“Fantastic family owned and operated Italian Restaurant. Delicious menu and even if you want something special, they will always try to accommodate you. The owner,Orlando is the chef along with his wife, and if he's not swamped, will come out and greet his guests( many of who he knows by name) The portions are generous , the appetizers are yummy, and the homemade bread is to die for. His son Pasquale is the pizza chef and his pizzas are the best around as far as I'm concerned. The crust is firm and crispy around the edges. The sauce , cheese and toppings are fresh and abundant and they are light and DELICIOUS and you don't want to stop eating slice after slice !!!! My family's favorite Go To place. Try the fried calamari, the muscles in marinara sauce. All the pastas are great as well as any meat or fish dish. My favorite Eggplant Parmigian over anywhere !!!!“

“Recently enjoyed a business lunch at this wonderful restaurant. I had the chicken parmigiana which was perfectly cooked and served with linguini. The fresh filet was wonderfully thin and the breading was light and crisp. The entree was served with a choice of soup or salad. I had the soup - a beef barley that was kitchen crafted with a thick broth that was rich in flavor. Others at our table sampled differing items on the menu. All were authentic and presented well.I would strongly recommend going out of your way for this fine restaurant.“

The food was amazing, wonderful, outstanding, and they were able to tweak things on the spot for my family members with allergies.I didn't have a problem with one of the servers dropping and breaking the plate with something. It can happen to anyone. I was not happy though that he didn't notice (didn't check to notice) that so of the spilled food got onto people's (children's) shoes. Ok, it happens as well, he didn't realize.What I didn't like was that while people were still sitting at tables and talking, they started cleaning up. Not empty plaltes but water glasses, napkins.... The person sitting next to me (the one who was paying the bill, I e. organized the event, chose the place and gave them business) was approached three times during the speech whether she was done with her main course. She said no three times, but on the fourth she said ok, fine take it away.One more: the servers barely smiled. We wanted to speak with someone to make some adjustments to our order. We got the uoside down square pie which was delicious. Also had to try one slice of regular pizza when I was there. “The only thing ive ever ordered from here was pizza unfortunately so i cant rate on anything else. Its a little inconsistent. Some days its thin pizza other days its chunky/doughy. But they are the only ones to make it when you fold it in half it freaking stays straight and doesnt droop or go limp. Thats FANTASTIC. “Excellent dishes, super friendly staff, and the best spot for a classic plain pizza and garlic knots in Jackson by a long shot. Sauce is a 10/10, the ONLY downside for me personally is they use breaded mozzarella sticks instead of battetered but to each their own.Parking: Large parking lot, plenty of spaces.“

“I’m Italian and very picky! Veal Parm and Beef ShortRibs Ragu amongst other entrees are delicious! Just in Nov. my family ate there 2 nights in a row! Only thing I wish is they did catering. So many people I know are always looking for a great caterer nearby , including for Clubhouse dances. We had to go all the way to Brick to have it catered. I couldn’t check off both boxes but our entrees were between 19.00 and 30.00.“

“This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It lies in a small strip mall in Whiting NJ. The only deficit are the empty stores surrounding it. It has become my father's favorite place to order his Italian food. We made reservations 2 weeks ago for eight people and an infant to celebrate my dad's 88th, my 2 daughters 30th & 26th birthdays. We all drove 2 hours from northern NJ & southeastern PA in the pouring rain March 23rd to enjoy the afternoon together. The staff was incredible, from Joey who greeted me, to Erica our server, Theresa and Isabella whom I made reservations with. The best was yet to come. The appetizers, salad, and soups were just the beginning. The dinners we all ordered were exquisitely prepared as if we were in NYC or Philadelphia. If you haven't eaten there or tried an entree our family strongly suggests you do. Most importantly my dad met his great grandson for the 1st time. Oh, I had the Tilapia Trio with linguine.
