“Stopped by this local dot because I was HUNGRY! Lol. Also needed to get something before heading to my next appointment. I walked in and although the place was empty, the employee at the front was patient, helpful and friendly. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the establishment. You could tell they worked hard to keep this casual spot warm and inviting. Down to the flower vases on each table. I ordered the pupusa and chicken tacos. The food was flavorful and ingredients fresh. Even the radishes and cucumbers as garnish was fresh. I'll be back again. I love finding local spots with great food! Let me know if you have any to recommend.“
“(Translated by Google) I loved it. I was able to feel in my country for a couple of hours. Exceptional service. The place is super elegant. God bless its owners.(Original)Me encantó pude sentirme en mi país por un par de horas servicio excepcional el lugar está súper elegante Dios bendiga a sus propietarios“
“On my way home from N.Y. I decided to Google for a Salvadorian Restaurant. Kyle's Restaurant reviews grabbed my attention, so I had to stop by and check it out. WOW! DELICIOUS ?. I'm a Jersey girl living in P.A. and will definitely drive just to eat at Kyle's. I also tasted the Horchata, such an authentic taste. And, of course, I had to grab some Salvadorian pastries. The atmosphere was great and the people were pleasant. ?????“
“I know a couple of pupusas spots in Elizabeth, but this one hits different. You can tell that filling is fresh, the way they’re made is spot on, and you can’t go wrong with the cortido and salsa. It’s a little spot on a corner and it feels like home inside there, there’s a bunch of other dishes as well that represent that country-home style of cooking from El Salvador and that’s what I love most about it. I definitely recommend it.“
“The chorizo and mixta pupusas are soooooo good! Best ones i’ve tasted since Willys place and they are fresh, made on the spot. The sopa de res is also good. I didn’t dine in but the place was clean and kitchen is within view of dining area. The staff was warm and the prices are fantastic.“
“Great locally-owned Salvadoran restaurant found in the Seaport area. Daily lunch specials from heated trays as well as daily a la carte specials, such as tamales, pupusas, baleadas, etc. The pupusas revueltas are excellent.. cheesey, doughey goodness, served with a house-made flavorful salsa roja and curtido.“
“The most tastiest and divine pupusas I ever had. Fresh and full of love. You enter and choose either El Salvador to the left or Honduras to the right. the menu has plenty of dishes from these amazing countries.Enjoy and eating in is the best option.“
“Small restaurant serving Salvadoran food. Pupusas are generous. But the curtido lacks flavor. I don’t like it. Suite pupusa had carrots inside. That’s a no. Flavorless. The bathroom needs work although clean. You can always judge a restaurant by its bathroom. The music is loud for such a small place with maybe 8 tables. The music video that was on at the time of our visit was vulgar. And we asked to have it changed which they did. What bothers me is the sign that says “4% Surcharge charge for card use”.Again, why ?? I keep seeing this trend. This is so tacky. Get off the surcharge bandwagon. If you can’t afford to do business then close the place. Incorporate your fees into the food price. Don’t penalize us for not using cash.Vegetarian options: Pupusas“
“Super delicious mouthwatering food, they take their time to cook it so call ahead to save time, food is truly authentic, service is very good. I am a native Salvadoran so don’t be fooled by the bad reviews from others, I’m a regular customer here because the service and quality of the food are one of the best, the owner makes sure she makes your food to the best quality standards in the food industry sanitation and food poising control certification is required for all cooks per owner’s policy. The atmosphere and Interior of the building are distracting making you doubt about what you are getting to eat. But the dishes are made like if your grandmother cooked it. Prices are very low in comparison to others.“
“So excited to find a real Costa Rican breakfast here!!! I lived in Costa Rica for five years, and this is the real deal. Gallo pinto, eggs, fried plantains, queso... Sooo good. Service was good, portions were generous, people were friendly, and the restaurant has incredible murals and some great Costa Rica decor. Five stars, will be back!“
“I ordered online delivery from this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed.I had Pupusas and Steamed Cassava. The Pupusas were absolutely tasty andThe cassava ( yucca) was tender but it lacked the grilled onions Im used to when having cassava in that fashion. But overall, Good food.“
