“I always wanted to try this place, cute fifties vibe at the front entrance, lots of fifties memorabilia on the walls inside. Black and white checkered flooring. It is not a huge place but they were plenty busy when my spouse and I visited for lunch. Waitresses were nice, we sat at a small counter there. There are booths along both sides of the wall.I have to say that we were both surprised by the food quality for the price. I had a mushroom Swiss burger, my spouse a classic cheese burger. They were a good sized burger, delicious french fries, small side of coleslaw, pickle, lettuce and two slices of tomato (who does that anymore?) The unexpected surprise was two onion rings. I have to say, its the little things that sets a place apart. Those onion rings were delicious, in fact our whole meal was. I will definitely visit againThey have a giant menu, since I like to do reviews, I had to mention that. They put up a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings. It smelled so good I wish I had ordered that, but I will try it another time. Breakfast was still being served the patron to my right had a ample plate of scrambled eggs, toast, and home fried potatoes. Looked awesome. The only con I noticed was that the air vents needed to be cleaned, other than that, this place is a hidden gem in the Manchester plaza. ❤️☕❤️☕❤️“
“I made reservations for my family who came out for my cousins wedding on Saturday. Sunday I called Martucci's to make reservations to take my family there for lunch. I have gone there for before with a big crowd to celebrate other birthdays. My family hasn't been together for many years. My 91 year old Pop, his brother Joe 90, my Aunt Ro 83 and my Aunt Maryann 78 and all of us went to Martucci.I want to give a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE MARTUCCI FAMILY. The food is great the girls who waited on us A+ all the way! Thank all of you for making our family reunion that much more special! God bless! ?“
“Hands down the best spot to buy raw seafood! I have tried everything they have sold and it is the most fresh seafood you could every buy without catching it yourself! I always make a special trip for their lobster bisque as well!!! It's exceptional !“
“Delicious! Rustic comfy atmosphere. Has karaoke nights. Bingo. Nice place to go wither it be for a date, friends getting together for lunch dinner. Love their hamburgers, great fries. You will not be disappointed. I definitely recommend you try it yourself to see. Bon appetite!“
“coming back from a work trip decided to stop in for a quick bite, ended up staying for 2 hours just enjoying the place!! great food as always. and above average customer service for this Manchester location. I got a burger with jalapeno's and 2 miller lites and a few more appetizers as the night went on. when ever im in the area ill drop in again for sure. 5/5stars“
“What an amazing experience we had for our anniversary! The DJ was amazing and his name was DJ Bobby, he loves Michael Jackson and loves to interact with the crowd. The waiter and waitresses were very nice and attentive. It was a shame the weather was very rainy but we made the best of it. Also, the food was okay and the pasta was very mushy and inedible. They explained they don't normally get it catered from Capone's but it was the only place available for the last sail for the season. Besides the food, everything else was absolutely amazing!“
“Sandy's is truly Cozy and has all the breakfast comfort foods. Great service too!! Our group had the Skillets and you can't go wrong with any of the options. Has to be some of the best coffee I've had and biscuits to die for - buttered, toasted, light and flavorful. We will be back.“
“Ok, I came yesterday and it was amazing. Teas and Lattes are great. (Not trues coffee yet).Today this Mango Checken Nacho [and in Hate Mango, but mom insisted]... Amazing! I like Mango now.Visit #3 - got the special veggies Buffalo wrap! ? this is amazing! And the Avocado Tofu Scamble toast which I give it an 8. (I'd change 2 things to make it 10 in my book, 1. Heat the plate to prevent toast from cooling down. 2. Spread the toppings to be mixed and not three separate)Atmosphere: seats are too hard, and straight backed. The menu alone is reason to, but it's just not comfortable. Too much hookah art LOL.“
“It was a bit hard to find the restaurant (for an out of towner) in the dark, as there is no signage facing the street and the property includes a catering hall. We parked at the wrong side of the facility and went into the catering hall. One of the waiters directed us to the restaurant, whose entrance was on the other side. The ambiance is nice there - dimmed lighting and modern furniture. After we ordered, the service was a bit slow. The portions were generous and tasty. The Chicken Marsela was delicious but overcooked and the edges were chewy. It needed 5 minutes less cook time.“
“this was my first time here with my mother and it won't be our last! we had such a great brunch date for her birthday and our waiter was outstanding and hilarious! we loved being there in our jammies! thank you for the laughs and the delicious foods.“
“Miss old-fashioned Jersey shore breakfast? Look no further than Poppy’s. Run by Tina with Poppy (named by their grandson) in the kitchen. Their lunches are as good as their breakfasts! The prices are unbelievable! And sandwiches come with soup or fries. (Get their soups, incredible and all homemade.) they have an extensive list of daily specials all under $13.95 (including the soup.Huge menu. Their meatballs and gravy are homemade, so is their coleslaw and tartar sauce. Service is great. After 40 yrs in the restaurant biz, they know how to do it right! They have a fun 50’s theme with Elvis memorabilia. Even the bathroom have fun 50’s decor. But number 1, to die for, is their homefroes. Sliced thin with onions (on request), super crispy! The best I’ve ever had!!!Drop by for Jersey food cooked by Italian-Americans! Can’t get better than that!Say “hi” to Tina for me.It closes at 3pm, so come early!!!“
“Nice spot in downtown Toms River. Really nice staff, extensive menu with good variety, and in our four visits, have not had one dish we didn't enjoy. Quickly becoming our go to spot to stop in for a nice meal or get take out.Parking: Depending on time of visit, local street parking can be somewhat difficult“
“Friendly staff, locals eat there often. Recently, cucumbers changed - bitter, fries are smaller and not fresh tasting, Cole slaw tastes different, and cream cheese switched from Philadelphia to a "spread." The entrees are delicious! Try the stew, Salmon, and more.“
“This was our first time visiting Turning Point and we were pleasantly surprised. This location is new. The staff and service were excellent. Our server David was wonderful. He appeared to actually like his job which is hard these days working in the service and restaurant industry. Our food came out hot which when you have eggs it it means that it was sent to our table immediately after being prepared and not sitting under a hot lamp. The food tastes fresh and delicious. We for the The GOAT omelet and Huevos Rancheros. We would both order them again. The menu isn’t large like a diner but selections cover everything you would want for a breakfast or Brunch. Coffee was made free and a carafe left at the table which is nice so you don’t wait for a refill from a sever. Lunch menu small but they have salads and sandwiches which all look great. I would definitely go back to this location. We went on a Saturday a little after 10am and there was no wait. Prices are the same as a diner but exceed the quality and definitely the service.“
“On the price:value axis, this place has it going ON.The carbonara I got wasn't a true carbonara, more an Alfredo with bacon, but honestly I like my pasta saucy so no complaints here!It was delicious. Portions fabulous. For the $20 I paid, I got 2 meals of pasta. My waitress was busy AF but on point. She always glanced at me as she passed and knew what I needed and just kept the flow going. Wish I knew her name. Thank you ?Busy, vibrant, fun spot. The kind of place you walk in a stranger and walk out with a new bar buddy.“
