“My first time trying A Mother's Touch. Chef Mel has genuinely pleasant energy. She was patient as we made a decision. I wanted the Chicken & Sweet potato waffles which they don't make after a certain time. She made an exception and made my mine fresh. The chicken was well seasoned, crispy and juicy. I loved the texture of the waffle and it wasn't overly sweet. We also had the combo whiting/shrimp with greens and Mac and cheese. The fish and shrimp were well seasoned. The shrimp were a nice size. The mac and cheese was absolutetly cheesy and not dry. We also had a fish sandwich which was served with cajun fries. As a fry snob I had to steal one and I will be back for my own order. Honestly the best soul food experience I have had in Jersey in a while. The service and the food were both ?“
“The food is great, but they don't understand how to not provide utensils. 90% of the time, I order online and pick up. In the notes on the item, I say "no utensils". As you're checking out, there's a field specifically marked "Do you want utensils?" and I write "no utensils". But they always give me utensils.Is it a big deal? No. Are their salmon and tuna salads fantastic? Yes. But would it be nice if they paid attention to their own ordering system? Yeah.“
“Flagels are a must. Assorted bagels are five star. The fresh salads and special Leo’s salad are fantastic. Their take-out dinners like grilled salmon, stuffed cabbage and kasha are well known. People from all over come here. Don’t miss this place.“
“This deli has been here for decades, and hasn't changed since at least the 90s. It has always and continues to be known for its phenomenal tuna. The person I was with said that the tuna is as good as it was decades ago. I loved the sloppy joe that I got from them. It was a very pleasant atmosphere with very nice workers.“

“David Alan Caterers, catered our Thanksgiving this past month and it was stupendous!!! We hosted our thanksgiving in Montclair, NJ and we coordinated ALL of it from California. We had not worked with a caterer in New Jersey before, but we will definitely use them again. Our point person was Lisa W., and she was on top of all of it!!!! The food was delish and the staff was spectacular. They handled everything for 20 people. Food, rentals and presentation. We can't recommend them enough!!!“
“First off I am a DJ. So of course, I would be super critical of a venue that my Daughter and her fiance chose to get married at.Hands down, this place was above and beyond every step of the way. From 7:30am until midnight, there was someone helping you, every step of the way.No exaggeration, every staff member young or old did their job professionally and without attitude. Im 50 years old and have lived long enough to know that it's almost impossible to have everyone on the same page at such a large event. I don't know if all of the stars aligned on this day, but it was absolutely prefect.“

“Got here late but better late than never. 4 donuts left. I bought 3 maple bacon. . Crispy bacon on a maple frosted old fashioned donut was delicious. Sometimes a maple bacon can be greasy but these donuts were not. Perfection. I will definitely come back to try more of their donuts. Parking out front on street. Open until 2PM on weekend. Get here early or pre-0rder. Really nice owner. Please patronize this donut shop.“
“My husband and I had our wedding reception at Crystal Plaza on January 20th, 2024. From the moment we stepped foot inside we knew our venue tours were done. The energy that exudes from the cocktail hour area, with dark wood and a fireplace to an outdoor atrium-like room, into the grand ballroom which is bright and timeless- it’s the perfect place to get married and have an unforgettable party. The bridal suite was like nothing I had ever seen before, it was gorgeous, spacious and full of light and the grooms vault was everything my husband could have possibly asked for plus more. The grounds are immaculate, the chandeliers both inside and out are out of this world. I mean, the place is just perfect in every single way. After meeting Max (who we love!!!!) and setting our date, we instantly felt like we had a new family in Crystal Plaza that were going to guide us through the planning process. We were not wrong. From vendor recommendations to simple questions that I probably could have googled, Max and Talmia were outstanding with communication, I wouldn’t have been able to plan my wedding without them. The food is out of this world, it was not regular “wedding food”, our guests raved about cocktail hour, dinner and traveling treats which we did for desserts. The Crytal Plaza team accommodated our every need, want and desire, no stone was left unturned, and the day went on flawlessly. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we wouldn’t have wanted to have it anywhere else. We want to send major thanks to our Maitre D Team Mikheill, Rovin and Jason who were an absolute pleasure to have beside us that night making sure everything was perfect. Our suite attendants Ariel and Johanz- who were extremely helpful while we were getting ready, brought us anything we needed and were always right there in case we had any questions, our Bridal and Groom attendants, Gerald and Chloe who were with us after our ceremony to ensure we were ready to party and have the best time. I have to say Chloe was exceptional, she was by my side all night and her energy was awesome- she was so helpful, attentive and she was just another bright light during our special day, as well as Gerald who my husband had a wonderful experience with, he was so kind and accommodating and made sure any and everything that they needed was done. Lastly, we want to thank Max, the Janoff family as a whole, Talmia and the entire staff for helping with every step along the way and executing the most magical night of our lives.
