“Excellent food and outstanding staff. Our server was Jen and she couldn’t have been nicer. My nephew, Max Clayton, is performing in White Christmas at the Papermill. We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) They were just as nice when we came back after the play just to sit and have drinks. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are all most appreciative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I don’t know why it took us so long to get here but we’re in SO for past 20’ish years and finally made it to this little spot in Millburn. Ordered sandwiches with prosciutto, moz and peppers and greens and it was fantastic… looking forward to coming back”

“Do not patronize this restaurant . I had a $14.00 balance of a gift card that we spent $126.00 on NewYears Eve. $14.00 balance. After ordering a sandwich I was told that the card was invalid. “I ordered a graduation cake online. When I picked it up and saw it, it was so beautiful. It was the talk of the party! It was not like a typical dry bakery cake. It was so moist and delicious! It was ALL chocolate. I would highly recommend splurge bakery for your customized cake needs!”

“The food was great; my wife had sushi, which was very fresh, as expected from a Japanese restaurant. I had some noodles with beef, which were also great! The prices are a bit more expensive, but any good sushi place is expensive, plus it's a restaurant. The staff was great and helpful!”

“Great quality bread, pastries and dips, but the coffee is on the pricier side. A large filter coffee was over $6 and was rather small so not sure if I was given the wrong cup. Highly recommend the cheese and mushroom croissant and labneh though!”

On the day of the event, the tables were set perfectly, the space was great for mingling and comfortable for eating, the servers were on top of everything, and our guests are still raving about the food. “Quite a delightful place very cozy and I felt like I was back in mainland China. The scallion pancake really topped the experience for me not just crispy, but sold and fluffy on the inside. Since I found it, it has become a staple in my life. “I'm so grateful that the original owners are back. I take the train to NY weekly, and get my morning breakfast and sometimes my lunch. Coffee is fresh, many choices for bagels and the fillings. The sandwiches are amazing. More so by the newest worker AJ. His sandwiches are the best and almost looks too good to eat. I was not happy with the previous owner, but I'm glad once again. “I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. I’ll definitely be trying other flavors.”
