Food is very good. All the fish and everything was super fresh. Got the salmon tataki, beef sashimi, a couple of rolls and the beef sukiyaki. Would definitely recommend the beef sashimi, it's very fresh. The sukiyaki was also a huge portion! Would also recommend the spicy scallop hand roll! The service was really good! The staff is super attentative and kind.

Shared sushi/sashimi dinner for 2. Nice boat and fish presented artistically and nicely sliced. Glad to see dining room is open again. The best part is no additional fee for using credit card. Restaurants in the area started adding fees but not Sono. I will make them my goto place for sushi.

Extremely friendly and helpful service! The food was delicious and everything was reasonably priced. The atmosphere and decorations were very nice. Indoor dining is by reservation only right now and they're very accommodating.

A friend and I came here for a pre-concert meal looking for a place in close proximity to the PNC Arts center. The sushi was fresh and creative. Service was prompt and friendly.They don't have too many tables but they do take reservations. They do a very brisk take out business. I would like to return when the sushi bar reopens and we can do omakase and talk with the sushi chefs.

Sono has the best sushi in area for sure! It is always fresh. Our favorites are the Jalapeño roll, New York Roll, White Swan and Juliet. Our kids love the bento box. The sashimi is always fantastic. The owners who are always kind and helpful. So glad they were able to make it through the pandemic shut down!!

Overall ok, but avoid the Sashimi. They cut the salmon and tuna in thin, long strips which increases the surface for microbial growth and makes the pieces dry out, and due to size not convenient to eat. Considering the weight of fish you get, the price is high.
