““The best Manhattan bagel by far”I actually don’t like Manhattan bagel that much but this one is just different⭐️MENU - somehow this location has significantly more options than every other one. I have never seen the blueberry glaze bagel anywhere else and it is amazing. They have atleast 6 or 7 bagels not offered at others. Oatmeal, Hash browns, GLUTEN FREE bagels, croissants, turnovers,dog treat bagels. Lattes and espresso drinks, and they have oat milk. Also lunch options.FOOD - not a fan of the bagels usually but this location bagels are definitely better that the others. Blueberry glaze bagel is fantastic. “AMAZINGGGGG!!! After hearing nothing but excellent things about this restaurant I finally made it and it lived up to all the hype!! Everything was amazing from the time we sat down, staff was very friendly and welcoming and our waitress was so personable and very attentive. All the food was top notch, the crab toast appetizer special on the fabulous sourdough bread was unbelievable, I have never had crab that fresh! Also, I highly recommend the potato app ? Doesn't come with fries, they have to be ordered separately, but there is a selection to choose from like boardwalk to old bay crab fries. You order at the counter and have a seat with the number you're given. Even before I sat down, they came out with my food. Everything was tasty. Half of our party went home with milkshakes. They recommend the chocolate covered strawberry shake. Staff was great, very friendly! There is a small parking lot available on site.“
“This morning my husband and I went to Dockside Diner for breakfast. They were busy and full. We sat down at counter and they only had one waitress, one busser/runner and chef. Despite being shorthanded and extremely busy, the staff, service and food that day were incredible. The 3 staff members handled a difficult situation with class, efficiency, hard work, and a warm friendly smile. Kuddos to that staff!!“

Portions are plentiful. If you are having 6 or more people on a weekend or holiday,, make sure to reserve a table or you will be waiting. Also a small bar. Outdoor dining and drinks in season. This is now the new go-to place for family gatherings. Dock side service for boats, too.“
“Definitely one of the top restaurants in Manahawkin/LBI area. My pasta dish was amazing, and service was great. Only downside to this place is it’s not huge and they don’t take reservations. We lucked out and got a front parking spot and table fairly quick. They also have a cool little outside area with a drink truck and a fire pit. This makes the waiting part a lot more bearable (keep in mind we only waited about 15-20 mins anyway). Overall, great experience. Certainly a spot you should try this summer if you’ve never been.“
“We ran in on a whim and were greeted with a warm welcome. We ordered a bunch of small plates and they were all delicious- the artichoke were cooked in a lovely sauce, the calamari were fried in a light, spicy sauce and the grilled shrimp had a terrific dipping sauce as well. “Impressed with the quality of the fresh food. Everything in the deli case looked fresh! I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich with vodka sauce and ricotta. It was really good. The bread was excellent and the cutlet was really big. The sandwich is huge. I also got some rolls and Irish soda bread to go and a cappuccino. The Irish soda bread was excellent. The rolls were soft on the inside but the outside was a bit tough. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. They have an area outside to eat there that is enclosed and heated in the colder months.“

“Tuckerton location: Really good staff, food prepared well and served hot, and good drinks. Only food complaint is the deserts are just barely ok. Store bought cakes, pre cut and stored on plates are ready to go, but lacked any freshness. No whipped cream or imagination, thereafter. Cheesecake remined of Jello cheesecake and was just soggy. Edible but not incredible and no one at the table finished theirs. As for a lower rating for atmosphere, there are just alot of tables on that floorspace. You hit them as soon as you walk in. So when it gets packed, which is a good thing for the Pub, forget about atmosphere, unless the crowd is rooting for local teams. But, still a good place to eat, drink, and gather.“

“First time to Black Eyed Susan's and it really was such a delight. The vibe inside was very cozy and inviting, they had a wood fire going in the fireplace, the lights were perfectly dimmed. We were greeted warmly, our coats checked. My drink, the "you had me at aloe," was the prefect blend of fruity and fresh - and the passion fruit pearls atop the drink were so fun - a little burst of flavor! My husband couldn't decide on a wine, and they kindly let him have a small taste of one before he committed - in the end he went with a lovely Sangiovese Red. We left feeling FULL. The prices here are not cheap, but the serving size you get for the price is a good value. We took home portions of our entrees, and the only apps we had were the sour dough bread and olives - of which we also took some home. Typically I don't venture this far north on the island, but for the tasty food and bevies I would make the trip again.“

The only criticism this morning was the breakfast potatoes and although it does say "crispy" these were well done and bounced across the plate and resisted piercing from my fork. I think next time the hash browns instead. Everything was hot and fresh, coffee urn on the table was enough for 3 cups, I liked that. Perkins is always a safe bet whether here in Lacey, Toms River or Scranton Pa always good and priced fairly.“

“What an amazing find. Went for take out before the Friday Fire Pit in Brant Beach. Our family ordered 2 “seasonal Salads” and one Asian mango salads. Wow, homemade dressing, the freshest of ingredients, and at a cost of $5. Less than anywhere on the island. We also ordered the amazing French fries and their house special grilled cheese with a slice of tomato. Yum and yum. Again at a bargain price. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. They could not do enough for us while we waited offering us water and a bench. Everyone was smiling, singing and so happy. We will definitely return tomorrow to try their breakfast and their dinner!“

“Excellent place to eat. I've been here 8 or more times over the years on a date night and with three grown boys. Never did anyone order something they did not like. Always good service, fun and creative food for the family. Prices are very fair. My wife loves the fish/shrimp taco and I always get the pulled pork on a pretzel roll. Their catchup is great, not you standard out of the bottle kind. They leave wipes and a roll of paper towels on your table, so you can get messy and not worry. A great casual place to go out and not break the back.“
