“Sometimes you have to abandon what you know (burrito, hamburger, lamb kabob) and try something new like bibimbap (pictured) which means mixing of cooked rice with cool stuff mixed in. Seriously though, a few new places have opened up on the block: no knock on Rosy's Taco Bar, but you just might feel more satisfied at Nam Chon (Korean). The hot bowl/pot cooking technique puts their bibimbap dishes over the top. Come down towards the east end of South St. and check it out. The chef/waiter will give you a free appetizer assortment sampler for your enthusiasm.“

“A fantastic hidden neighborhood gem. Service was excellent - welcoming, knowledgeable, and great conversation at the sushi bar made our experience a memorable one - great insights and recommendations. Food is expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. The robatayaki was SO good. We will be back!!“

“Over all a good experience! The appetizers are probably the best part of the dining experience. The entrees are a little too high price for the quantity of food given. Albeit it is a higher end in terms of establishment I don't feel the elegance dictates portion. The dumplings of all sorts are certainly the highlight along with the robust and bountifully sized sides.Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegy options considering the menu type“

“RUN to Ninja Bao, holy moly the food was delicious!! I am obsessed with the beef scallion pancake (that is rolled up like a burrito and reminded me of pho spices a bit) and the vegetable gyoza!! Probably the best veg dumpling I've ever had. The philly cheesesteak bun and cheesesteak gyoza were also amazing and full of flavor. Soup dumpling was okay, but the wrapper was nice. I enjoyed the texture of the bao a lot, and honestly the cheesesteak bao tasted better than your traditional cheesteak imo. Chicken gyoza was my least favorite and not a standout. Overall, I would totally come back here to this underground hidden gem!!“

“Came here for dinner during Wrestlemania 40 weekend. Excellent service and the sushi was amazing! Especially the fried sushi with smoked salmon. Also got the shrimp tempura and sweet potato rolls. Wish had more room to finish it all. Pretty small place, so was lucky enough that it wasn't so busy. Highly recommend!“

“Really enjoyed our experience for a fusion restaurant. Food and drinks had wonderful flavor. Really enjoyed the hibiskey drink and red curry pork dumplings. The brisket in the brisket ramen was a little over cooked but otherwise the broth and kimchi were tasty. Sat at the bar, bartender was quick and friendly. Menu is very small and a little pricy but we felt it was worth the unique experience.“

“I love this place! I haven’t been able to find an authentic banh mi place in Jersey that is as good as the ones in Philly, but THIS PLACE MAKES THEM EVEN BETTER. I came into the store and made a big order of 10 banh mi’s, they were able to provide me with them in 20 minutes! This tells me that the banh mi’s aren’t premade and sitting out, but made when ordered! You can tell how fresh it is by the crunch of the bread. This is my favorite place and I will try hard not to be here everyday HAHA.“

“Not the greatest place to sit down and have dinner at, it’s a bit loud and small; better suited for quick to-gos or a lunch spot to grab food quickly. But the food is excellent and affordable, and there is seating if it’s not too busy!!!“

“I love me some Papaya Salad, it did not disappoint. I also had the Pineapple rice with Chicken and it also was delicious. My son had white rice with Beef and Brocolli, he said it was good but my rice was better. We spent a little over $50 but with the way things are these days, I think that’s expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.k“

“The food is amazing and not the typical Vietnamese offering. The restaurant switches up the menu quite frequently, so you almost never know what is going to be available when you go there. It is definitely a great date place and it is located in a very fun neighborhood.“

“Diving into Golden Triangle unveils not just a meal, but a passport to a culinary expedition specializing in the Southeast Asian flavors of Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar. Tucked away in the heart of Philly, this humble gem offers an intimate escape to distant lands with its quiet, casual ambiance and a cozy dining room that boasts no more than eight tables. Our adventure began with the Malaysian classic, Roti Canai -- a delightfuly crispy, flaky, chewy marvel that serves as a prelude to the symphony of flavors awaiting us. Paired with a rich curry chicken potato dip, this dish was a standing ovation in the making. Then came the Sambal Shrimp, a bold ensemble of shrimp reveling in a spicy brown sauce, creating a festival of taste that had every fork in the room longing for an encore. The Beef Rendang, while a masterpiece of flavor and tenderness with its slow-cooked, aromatic curry, left us longing for a second act, as the disappointing portion size was more of a soliloquy than a full-fledged aria.Despite the small dining room, Golden Triangle played the perfect host to our group of six (including a baby car seat), accommodating us at their sole large table--a testament to their ability to harmonize space and service. While the Mee Goreng and Penang Char Kway Teow flavors were well balance and added depth to our culinary journey, both dishes lacked a bit of the smoky "wok hay" that I was yearning for. The Burmese Kimchi introduced a zestful twist to the meal as it was our first time trying any Burmese food, but it wasn't particularly memorable. In the end, the Roti Canai and Sambal Shrimp emerged as our favorites of the night.Overall, Golden Triangle is more than a dining destination; it's a quiet nook where flavors dance and diners are invited to a show that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the heart. With its intimate atmosphere and welcoming vibe, it stands out as a beacon for those seeking an immersive culinary experience in Center City. Here's to more explorations at this quaint culinary corner, where the world feels both vast and intimately close, all within the confines of its quiet, casual dining room.“

“Can you please set up your online ordering for take out? ! I would really prefer not having to call. Food is good, more on the authentic side than those totally americanized places. It's hard to find Authentic Chinese food in this area. I used to order form Taste of Szechuan all the time but it closed.“

“This was a surprise on our 5th night in Philly. We had a group of small plates. Pork dumpling in chili oil, glazed sting beans, Indian pancakes with curry, peking duck buns, and Singapore noodles. If the food is this quality all the time, they have hit a home run. Add in the excellent drinks menu with well crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and there is nothing to fault here. Would definitely come back.“

“Such friendly service and food was delicious! Can be more spicy but if you ask they can give you their homemade crushed red chillies. We had their pad Thai, Thai peanutty noodles, pineapple curry, pad see ew and crab fried rice. Everything was very tasty! Some of the best Thai food we’ve had and we’re always looking for good Thai.“

I actually went twice in one day and Mohammed was kind enough to give me a sample of their nee Nutella bowls that they have. I recommend this place to everyone I know. It is truly an amazing environment and it honestly has amazing food and drinks! You must go here, if i could give them 10 stars I would !!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps“

“Agreed! It's the only place to go when you want great Chinese! Everywhere around me (Washington Twp) is just different grades of "bad." Ingredients are high quality -- no gristle chicken/ or slimy chicken. Great sauces -- no generic brown sauce that they throw on every dish. Recommend Beef Chow fun, Shrimp lo mein, chicken and broccoli, pot stickers, any soup, etc. Fabulous. I wish they were closer!“

“The place was ok on what this area has to offer coming from Philly where the Chinese food is night and day. A little on the expensive side but not bad at all. Most definitely not amazing. I will eat here again in the future.Parking: Big parking lot in shopping center where it is located“

“Canting Wok Noodle Bar is our new go-to spot for Asian food. We had the pork belly and crispy chicken bao buns, and cheesesteak and chicken egg rolls (better than any egg rolls we've ever had!) to start, followed by the pad tai (very generous portion and delicious) and beef bulgogi (so tender) rice bowl. Washing it down with the Mexican coke for some reason hit the spot, too!“
