“Excellent food and beer options. The bartenders are very friendly and you also have the bowling alley in the same building so it’s pretty rad. Build your own burger ? or sandwich is awesome. Definitely recommend the Mac n cheese with crispy chicken!“

“The chicken was so moist, not dry at all and that sauces were perfect! Food 9/10, atmosphere is 9/10 (only cause its really loud n hard to talk sometimes but really fun)and 9/10 service I would of gave a 10/10 service if it didn't take so long to sing happy birthday but overall really enjoyed myself here. They have a great staff food n vibe. Great for families or date night.“

“I have been coming to this place now for over three years… Every time I have a guest over I ask them if they want to eat the best burger in town! Especially their signature OMG burger! Oh and their fries are spectacular! Their employees, their service, and everything else about this restaurant is amazing! They also have a delicious signature sauce. Yum!Vegetarian options: I went there with my sister-in-law and she had the meatless burger and said it was deliciousKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!“

“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again“

“Stopped here after church and was pleasantly surprised. The owner greeted us and sat us immediately. You can genuinely see his care and pride in the restaurant. The service was outstanding. Our daughter was the only child there but they all fussed over her. We really appreciated that. They also made menu modifications for her with no issues. We all loved our food. Portions were plenty and we all brought home some leftovers. Oh and get the beets if you are a beet person. They were fantastic!“

“Been meaning to review Table 42 many times before. I have the honestly say, the food, the staff and environment are delicious, super friendly and very accomadating. The atmosphere was relaxing and the live musician was the perfect background. I've had apps, entrees and their thin crust pizza and would recommend every dish on the menu. “Wow. The Black River Barn has outdone themselves again. What I remember growing up is an older pub feel with ok food, that has changed. It's now the most reasonably priced, delicious, kid and adult friendly food in a good part of Northern NJ. The atmosphere is palpable and full of life. Everyone loves their service, food, and drinks along with the prices. Can't say enough good about a restaurant I once wrote off as an older crowd. If you haven't visited in a while, give it another chance and they WILL impress you.“

“It was a Thursday evening and we sat in the bar. We ordered off of the Chefs Tasting menu. We both ordered a salad and had the salmon entree which was deliciously perfect. Then we got to order a dessert because all the were included in the 29.99 price! It was excellent. We also had wine with our dinner.“

“Most of us ordered the Sirloin Steak. It came out on a hot plate with rice and potatoes on another plate. The steak was quite large and was very juicy. Chimichurry sauce was also very good. The steak cut wasn't the best, but that's the nature of Sirloin. Overall, I enjoyed it. I would probably serve chimichurry sauce in a different type of container (instead of a plastic cup)“

“Stopped by with another couple for drinks after dinner elsewhere. Nice bar and pleasant atmosphere. Bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. Although I only had a Sambuco Black, it was served appropriately with three coffee beans. Would stop by this bar again. Maybe even do dinner here next time.“

“Lots of pizza places to choose from in Long Valley, but this is our go-to. Love their pizza! And staff so friendly. For the 3rd year in a row, they let the middle school play have their cast party there. The kids run around on the grass and pizza and drink soda. Pizza has long been consumed, but they let us stay and celebrate and eat cake long after they have closed. Very supportive of kids and the community. I'm happy to recommend them!“

“We have eaten there several times and it is always delicious. We want to give special appreciation to Rachel, your manager, for her special caring and sensitivity to our needs. In today's world, where one struggles, especially if old like we are, to speak to a live human being, when you are able to converse with a person who is actually listening to what you said, this is rare. Add to that delicious fresh food and you have a winner. Tonight we had fresh large shrimps with a most delicious home made cocktail sauce. Fresh crab cakes with a fabulous remoulade, and a chocolate mousse to die for as dessert. We ordered too much and have to save some for tomorrow. We live in town, and are happy to see the names of so many out of town visitors appreciate Chesapeake Tavern.“

But we learned German and Germania Park has become a part of my life as my mother and step father were active members. “Me and my wife decided to have lunch at Mr Crabby's and we were not disappointed. From a 1 to 10 I would rate our experience a 12! From the waiter, Brian to the delicious food, we had the Lobster Reuben and the Mahi Mahi Tacos, we were amazed and well pleased. The owner, Colleen came to our table and greeted us like we were a part of their family. We had such a great time and we plan to return very soon. Mr Crabby's is a special place that I would definitely recommend to all our friends and family.“

“We went for a game or two for my adult son's birthday. We enjoyed some drinks and appetizers in Big Ed's and then bowled on one of the lanes in the VIP room while league games were going on in the main area. The servers were very attentive, and we had a great time.“
