“Very friendly service. Super clean outdoor eating area with nice atmosphere. Relaxing music and games to play. Great sandwich and onion rings. Ignore the fake reviews from the anti-cancel culture crowd. Ironic that the anti-cancel culture crowd would attack a small business trying to survive like the rest of us because of a post on Facebook. Try out the food and give a real review. Anyone who actually ate at Donkey’s Place Downtown wouldnt be leaving horrible reviews. Just a great sandwich.“

“The cheesesteak and fries here are delicious. The serving sizes here are extremely generous. The chicken tenders here are better than Raising Cane’s or Freddy’s and not as expensive.Great local takeout restaurant.Parking: Free parking in the back.“

“Simple and easy. I was in and out. Love their Italian hoagies but felt like a hot dog, just plain with sauted onions. I used to go to wawa, but they never have any available. Once I found they have them, I don't waste my time trying wawa anymore. Hoagies are a good size, so we share them. But this time, I was happy to get my tasty hot dog.“

“Coming from out of the area to visit Dad's Hat. Really wanting a cheesesteak and Weekend at Bernie's did not disappoint. Some seats are available outside. It is a food stand where you may watch Bernie through the window while he makes your sandwich.Good roll, good meat, yummy veggies. “Sal’s has been my GoTo for solid pizza and sandwiches for as long as I can remember. I’m 35 and remember the days where my buddies and I would pile in for Monday All you can eat specials! I even remember sals before the fire years ago! While I normally order a plain pie or maybe pepperoni now and then, for some reason tonight I ordered the Philly Special with the request of chicken instead of beef. This pie was beyond my expectations. I enjoyed it so much. I can’t wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow for lunch! Thank you so much to everyone at Sals for my pie tonight. “Ordered through Grubhub. Food came really quick, just as ordered. The cheesesteak & fries were on point, just enough steak with American cheese on a really good roll. Fries were crisp on the outside and sofet on the inside, reminded us of the old McDonald' fries, but much better.I had the chicken gyro platter, also really good, though I paid for extra red & white sauce, and it didn't feel like there was extra.The food overall was fresh and good, we'll definitely be ordering from them again.“

“Besides getting our order wrong (we ordered sweet peppers and charged $.50), they put oil on the hoagies (asked for no oil), the meat is lousy and the rolls are not fresh. How can you call yourself a hoagie house and have terrible hoagies? I didn’t rate this a 4. I rate it a 1. Never again.“

“It was a Monday, and I was impressed by the number of people coming in for take-out. It was around 3-7 minutes of walk-ins. I like to dine in myself. A nice girl took my order and then served me, which was great! I live 35 minutes away, but it was well worth the trip. I will be back!!“
