Girls night out for a friend's birthday was a great time. Stephen S was our waiter and he was a sweetheart who was very attentive and personable. Food and drinks were delish. Dessert was soooo good. Cheese cake and chocolate cake recommended. Put sparklers in for the birthday girl—so fun!Would definitely go back.

I hosted my husband's 41st birthday at Moonshine Supper Club, this past weekend. From the time we began coordinating with the owner until the time we left the service was absolutely exceptional! The owner was very accommodating. And so was the staff! They went above and beyond to accommodate us. And a very special shout out to our waiter Steve. He was absolutely amazing super personable, friendly and , like the rest of the staff, very accommodating! He definitely made us feel welcome. The music was great, the food was top tier, the whole place was just a vibe all around! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Thank you again Steve & Vic for everything!!!

I haven't been to Moonshine in a long time so I decided to try it. The restaurant is dated and dusty. The bathrooms are old and dirty. The food was pretty good but the presentation was awful. Too much food on the plates makes the dishes look overwhelming. I was served cheesecake in a bowl making it difficult to eat. The waiter was a young man who was very attentive and had a great personality.

Booked a last minute valentine's dinner through open table. Due to an emergency, had to cancel and called about 30 minutes after placing my reservation. They charged me $300 dollars (!!!) for this cancellation. Extremely unethical.

Went here for a valentine’s day dinner. The place itself was beautiful -dimmed lighting and beautiful decor. But the tables were sooo tight and close together, I could hear the entire conversation the couple next to us was having.Service was sooooo slow. Not sure if it was because of the holiday or what but it took over 30 mins to get JUST our drinks and bread for the table. I think our waiter was new. Anyway, the food was just OK, especially for the price.Wouldn’t come back.

Highs and lows. Some really tasty starters, though the octopus was very tough/chewy. We ordered a side of Brussels sprouts, but asparagus came out instead. When we pointed out the error, they sent out the Brussels sprouts late, but then charged us for the “new side order.” Good start to the meal, but that left a bad taste in our mouth.

Moonshine has a really cool vibe. The layout and decor is perfect. I celebrated my birthday here and would love to go back. Brunch was delicious. I highly recommend the Nutella crepes. Also, the moonshine burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve had in a while.Desserts (warm cookie dough & peanut butter mousse) were incredible too and they came out with sparkler candles to celebrate.Our waiter was extremely nice and the overall service was great. It was a lot of food and after 3 courses we left very full. Everything was awesome and I can’t wait to try more items on the menu soon!

Haven't been here in a long time and took advantage of Millburn Restaurant Week prix fixe menu for dinner. Very pleased with our decision. Dishes were creative and very satisfying. Cocktails adventurous too. An overall well rounded experinece. Had some reservations being seated next to the kitchen space but found the flashes of fire from the grill entertaining at times.
It is alarming what happened to me after dining at Moonshine. I paid the bill, left a 30% tip and later discovered a larger tip had been added to the total without my consent. I wouldn't have even noticed the additional tip added afterwards if it wasn't a tip of 100% of the total. Yes, a 100% tip. Despite the efforts made to resolve the issue politely over the phone, the owner called back to escalate the situation in an unprofessional and hostile manner loudly yelling, calling me names and mocking the situation. He was extremely aggressive and demanded that if I wanted my money back that I needed to come and pick it up in person. This post is to encourage others to be cautious when dining at Moonshine and to be vigilant about any unexpected charges afterwards. I hope this establishment will improve its practices in the future. Whether the additional tip added was $20 or $200, it is still unacceptable.

An amazing hole in the wall in Millburn, another great restaurant, hidden away that needs to be discovered! The specials are absolutely incredible both containing ropa Vieja yum!The Mediterranean guacamole was incredible, and so was the salmon! And you cannot go wrong with any of the incredible drinks. Oh, and get the bread pudding, that is a must!!!
