“My boyfriend and I hit this place up this past Sunday. We moved into Belmar in October so we've been waiting for the weather to break to check this place out properly and it did not disappoint! Live band, energizing atmosphere, beautiful melting pot of patrons, and amazing food! We devoured the mahi fish tacos and tuna fried rice. We can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. “Wonderful meal at Half Moon Point-the food was delicious and served very promptly. The servers were terrific, considering it was a busy Saturday night! As others have said, parking is tricky, and the noise level is well beyond my comfort zone. I would recommend though, and will try it at a potentially quieter time.“

“I went into Rockerfellas and I loved it. Rico and Renee are some of the nicest people you ever want to meet and have a good time with. The food is absolutely excellent. Fun for the whole family , they catered delicious meals for my family and I ,we loved it. My kids love Rico we always have a very nice time and the customers always leave satisfied .“

“I love the food. Everything I've had has been awesome.. there Calamari is awesome.. and if you like loaded fries try them here. You will be okay. Drinks are great and they have a good selection of liquors. “I came on a Thursday afternoon after a long Wednesday night and let me tell you for those of you that don’t know these can be some of your toughest ratings based off physical and mental prowess. The food was stellar and the service second to none. I was just speaking with my party about what kind of burger we wanted and it came out split on the plate for us. Watching the bartender behind the bar absolutely command the grill was an experience in itself. I would suggest stopping in for 4 hours and leaving fulfilled.“

“Decent dive/sports bar. Cool atmosphere with all the signs. The bartender was very nice and attentive. The food however was mediocre. Got burgers, wings, etc. just ok. They have homemade chips here which is a nice touch however they werent cooked all the way through. If i want to eat this place wouldnt be my first choice but for drinks its not bad“

“Took a daytrip to Belmar and decided to check out Anchor Tavern. The bartender Lindsey was friendly and accommodating. She recommended the wings which were cooked perfectly with their house bbq. 10/10! Manager Emerald made me feel welcomed and was very pleasant to talk to. Great service, great atmosphere. I imagine the Anchor is the place to be in the summer time. Check it out!“

“First time here. This is a great neighbor hood bar restaurant. Great atmosphere, huge wrap around bar. Booths and tables surround it. Came on a Saturday and they have nice live music while we ate. Burgers were decent, albeit a wee bit over priced. But that's the works these days.“

“Nice size restaurant with a huge bar. Service was good and food was tasty. My only disappointment was warm fries. Hot fries are a must for me and most of the restaurants I've been to are the same. Guess I should get used to it or order a different side. I had a roast beef panninic with carmalized onions,, mushrooms, cheese and horseradish. Delicious! My daughter had a fried chicken taco bowl salad which she enjoyed but couldn't finish it. Good size salad. My son in law had the cheesesteak sub and he couldn't finish it either. Lol. Definitely recommend this restaurant!“

When I came here years ago, the service was slow and the food was OK, but this time the service was excellent and friendly, and the food was really good! I don't know if something changed in the last 5-6 years, but keep up the good work!“

“Had my husband's surprise 30th birthday here (we've been several times before - it's one of our favorite spots!) and they were amazing from start to finish. Super easy to book, flexible with the menu, and our serve Kelly was on top of it the whole time. She made everything super easy and was so attentive to our decently sized group. Food was brought out promptly and everyone raved about how good it was. Will continue to come here for dinner and will definitely be on the top of our list for parties in the future!“

“Delicious food at a prime location near the beach - would highly recommend. I visited in the off season and their outdoor patio was closed but it looked like a beautiful place to hang out outdoors. The service was good but the food was even better. Their french onion soup is fantastic. We also had the chicken nachos, wings and pizza and all were delicious.Parking: It can be difficult to find parking in the summer, there is no dedicated parking for the restaurant but I imagine a lot of people just walk or bike to the location.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly place, they bring out activity sheets and crayons for kids. It’s a casual setting.“

“First time here. Cozy inside. Lots of character. Attentive staff and excellent service. Big pour for my glass of wine. I had the manhattan clam chowder. Lots of the good stuff-clams, potatoes and onions in a nice tomato clam broth. I also had the lobster Mac and cheese sliders. Two sliders, side of slaw and fries. Very tasty. My partner had a patty melt. Excellent beef, sautéed onions and perfect rye bread. We'll definitely be back this summer!“

“I went her for dinner on a Saturday night with my teen after a lacrosse event at Capelli Sports Complex. We were seated immediately at 6:30. Service was excellent. There were a few generally popular beers on tap - I had the Sam Adam's Winter Lager. We started with mozzarella sticks. Then, we both ordered burgers and fries. Everything was really good. My teen said that he liked his burger better than our regular burger joint at home (!). There were lots of TVs available but it was a not loud or crazy, even on a Saturday night. Great spot!“

“I like it here. Went earlier on a Friday night for a drink with some friends. There was a good band that started before we were leaving. Lively, crowded, casual atmosphere. It's a bit cramped around the bar where we sat. The walls are close to it. We liked it anyway. Bathrooms clean. Bar food available. Nice bartenders. A fun place to go! A varied crowd of 20 somethings to 60 somethings. Casual friendly patrons and employees.“

“The restaurant put a reserved sign on our table, but somebody else sat there. The host apologized and found us a different table in a short amount of time. Our server was friendly and checked back with us throughout the night. I left off 1 star because we were 6 people, and 2 meals came out first and it was a long time before the other meals came out. Overall a great experience. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we have brought many people here who also request we go back“

“Been going to Max’s since I was kid & they were on the Boardwalk. Still the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Also love their crispy onion rings, steak fries, zucchini fries & sweet potato fries. Other menu items look good however I cannot go to Max’s without getting their famous hot dog!“

“First time visiting here as we celebrated a long time friends' birthday. Our table of 10 were all over the board as to ordering and I didn't have the luxury of asking their thoughts on their dish. My wife and I ordered one of the specials, a broiled grouper florentine with cherry tomatoes in a butter sauce. Done just right, with an ample side of asparagus and an even larger dollop of mashed potatoes which came on a separate plate!!!!This was executed beautifully, and I have no doubt that it was the right choice. Fwiw, it's a bar, with outdoor seating, ....a real nice room on what was a beautiful night. The menu smacks of pub grub, but we were ecstatic as to our grouper dish. There is a limited entree menu and I have no doubt that the kitchen stars on any of which is on the menu or their special menu for the evening. We were there to catch the birthday girls' cousin who plays there each first and last Wednesday. Frank with his Gibson is an amazing musician who along with Tommy on saxs (soprano, tenor & baritone, along with flute) with Jerry on the congas just tore through a musical itinerary that had them covering George Benson, Carlos, War, to changing gears and doing Neil, and Dylan. They were great and not to be missed. There's so much music to be had down here, be it AP, Bradley, etc. Not many had music as what went down last night at Jacks. There were also more than a few people who were there for Frank and Tommy. Very cool place. Waitresses rock and make sure you're taken care of.“

“Had a great time at The Shore House tonight! It was Tuesday Trivia night which added to the fun atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Apple BBQ wings. We had the pleasure of getting to speak with Jason who made us feel super welcome and took the time to explain the property's history; Jason really took good care of us!! “This evening we decided to return to the Mantoloking Road Alehouse. We loved the small ,tender, succulent mussels from last evening, so we decided we must have another order this time Fra Diablo. Abel did not disappoint. The dish was the absolute best. We also ordered the pizza that was superb! Kristen was our server this evening, and her bubble personality,plus her attention to detail was outstanding. Evan our server from last night recognized us and stopped at our table to thank us for returning. Kristen even send over the mgr.,Stephanie, the manager for the night to say hello to us. Even the hostess recognized us as returning customers from last evening. We can't say enough good things about the quality of the food to the outstanding, upbeat service. Put Mantoloking Road Alehouse on your "To Do List." You won't regret it. The Best!“

“We are a local architecture firm and held our office holiday party here recently. Having been to the Supper Club for different music events throughout the years, I wasn't sold on how their event planners, Vicki & Libby, would be able to create a warm and inviting place for our 48 staff members in a room that can accommodate 160 guests. But I have to say, they knocked it out of the park! The placement of the buffet tables to close in the space a bit was perfect and they were happy to accommodate my requests when it came to fostering an environment where everyone could choose to casually hang out at hi-top tables, at the bar, in the seated window spaces or at regular tables with their colleagues. They rolled in a Christmas tree for the stage, designated an area for our selfie station, permitted us to add our company logo to their 2 LCD panels on stage, provided a microphone for our speeches, played my specific Spotify playlist for us in their audio booth, etc. We did not pay extra for these items/services. Our add-on appetizer table by the bar was perfect for guests who arrived hungry and needed a little something before the buffet came out. The food we chose from their generous menu was all wonderful. We added a carving station with roast beef, which got rave reviews. The staff was perfectly accommodating that day, even to our gluten free employee (which I had forgotten about!). We chose the open bar tab package which worked out great because half of our staff doesn't drink alcohol. We have a culturally diverse team scattered amongst all ages here and as the HR Manager, it was important to me that EVERYONE had a good time and felt they were appreciated. I received fantastic feedback across the board. Especially from our Owner/Principal. He couldn't have been more pleased. Big thank you to Vicki & Libby for making me look good:)“
