“I LOVE HOLIDAY SNACK BAR! This place has my whole heart. I grew up going here and I never plan to stop. Food is classic, get yourself a burger and a fry and a boost slushie. True classics. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor and everything around is so fun and warming. Staff is great too! I’ll never stop coming here. I love it every single time.“
“We ran in on a whim and were greeted with a warm welcome. We ordered a bunch of small plates and they were all delicious- the artichoke were cooked in a lovely sauce, the calamari were fried in a light, spicy sauce and the grilled shrimp had a terrific dipping sauce as well. All were a bit unusual and very tasty. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. A fun vibe and a creative spin on all the dishes. We will definitely return. Thank again!“
“A small spot with counter service, and a few tables outside. This fairly priced, $21 a lobster roll, spot gives you a healthy serving of lobster both claws and tails on a perfectly toasted buttery roll. They have Maine, CT and Mass choices. They created a new category called Rillaioli, a lobster roll with varying state themed offerings. Check out the Texas. The lobster Mac and cheese was creamy, and didn't skimp on the lobster portion.“
“Always enjoy eating at The Chicken or the Egg! Famous for the wings, I think they are cooked ahead of time, then slightly reheated and slapped with some sauce when ordered. Not fresh out of the fryer, but still good. Always fun to eat here! Awesome breakfast too! The ultimate omelet is amazing! The biggest fattest wing in the LBI area, including the mainland.“
“Went to Tuckers on Easter and had the most AMAZING bartender ever John!!! He was so tentative and helpful on food recommendations! Everything from his service to the food was excellent! He is a great asset to this business and we will definitely be returning to see him, he makes delicious drinks and was a pleasure to talk to! Bravo to you John and we look forward to our next visit ??“
“Nestled on Long Beach Island, this year-round breakfast spot has become a cherished family favorite. From mouthwatering morning classics to unique twists on traditional dishes, every bite is a delight. What adds a playful touch to the experience is the hilarious pig mascot, injecting a dose of humor into the family-friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this breakfast haven offers a warm, inviting space and a menu that guarantees smiles all around. A must-visit for those who appreciate good food served with a side of laughter. Oh & When the cinnamon rolls are on the menu definitely get one!“
“This Restaurant means so much for my family and I. Ever since the first time that we came here we were hooked! Just alone the atmosphere, the joy and smiles from everyone enjoying the time. An amazing staff that is ready to greet you and cook some really delicious seafood. With good music and drinks what else can you ask for. Thank you for your service, we truly appreciate it. The Padilla Family.“
“My favorite place on the island! The atmosphere is welcoming, kind, truly beachy. The staff is my favorite, exteremly caring and makes you feel like an old friend. The food never fails to leave me satisfied. Simple and tasty. What more could you ask for? If you’re looking for a tasty hidden gem, go to bowkers.“
“Was here last week with ten of us. We all ordered food and everything was spot on. I was surprised that the wait was minimal. My Mahi sandwich was very good. Every bar in lbi is a bit pricey but they only have a 10 week window to make money, so keep it in mind. I ll be back , hopefully soon“
“Just had a terrific lunch on the outside patio of the Gazebo. Fast and pleasant service in an attractive setting. The tuna tacos were about the best I have ever tasted and a very generous serving. The fries were also seriously delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dawn, who was extremely delightful and friendly. A perfect lunch on a drizzly day! Thank you again and keep on traveling!“
“My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in LBI and were scouring where to eat on a quiet February night. A Yelp search led us to the Delaware Avenue oyster house. When we walked in you would have thought it was the middle of summer because this place was hoppin! Always a great sign if you ask me. We waited about ten minutes for a table. This restaurant is mostly just a large bar with a few tables near the windows. It's really cozy and has a fun vibe. Everyone was immersed in conversation and looked like they were having a great time. They have a really great menu with plenty of variety. We started with the fish tacos and the crab fried rice. As I write this I'm still dreaming of this crab fried rice....it was THAT good. The couple next to us referred to it as crack fried rice and I can totally see why. So much flavor and a nice amount of crab!! We then finished up with a pizza as true NJ residents do. It was thin and crispy and perfect. I can't wait to come back in the summer! They seem to do some nice happy hour specials so I'm looking forward to giving them a try!“
“I can't believe we haven't been to Buckalew's before, but last night was our first. And we will be back. Great appy's, soup, and dinners. Our server was super fun and the vibe of the entire restaurant - with a guitar duet playing some great music - was terrific. PS Don't miss the Brussel Sprouts appetizer - excellent!“
“Every thing was great from food to service sorry I forgot servers name but she was fantastic. ..only reason didn't give five stars is I want to go backOk I went back...will now be one of those places that is a must go ..when on the island.“
“This is about the 5th time we dined there. Everything was perfect!! This is FINE DINING!! Not your average restaurant. Food is prepared to perfection, beautiful atmosphere and they treat you like a King and Queen. I can't recommend The Gables enough!! Just excellent.“
