“New ownership looks like a good move. Was surprised to see our Italian wrapped in boars head paper. If all your meats are boars head you should advertise that. Sandwich was quite robust for $14. As we are fans of both Tastee and Hoagie Haven this was a contender. (Seriously it was a very well constructed sandwich) Feedback would be more onions and sharper provolone. (Board head should have more kick than what was on there)Unclear what online ordering is operational, and the store ambiance and customer service was a bit off. The ordering terminals we fine, but would be nice to be able to order online for pickup in store without using one of the deliver apps. Also given how robust the menu is, what is offered when? Nice job. We will be back again.“
“Truly the only place you should even consider eating at when you visit Trenton. There is parking around the corner that's free on weekends! Also accessible by multiple forms of public transit! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Atmosphere is absolutely adorable and the staff are the friendliest people you've ever met in your life. It's also incredibly evident that the owners care about the community, and will go the extra mile for their customers. The food is a little expensive but well worth it, definitely make a trip if you're in Mercer County, it's also an incredibly adorable part of downtown Trenton that is a pleasure to walk around... All around they get 5 stars from me!“
“Was in the area and stopped in based on the strong reviews. Highly recommend this spot. I spoke to Chef Anton who has a wealth of experience he's brought to his own spot. His passion for creating an awesome restaurant is obvious. Staff is great, very attentive and helpful. I got a basic breakfast combo and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back to try the blueberry/ricotta pancakes and lunch options. Also got some lemon/blueberry bread pudding to take home. Awesome spot!!!“
“Awesome place … Team was very friendly and patient.Stopped in recently for the first time and was presently surprised that I didn’t try sooner.Lots of choices and sold “day old’s”.Will be going back to try one of the platter choices.Parking: Seemed to have plenty of parking for the time we were there.“
“Lived in Levittown my entire life and just ate here for the first time. Establishment was clean. We ordered 2 breakfast combos with pancakes. 1 regular combo with breakfast meat. Food was really delicious! The service wasn’t so great. I’ll give them that it was busy but wasn’t asked if we needed refills. When I asked the girl who walked by for a refill she looked at me. Then looked away and b lined it. Wasn’t asked how we were enjoying our food. If the service was there I would definitely rate them a 5.“
“The food is amazing!!! The BEST homemade breakfast in town!!! The customer service is tremendous. We call the owner Grandpa!!! Every day for 2 months we had breakfast & lunch. The food portion side is more than enough. The ambiance is neat and clean. I even come on my days off. 100% better than the chain restaurants in the area.“
“This is a gem of a cafe. First time visiting today, very satisfied. Server very friendly, service fast, food delicious, atmosphere great, love all the antiques decorating this place. Coffee great too! Will be visiting again. I highly recommend Cafe “
“Came here on a Saturday morning as a group of 6 and was able to be seated after a 10 minute wait. We waited several minutes to get water to our table, which already had oversized menus there. The menu was extensive with plenty of options. FOOD: we ordered the following: Bronx omelette with mashed brown potatoes.. really good, sausage was sliced in the onelette with pepper and onions. Brooklyn omelette with pastrami.. so good and feeling Caramel apple French toast- the topping was good but the French toast wasn't infused with any additional flavoring Coconut Banana waffles - flavor was really delicious, waffles was light and fluffy, however the banana and coconut weighed the waffle down and made it mushy after a while Chicken and waffles - chicken were chicken traders and not actually chicken pieces as we were expecting. It came with a little bottle of maple syrup. For extra bottle, it would be $3.00. Tenders were a but over-fried. California omelette was good and very filling. Cappuccino- was not tasting like Cappuccino and was returned for regular coffee Caramel brulee latte- was absolutely divine Ambiance- cute spot with pastries in the front section and seating towards a back. There's a upstairs but don't know if there is seating there as well. Service was okay. A lil slow at time but very attentive. Food was in abundance. Their portion sizes are generous“
“Nice luxury diner vibe, and excellent service, but like everything in Princeton, prices are over the top. A plate of macaroni is $23, and the chicken and waffles are $27. Fine dining prices, with more casual dining experience.$33 for one person with tip but no sides and drink.Update: a single chocolate chip pancake was only $4. And it was incredibly soft milky and rich. I do wish they had malted milkshakes. Any diner should. Despite being so busy on Sunday noontime that I barely got a seat at the bar, I got my food in less than 15 minutes. Fast service.“
“We really like the turning point. Their menu is unique with different meals you do not see in other restaurants. The food is always good, the service is always excellent and wait staff is completely pleasant and helpful. I like that I can substitute potatoes with fresh greens and their fantastic dressing.Dietary restrictions: Because I’m a diabetic, I look for meals that do not spike my sugar. I can usually find a great meal here that is not full of carbs.“
