“Great pizza. I love the $11 cheese pie special on Mondays. I thought economical pizza prices had disappeared forever after the pandemic. “Recently enjoyed a business lunch at this wonderful restaurant. I had the chicken parmigiana which was perfectly cooked and served with linguini. The fresh filet was wonderfully thin and the breading was light and crisp. The entree was served with a choice of soup or salad. I had the soup - a beef barley that was kitchen crafted with a thick broth that was rich in flavor. Others at our table sampled differing items on the menu. All were authentic and presented well.I would strongly recommend going out of your way for this fine restaurant.“

The food was amazing, wonderful, outstanding, and they were able to tweak things on the spot for my family members with allergies.I didn't have a problem with one of the servers dropping and breaking the plate with something. It can happen to anyone. I was not happy though that he didn't notice (didn't check to notice) that so of the spilled food got onto people's (children's) shoes. Ok, it happens as well, he didn't realize.What I didn't like was that while people were still sitting at tables and talking, they started cleaning up. Not empty plaltes but water glasses, napkins.... The person sitting next to me (the one who was paying the bill, I e. organized the event, chose the place and gave them business) was approached three times during the speech whether she was done with her main course. She said no three times, but on the fourth she said ok, fine take it away.One more: the servers barely smiled. “Seafood Combo w/white sauce was very good and plentiful abbondanza!Boscaiola was very good also, had a few pizza’s from here, so far not to bad, solid 7.2 if using the barstool scoring system, cheese steak was not bad, I could eat them with no issues, cold sub was good but the bread I got it on was not my style of sub roll, will try again to see if it was a one time thing. “This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It lies in a small strip mall in Whiting NJ. The only deficit are the empty stores surrounding it. It has become my father's favorite place to order his Italian food. We made reservations 2 weeks ago for eight people and an infant to celebrate my dad's 88th, my 2 daughters 30th & 26th birthdays. We all drove 2 hours from northern NJ & southeastern PA in the pouring rain March 23rd to enjoy the afternoon together. The staff was incredible, from Joey who greeted me, to Erica our server, Theresa and Isabella whom I made reservations with. The best was yet to come. The appetizers, salad, and soups were just the beginning. The dinners we all ordered were exquisitely prepared as if we were in NYC or Philadelphia. If you haven't eaten there or tried an entree our family strongly suggests you do. Most importantly my dad met his great grandson for the 1st time. Oh, I had the Tilapia Trio with linguine. The sauce is not runny and tastes fresh. The meat was tender. Their portion size is large. The chicken was one large piece. Not 2 very small pieces hidden under a lot of cheese and sauce. The gentlemen that were running it were very friendly. It is a small store with great food and service. The serve a variety of food from pizza, calzones and heroes. The store is well lit and clean.“
