Gave us a very good first impression of this place.The service could be improved. The first 10 minutes we sat down, no one stopped by for water or introduction. The server was okay when he was presented in the area. However he would occasionally disappear for quite long time. We waited pretty long for our check and had to have someone else give us the check. After the long waiting, we saw a sprite we didn’t order appeared on the bill. He was able to take it off, but with the waiting we were a little bit out of patience.In summary, definitely will come back and recommend this place. It’s perfect for casual lunch when you don’t know what you want.“

“amazing irish dance i screamed and cried the whole time it was the best night of my life. “this place is kind of fire” -my roommate theodore gretz. i didn’t order the wings but my roommates did and i ate the celery with the sauce and it was really very yummy i also got a half guiness half cider which is very cool but i won’t be ordering again. the cocktail i wanted was $14 so. beggars can’t be choosers. feeling like i’m in it’s always sunny. i also really like the table plant. go here it’s great!“

There are parking garage around the block because Bar-Ly is located right across from the convention center and diagonal from Reading terminal.This is definitely a to-go place if you and your group would like to find a place to chill or gather to watch a sport game. Not only do they have their own bar, but also have a wide variety of food on their menu! Running from Viet cuisine to sushi to pizza and wings! The vibe is just energetic once you step your foot in, especially during a sport game like the Superbowl! But I would suggest make early reservations during those big game nights. There is also a party room available for guests to book for a party.Food & Drinks: I tried their wings with mango habanero sauce, salmon pizza, and one of their drink with lychee and ginger beer that I can’t recall right off my head. The drink was pretty good. Salmon pizza was wonderful. The wings, on the other hand, I feel are a bit too dry and not enough sauce. Everything else was definitely not bad at all.“
“Perfect neighborhood gem. Gastropub food is just delicious. Wide variety of food options as well as a terrific beer selection. Through the pub and then a doorway into the "house" next door is a very cozy two floor (maybe three?)experience, a house turned into an eating area, also a surprise pinball machine corner and televisions on both floors. Very unique, very comfortable. You just want to hang there all night as if it were your own house. Love it“
“Came in to watch the game and was surprised by the food and service. Lo my bartender was very patient and courteous throughout. I had the dry rub ranch wings OMG! Crunchy and seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great dipping sauce as well which added to the layers of flavor. My burger was the Swiss with bacon and a variety of mouth watery inclusions. Smash burger seasoned just right. I tried the love hazy IPA and it paired wonderfully. “As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was all around a great experience! Definitely make Sidecar Bar your next Philly food destination!“

“Came here two nights in a row on a business trip at the beginning of December. We had 8 people in our party and the staff did a wonderful job taking care of us swiftly and without error during the busy weekend service. Drinks, apps, entrees were all fantastic, and the wings were some of the best I’ve had. Atmosphere was great, and seeing as I’m still an emo kid at heart I was a big fan of the music selections the nights that we were there. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive, additionally the wings were great. “Met up with a friend for dinner and really like the ambiance of this place. Gives a really chill, laid-back vibe and they have some great food and drink choices with friendly staff. I ordered the Grilled Hangar Steak which came with chimichurri and green beans and it was the right amount of food. I feel like all the beers from local breweries are refreshing, but if you’re in the mood for a cocktail definitely try the Penicillin. Look forward to my next visit.“

“Been here twice on a Friday night and food has always been fantastic. Only complaint is that they sat us in the non-dining room area side where a live band was playing. Very loud to the point it's hard to communicate at your table. We also had a child with us. I noticed there were more children on this side, so not sure why they decided to seat parties with kids on this side with the live band. My wife and daughter were also cold since it's more of an enclosed outdoor dining area with ceiling fans running in January and February. Will continue to come here, but next time I'll request the main dining room.Parking: Two parking areas. The smaller one closest to NJ-38 is a one way.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available with Crayons.“

“Been going here for about two years. Delightful neighborhood bar with great prices, friendly staff, good food with a rotating menu (always try the grilled cheese special), and a great tavern vibe. Pool upstairs (if you’re lucky enough to get there first). I’ve since moved out of the neighborhood to Point Breeze, but my friends and I still make the hike over to Watkins at least once a week because that’s how much we love this place. This is the stuff!“
