I've never had pizza that tasted like it did ever before. It was almost novel at first, the sweetness of the pie. But as I kept eating, the bites got better and better. Our large pie was finished in about 10 minutes, maybe less! And the shrimp cocktail was on point too. Was easy to get a seat at the Lima bean shaped bar. It was fun to sit like that. Overall, great experience. Next time I'm back in NJ I'll be seein y'all!

I wish the bar & restaurant could be rated separately but I went here this past Tuesday (4/2) about 6pm. Was served a shot from a broken glass that I thought was rimmed with salt originally but then noticed it was literally broken glass- the older male bartender was rude & inattentive for no reason. The rest of the staff was nice & the pizza is always amazing; will probably just get it to-go next time. ?

I just got a chicken cheese steak from this place, One of the best chicken cheese steaks I've ever eaten in my life. Everything was fresh, The chicken the peppers the onions and the bread were all really fresh and really tasty Excellent.
So we have been going to Pete and Elda’s for about 30 years….Love, Love, Love it! Recently we have been noticing some really Sad changes….First! They seem to rush! They rush the apps, so they aren’t even done and bring out a half cooked pizza when you’re still trying to enjoy the appetizers!Not sure why! We go to Carmen’s pizza with expectations! We happily wait a hour or so sometimes because we Love the pizza!! There is no need to rush it! Second, the fried Calamari…Always so yummy! Now it comes out and it isn’t even done, it is swimming in so much grease that’s it’s disgusting!! I would try to use napkins to absorb the grease but it’s just this soggy disgusting thing ☹️ The garlic bread with cheese, Amazing!! If only they would cook it so the cheese is melted inside!And the Pizza! You rush it instead of letting it get crispy and all melty……We are just so sad lately, We know the potential because you do it all the time..I have tried to mention some of these things to mgmt, but not sure they heard..Might be time to retire one of our Favorites

My all time favorite pizza!!! Thin cracker bar pie - SO DELICIOUS. The garlic parm wings & the cheesy garlic bread are a must. I drive over an hour to come here every few months.
