What a fun place and the drinks were delish. The only thing was that there were not too many veggie options. But whatever was there, was delish! They made fresh guac by your table side! So good!

My friends and I came here on a Friday with a 7:45p reservation with high expectations as Nom came highly recommended. When we arrived, we had a 15 minute wait for our reservation and were only sat faster because 2 people in our party couldn’t make it. We ordered drinks and apps, the margs were really good and the queso and yucca fries were also pretty good.The table side guac is absolutely not worth the money, literally tasted like avocado with the slightest hint of lime. Everyone got separate entrees, 3/6 were bland or cold or both. I got the vegetarian quesadilla which I know vegetarian food can be hit or miss, but it was 90% warm slaw which was bitter and slimey and overpowered anything else in the quesadilla. One entree was the fried fish tacos which were ice cold and another was a chicken burrito- the chicken was bone dry and unseasoned and the burrito literally only had unseasoned rice and chicken in it with more bland guacamole on top of it. I sent my entree back which they took off the bill, but wasn’t offered to order anything else :( by the time we saw our waitress again, everyone was so over the whole ordeal no one wanted dessert. The sides that came with the entree literally looked like microwave bag unseasoned rice and black beans right out of the can. Save your money and go somewhere else, the only thing worth $ here is the drinks!

One and done type of place. We were told upon arrival with no reservation that we could be seated if we left at a certain time. The place was 25% occupied so I assumed staffing issues. The food was mediocre. Carne asada was not tender and the drinks were heavy on syrup. The atmosphere feels cluttered with too many tables on top of each other and narrow pathways to walk. The service was very lacking and took a long time to even get a check to leave. Bring cash unless you're okay with sitting twenty minutes to get a check and then another who knows how long to get your card taken.

Our server davie was awesome- my son has a few allergies (dairy, egg, and nut) and made sure all of the food we ordered was safe for him to eat. We really appreciated it, especially that he checked up on us asking if he was safe once the food came out. Little things like that I’ve really come to appreciate at restaurants and make our experience so much better. Definitely adding Nom to the list of restaurants to visit again. I hate to post a bad review about Nom, however this is most definitely warranted. We’ve been to Nom twice before with and also without a a reservation and were able to be served both times. Other family members of ours go at least once a month and we have never had an issue.Last night we decided to try our luck with no expectations of getting a table on a Saturday night without a reservation and would have been happy just sitting at the bar when room became available. We went up to the hostess stand and were told it would be an hour wait, but “we can’t put your name down”. Someone please explain how that makes any sense? They also had plenty of empty tables, but I understand that those were probably being held for reservations that were made.So we sat at the bar right next to the hostess stand waiting for the two other people in our party to arrive. As we are sitting there deciding on a drink, a group of four walked in. They very clearly stated they did not have a reservation and yet the hostess was able to seat them? Talk about supporting “pretty privilege”…After we heard that, we decided this establishment is no longer for us and went to another restaurant.Extremely disappointed as this was one of our favorite places but the reputation is now tarnished by an awful hostess.

Good drinks, good service, nice atmosphere. Wings were tiny and dry, Chicken Entree was basically just dry Chicken wings with a dollop of sauce on top, and the crunch wrap was a soggy mess with barely any filling (which was flavorless and dry, so no big loss there). The mash and corn side dish was pretty good.Overall, worst food I've had in a restaurant in a few years.

The manager, Jackie, went above and beyond for our group of 10 last night. She made sure we were taken care of, checked in on us, made sure our food and drinks orders were satisfactory . The place was very busy !! She had all hands on deck. She even took the time to help me with an issue with the parking app. I would highly recommend going back. Five Star Service from beginning to end. Thank you Jackie !!

Pretty good food and service. Classic MoTown vibe. Wish the tequila selection was a bit more top shelf. They have t had most of the hard to get bottles listed on their menu: fortaleza, G4, tequila ocho.Still worth the trip, just temper expectations if you are hunting for additive-free tequila
