“The food is great. You can make customizations to your order and there is a comfortable lounge area while you wait. Beware that there are few employees and if they are currently working on a previous order they will finish that before serving you, aka their may be a 5+ minute wait before they even ask you what you want, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable so i would say it is worth it.“
“If Top Shelf is at an event, I will order there rather than one of the other trucks. In all the years of ordering, I have never had something I was not happy with. Food is always delicious and is a step above other offerings. Wait times are contingent upon how hefty the crowd is that day. I always factor that in and it has not been a problem for me.“
“Me and the family used to go to Olive Garden every few weeks after watching a movie at 14th Street Union Square. There was an Olive Garden on 23rd. This was our go to, we celebrated group birthdays here. Then it got too expensive and we stopped going.While on vacation we saw one and everyone was down to go. We were seated and the 1st thing to arrive were the bread sticks. So buttery and dusted with garlic and cheese and warm. We ordered our apps and entrees and the next delivery was the salad. This is a large communal salad that has everything and cheese mixed in. Olives and peppers are non-grata, but everything else is fine. “Excellent little restaurant with a very nice table setup and bring you a large bottle of water.The food was delicious! Excellent job of not spicing my wife's order, while mine was plenty spicy. The rice was cooked incredibly well.We ended up visiting when there was a birthday party meeting, so that made the small space pretty loud, but that was nothing they could control and it was nice to see it well loved.They had live music, which was interesting. It sounded like new age ambient music you'd hear in a spa maybe? Didn't seem to match the mood, but I'm wondering if they were hired by the birthday party.The TVs showed a bunch of Indian rap music videos. Probably the biggest thing we didn't like about the visit, but easily ignored.Price is a little high, but was well made and authentic which helps make up for it. Definitely planning to visit again and try more dishes!“
