“Wonderful food and wonderful people!! Try the meatballs! My very picky very Italian man and kids rarely like anyone's meatballs and they gobbled them down! The family that works here treats everyone that walks in the door friendly and with respect. You won't be sorry you went, and you'll probably go back again.Thank you, Vanessa's Cafe for the meal!“
“It seems like a nice Italian Deli with what seems to be quality products. I went there for the first time to find those big martini olives. They have the right size olives but I bought the ones in the cold display case which still have the pits in them ?.There was a customer already there who was friendly and made it a welcoming experience. The employees were...well...working...so no warm greeting.Since the place was recommended by a few folks, I ordered a Tonno Tuna sandwhich. It contained VERY little tuna. For $10.95 I guess I was expecting at least half a can of tuna on it.I guess WaWa and Gaetano 's have my expectations too high ?. The hoagie roll was fresh and tasty so next time ( yup, next time) I'll grab the pre-made stuff.Overall not disappointed but now with a different mindset.“
“Stopped here for lunch for the first time today. Have to say that was pretty impressed. I ordered 2 slices, 1 Bacon/Chicken, Ranch, and 1 meatball. Both were awesome! The service was very good and the staff were very nice and inviting! I'll definitely be come back here when I'm in the area. Reasonably priced and very tasty!“
“We have heard nothing but amazing things about this location. Even walking in you can see all their awards displayed in the windows. The parking lot is of decent size with valet waiting if you wish to use them. The staff were very friendly opening the doors for us with friendly greetings. We were quickly brought to our table which ended up being right at a corner where both staff and customers walked back and forth. This was frustrating but not deal breaking. The ambience of the room was fantastic, for valentines day they had heart shaped balloons covering the ceiling. A live musician playing guitar and singing with a specialized menu for the week.We both ordered special drinks which were nothing to rave home about. Mine was a chocolate martini. It was neither too much alcohol or chocolate but lacked a depth of flavor I was expecting. For an appetizer we ordered the crab mest bruschetta. This was by far the best thing we had all night. The crab was delicious, well seasoned, and complimented the bread perfectly.Included in our meals were a soup or salad. They gave us both a red clam chowder. This was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. The soup was very bland with very little flavor to fill the bowl with. The meat in the soup was almost flavorless. As for our entrees she ordered shrimp stuffed with crab and wrapped in a salmon filet. I was told it was good but nothing superb or outstanding. Her entree also only included half the plate full of broccoli which seemed an odd choice. I ordered the surf and turf as I had a hankering for steak and lobster. The lobster was juicy ready to be pulled apart. Unfortunately it did not seem very fresh as I could not taste the salt from the ocean as I do at more notable seafood restaurants. The steak fell apart as I cut into it bleeding as I pushed my fork or knife into it. Again without any sauces the steak was very bland missing the flavors I expected when I bit in and the juices filled my mouth. For the price point of everything we were disappointed and expected better. If we paid less for everything it would not had been as bad. I more than likely won't come back again.“
“I’m just going to start off with woooooow this place is great!!! I came here for a date night we started off with the appetizer fried mozzarella and sesh it is great and the tomatoe sauce on the side is great then our pasta dinners came with soups and the soup did not disappoint at all and I’m not even a soup kinda guy and I liked it and the home made bread they give you when you sit down is best dinner bread I’ve ever had then for the dinner I got a chicken fettuccine Alfredo and woooow was that great stuff then I finished the night off with a delicious dessert they call peanut butter bomb and let me tell you seshhhhhh everything at this place was great no complents at all 10 outta 10“
“Past by this place numerous times and read the reviews. Finally had the opportunity to stop in. This appears to be more of a takeout type place, but they do have a small dining room. They were quick to get us seated and make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly staff. Typical pizza/Italian menu. The soup was tasty as well as the fresh garlic knots. Meatballs were delicious as was the red sauce. I had the baked ziti Bolognese and it was awesome. I will be back to try the pizza and other offerings.“
“I like this place. The pizza is consistently good and is my metric for quality. And other dishes are great. I had the sausage and peppers sandwich and Caesar salad and they were great. Finally the staff is super friendly and devoted to quality service.“
