“Great local diner in Lake Hopatcong. Breakfast is typical diner breakfast fair and doesn’t disappoint. We finally made it to their weekly Thursday night dinner menu and weren’t disappointed. The pork chops Murphy are phenomenal. If you’re in the area on a Thursday don’t miss stopping in for dinner.”

“Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. “Absolutely the best diner i have been to in a while. Its a little pricey but the food and attentiveness of the staff was by far the best, he was great with the kids and even gave us a free fruit bowl. The ambiance was classic old school diner with great music playing. Definitely our go to diner from now on, worth the 40 min drive.”

“Their food is good, but the soda always has a salty taste to it. I dont live in the town, so i dont know if its the water supply. I understand some towns get salt in the supply.during the winter due to runoff from the roads, but this is all year round.”

There should be uniformity in cooking, for example the pastrami sloppy joe has been in 2 pcs ,grilled and other times it's 3 pcs toasted, other times it's not grilled or tosted and served sandwich style, 2 pcs. White bread!! Great food and drinks overall, no matter how it's served. The best ribs ,brisket and pulled pork I ever had. you won't leave hungry no matter what you order. the sides are also delicious: we sampled caramelized carrots/string beans, mac & cheese, slaw, smoked red beans, and broccoli...all excellent. Friendly staff and excellent service. No liquor license yet but nice selection of other drinks. Pleasant "log cabin" atmosphere. Can't think of a negative. Definitely a GO TO restaurant.”

Ordered pick up take out, drive 25 minutes was WORTH IT! 7 items for $60, food was flavorful, high quality and a nice portion. The butter naan was the favorite. Vegetable samosa little thick with dough but lovely inside. Chaat was a bit disappointing, not as pictured on their online menu and there was very limited yogurt dip. Contained many onions despite that not being listed. Chicken tiki masala was very sweet, good but not traditional tiki masala. Calamari was delicious, never had calamari like that before. The sauce was impeccable. Gulab for dessert was three dough balls saturated in syrup ( not our favorite but that’s a personal opinion).Overall ready to go back and try something new in the menu. The environment is tricky; it is colorful and fun, but also the flow of the main seating area is chopped up.andappears like you are in dance floor. It can't decide what it wants to be. You can see the full Bakery in eye's view with customer traffic, so quieter romantic dinners would be better served with elevated quality booths or partitioned from the main eating area. It's a BIG CHOPPY space and it can be considered tacky and off-putting, but these are quibbles. The food, again was lights out and the service was great.”
