I have recently moved into the area and was headed to the beach. I decided to stop here and grab a sandwich to enjoy while I had my toes in the sand. Enjoy is the wrong word... I ordered a chicken cutlet with lettuce, tomato and some mayonnaise....a simple favorite. I got to the beach and sat down in my chair, opened my water, unwrapped my sandwich and was so disappointed. The chicken had such freezer burn it was totally inedible..... ruined my peaceful lunch at the beach. It was so bad I had to go back and let them know, I honestly think it was frozen way before the coronvirus shutdown. So I go back and speak with an older male (maybe 60?) we spoke outside the store ( very quietly and private) he became loud and was very unreceptive to the feedback, he actually became quite angry when I told him...not a nice human being. He didn’t even have the consideration to wear a face mask when speaking to me. Shame on him for his behavior. Save yourself the disappointment and grief. Eat anywhere else and enjoy your day.

I don't even think they deserve the star I am giving. How long does it really take to make a sandwich? Dirty and they is very unpleasant.

Rediciously expensive subs for what they give you , 40 dollars for 2 subs and a pound of potato salad should not be pathetically skimpy !!!

GASSSSSSSSSSS !!!! It's so good after being on the beach all day. They have different and unique sandwiches to try. All of the cold salads they have are so good

Staff is so polite & friendly. We stopped in for a quick bite on our way out of Lavallette...My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, which she said was tasty but could have used a little more pesto sauce. The Shrimp Po Boy I had was really tasty, large shrimp, tasty remoulade but the bread was little thick and dry...I ended up putting all the food on 1/2 the bread, made it better.

I lifeguard down this way and there is no better place to stop in for lunch and grab a sandwich. Also, they have some of the best sesame noodles I've ever had. I'm in there three times a week at least and have never had a bad experience over the last couple of years. The owners Jen and Mike go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Always look forward to summer time and being able to come in and get lunches from here.
