Not only the beer is good, the vibe is awesome, this place is a cozy little brewery house where the owners Beth and Chris make you feel right at home; they have a vast selection of different beer styles as well as free peanut and a tv to watch the Phillies during the season. “Well, this was quite a find. A must try for Thai lovers. Brand new place. We tried three duck dishes (pinapple, ginger, soup), tofu pad thai, and peanut chicken, all delicious and found in gorgeous ceremic plates. Service was impeccably attentive.”

I can't say for sure but Merchantville should be proud to have this level of dining available, even if it is only three nights a week. The Maître d' Josh is accommodating and key to ensuring that your experience is delightful. Overall original and exciting meals await your presence.”

“I found this little restaurant by accident one day, and let me tell you, the food is unbelievably good. The Owner Miss Rosa and the staff will treat you like family, the service the food and the atmosphere is top notch, if you craving good authentic Mexican food around the area you must stop here. “Our family has really been enjoying the food at Grand China. We love their Chicken Sticks! They are the best we've ever had. They're always cooked perfectly and are never dried out lie some other places. We also love their Chicken With Broccoli, Beef With Mushrooms, General Tso's Chicken and their Sesame Beef. We'd never had Sesame Beef before so we were excited to try it. It's amazing! The beef is so tender. We've honestly enjoyed everything we've tried so far. Grand China is a definite keeper on our places to order from list.”

“We came here during restaurant week, and the servings are just enough for each member of the group to try. This restaurant serves great food that makes you want to appreciate every bite. Sampan is linked, and this location is typically busy. Since the dining room was downstairs, there was a kind of nice corridor leading to it. You and your group can choose from a small variety of dishes to share at the table during restaurant week, with some items having an additional fee. There was a stronger romantic vibe. Here, the Kobe beef is a great choice.”

“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.”

“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”

“Pretty good experience! There was a little bit of a mix up with what we ordered but they instantly took care of it and got us the rest of our food. Some of the food was hit or miss. The broll, Bloc party, Hijiki, and e I shumai was great but I didn't really like the chashu because it was a bit gummy and the wings were not my favorite. But other than that, it was all great. I will definitely come back soon to try more things :)”

“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”
