“On Thursday August 3rd, I took my son, Stephen Waters and our family out to one of our families favorite restaurants for his 30th birthday. We had an amazing dinner, as always. The crab bisque, crab cakes and fillet were the best. My grandchildren had such fun playing on the porch as we awaited dinner. As we went to pay, some kind soul ended up paying for our entire bill. We were completely blown away by this. The person wanted to remain anonymous and so if you are seeing this, we wanted to truly thank you so much for doing that. We are beyond grateful and feel so blessed by this generosity. It is so nice to see that their are kind people in this world. Thank you!“

“Chorizo Pollo (grilled chicken,chorizo,onions, pineapple) was flavorful and portions generous. Chicken nachos were fresh and a good sized portion. Service (Jordan) was prompt and attentive without hovering. Had to park in the parking garage as this is located in a college town and streetparking is limited, but it's worth it. We'll be back.“

“I couldn't wait to write this review after eating our delicious take out. We got cheesesteaks truffle fries banging shrimp and the Gibbstown famous mozzarella sticks. Everything was amazing! I'm so full I couldn't finish all mine so have some left for a snack or for tomorrows lunch. Thanks LOCAL for giving Gibbstown a true place to get great food. “This place is a place that is guaranteed a great time . Friendly staff and hard working. The entertainment is always going on with some great music and the Dj is always getting the crowd in the mood and up on the dance floor. Saturdays at 6 there is bingo. Always booked to the max and if possible I would recommend reserving a spot at the bar or reserving a table. Always a great and interesting night of bingo with fun people and big jackpots. Try it out! After bingo it's dj the. Football and food is another thing going on. Good bar food and beyond. Always and any dish off the menu is tasty and satisfying. Nice size portions and never disappointed . One place where staff customers entertainement and kitchen all get five stars. “Recently renovated, a great spot for a dive bar, a few pool tables, plenty of TVs and the bartenders are great. If you're local definitely check it out. I've been there a few times and never had any issues and everything came out great and everyone was friendly.Parking: Definitely park across the street in the lot, they only have like 6 or so spots in front of the bar.“

“Very nice and kind of rustic inside with the brick walls and table legs made out of old piping. Nice brick oven pizza oven makes the pizza extra special. The server made a delicious raspberry iced tea which wasn't in the menu just because I ask. Food and drinks came out quick and was very good.Parking: Lots of people in the strip mall and didn't seem like much parking. Even the strip mall next door was packed.“

“We stopped by for a quick beer and to see the view. The beer is good, and the service is superb. Dana is friendly and prompt. It's hard to come by a good bartender, but she made us feel more than welcomed. We had the crab artichoke dip. It is fresh and tasty. They have great special and the view is peaceful.“

“Food is delicious ? I got the veggies fajitas and hubby got chicken fajitas. You get chips on the table when you sit. Service was a little slow with drinks and I expected more toppings and guac ? or sour cream with the fajitas but maybe that's an American thing ??‍♀️ the owner stopped by our table and took time to talk to us and tell us how he started his business.. He's very friendly and genuine. If you're ever in the area definitely stop by for a drink or meal.Vegetarian options: Only three vegetarian options ?“

“At first glance one would label John Morton's as a dive bar, however once given a shot one would find instead, a corner neighborhood bar. This bar makes me wish I were a local. So welcoming and friendly. The vibe here is high and positive. Loud music that isn't overwhelming and happy friendly faces all around. I was happily surprised with the roast beef sandwich, that although quite messy was tender and flavorful right down to the last drippy bite. The homesteader. A full long roll half pork/half beef, again dripping with juicy meat and tasty gravy. The waitstaff is personable, engaging and eager to please. Mon-Fri they offer lunch specials, and their regular prices are quite affordable.“

“Just reopened. Cute inside, loved the bar. The owner was so friendly and nice. We went early on a weekday, basically as soon as they opened. She spent a lot of time chitchatting with us. It’s a little out of our way but we will be back, because the vibe was really welcoming and comfortable.“

“I had an unplanned layover in Philly and was stuck for the night at the La Quinta Inn. All I wanted was a few beers to ease my horrible day... I walked to the gas station down the street but no luck. I found this place on Yelp and showed up an hour before they closed. The bartender (Laura? Lauren? Laurel?) was so nice and sympathetic. I ventured out back and there was a nice group of people hanging out. A few beers and shots later and I felt much better. Laura(?) the bartender even gave me a lighter that I kept for the rest of my trip. And the rest of my trip didn't get much better and I almost had another lay over in philly on the way back... I wish it had happened because I would have revisited this place!“

So, on My Dad's birthday I brought my Mom there for Clams on the Half shell, and a Fried Oyster platter. The platters were large in portion. So much so, we had platters for the next day. }“
