“I came in for The Big Meal Deal the other night. I was seated in no time at all with a great view of the big screen TV. Minutes later a young lady named Maddy came over and introduced herself and asked if I would like to order a beverage. I ordered my beverage and my meal at the same time . Maddy then inquired if I would be interested in an appetizer. I do like buffalo wings so I ordered them as a starter. My beverage was delivered to my table very quickly by Maddy. She returned with the buffalo wings at almost an unbelievable short wait, I was offered ranch and bleu cheese for dipping and wet naps and napkins for my hands. To my surprise my bacon cheese burger came out exactly as ordered medium rare. (Nice Tender And Juicy) I expect to return to the Middletown Applebee`s in the very near future. I will be asking to be seated in Maddy`s section and I suggest you do the same. Maddy is very professional and treats you with a fun, friendly, attentive and respectful personality !!!”

“My first time here and was pleasantly surprised !!!! Probably the best bar food I have ever had.

Parking: Plenty of free parking. Can run into a few other stores as well and not have to move your vehicle.”

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.

“I have loved Jersey Roasters coffee since they opened a dozen years ago. Great cup for the drive to work, and on the weekends it has always been a great place to sit and enjoy a latte! I look forward to stopping by this weekend!”

“Sono has always been our go to for delicious fresh sushi. Tonight there was a delay with our pick up....it's lent. We get it - they even gave us 2 free sodas to apologize. Then 2 hours later they send us an apology text. Honesty and apologetic. Now that's a classy move!”

“It was steak night . I have to say all four of us loved our steaks . Honestly it was the best I have had in a while . The seasoning was perfect and it was cooked perfectly . We had a fun time after dinner playing shuffleboard .

“Absolutely LOVE this place! Been going since I was a student at brookdale and now that I live in Lincroft I order here at least once a week. The entire staff is so nice. If you like good pizza and a family atmosphere, this is a great spot for you!”

“Booskerdoo Middletown donated hot chocolate for our local elementary school holiday event. It was such a hit! The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! You won’t get this type of caring and desire to be a part of the local community from just any coffee spot!

Kid-friendliness: Great location for kids and a business that cares about the local community!”

“Always love the quality of the ice cream and different flavors. But because they are so popular they really need to limit the number of samples they give out and have a line for milkshakes. That would really help speed things along.”

“BEST BAKERY AROUND!!!! Ordered a custom cake for our daughter in law’s baby sprinkle. I can’t rave about it enough!! It was better than I could of imagined!! Thank you Matt for a beautiful delicious cake. Everyone was and still is raving about it!!!”

“We ordered garlic naan, chicken Tikka masala, and Matar Panir dishes. Then we also ordered the special for 2 that came with Mulligatawny soup, chicken tikka, Lamb Roganjosh, navrattan korma, seekh kebab, basmati rice, and regular naan. Plenty of food for 3 adults and 1 kid; we took home leftovers. Spice level can be customized (mild, medium or spicy). Only mild complaint is the restaurant is realy dark.”

“We have been ordering take-out from Rainbow for two years. The sushi is consistently fresh, service is excellent and delivery is quick. Today we ordered steak hibachi for the first time; it was delicious. Even our son who is a picky eater cleaned his plate!”

“I buy all my cakes from Debbie. She is great and can make anything and cakes are delicious!. My daughter wanted a Taylor Swift cake and everyone loved it. Debbie produces the best cakes , is a true artist and is just a text away!”

“Best lo mein in the area. I get mine with roast pork. This was my secondary place after House of Chong, also in Middletown, which has unfortunately been lacking lately. Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. I’ll get a picture next time, I scarfed it all down too quickly LOL.”

“I ordered dragon phoenix, vegetable lo mein, and sesame wonton, and they were all so delicious with the sesame wonton being so flavorful and the jumbo shrimp from the dragon phoenix taste so fresh and the chicken with white meat tastes so juicy and crunchy with great flavor

“I get take out from here on occasion when my regular take out place is closed. They always seem to be open and the food is pretty good. The crab ragoon is delicious.”

“my husband and I have been coming to mjs for years whether it's for a lunch date or dinner with our kids MJS never disappoints. the food is always on point, no matter what we get it is always delicious. a few top favorites chicken Italiano sandwich, their homemade thousand island dressing for salads is out of this world, french dip is the best i've ever had. ahi tuna app to dye for! if ur lucky enough to get Emma as your server or Bartender you will not be disappointed she is always so personable attentive knows the menu really well and makes a mean expresso martini! she treats our kids like gold and keeps them entertained. Mjs is a well oiled machine run by the best manager I've ever seen. Dyan's attention to detail and making the place feel so welcoming and having everything that comes out of the kitchen on point she makes sure the servers and bartenders are very well trained. if she's there working she is always there greeting the guests and helping the staff make sure every guest has an amazing experience.She will also help you throw a sweet party and works with you to keep the price within your budget while giving you the best bang for your buck. she does an amazing job transforming the dining area into a great party space. I've had my son's christening, baby shower, birthday parties here in the dining room each time Dyan has gone above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. whether you are considering having a party or going to dinner or lunch do not pass MJS in Middletown up you will not regret it. & if you want a fun night out- Monday night bingo is always a hit or looking for something to do during NFL Sunday game day head to mjs it is an amazing atmosphere and great specials!”

“I love this place, authentic Taiwanese food only 10 minutes away. Take out only, have come here many times. The beef noodle soup is fantastic, both the spicy braised beef soup and “Vietnamese style”. The pickled and thickened soups are very good as well. San Bei Ji (Three Cup Chicken) is one of my favorite dishes and the version here is pretty good. The prices are very reasonable. Yes, the food is sold out the back of a bowling alley. Don’t mind that, it’s great takeout and I’m glad they’ve stayed open after the pandemic. Hours posted on Google are off - I think they open at 5 pm.”

Provided large pumpkin shaped , orange icing cookie to sample. It tasted lemon or orange like that was ok but did not like the icing or cookie in general.”

“By far my favorite local Dunkin' donuts! It's always crowded, but they are very quick super friendly and always happy every single day. I honestly wouldn't go to a different one that was closer and more convenient for me just because the staff there is so nice. They've also never not had something I've asked for which is kind of rare a Dunkin' Donuts these days a nice to have a reliable option. As far as Dunkin' Donuts go, this is the number one Monmouth County location!

“I love Starbucks this particular location is extremely busy and I think management needs more employees. I feel bad for the employees they look stressed and are running and working the hardest and the best they can. They are doing a great job for the amount of volume of customers coming in”
