favorite Peruvian food in town. The food is definitely authentically made by a Peruvian cook that understands the passion of culinary through Peruvian cuisine. Even down to sauces and spices you can taste some authenticity. We often get catering when we have a get-together or a birthday and they often times accept despite not having delivery drivers sometimes. I’m grateful for the owner and his service and for food.
