Foods always sooooo good and the people are so nice, even when I'm being a little annoying with my 13 people orders (I always get help when I have like 4 bags of foods). As a Muslim it is really hard to find good halal places that won't cost an arm and a leg, and this is is really affordable for the amount of food you are getting. I hope this place never closes. 10/10 would recommend”

Parking is not fun since you are in the heart of Rutgers. You have to hope you can snag a spot out front. The place itself is very small, no indoor seating, just order and you are on your way. Was not a cheap lunch for 2 sandwiches and some fries. Around $50 I believe. The sandwiches were good. Got the basic Cheeseteak with the Cooper Sharp. It was an exact amount of meat and cheese to fill the roll, which was soft and fresh. Was a solid Cheeseteak. The fries were very good as well. I will go back, but not out of my way. Very Good job for a new business.”

This was my second trip for dinner in two months and it exceeded all expecations, the hoilday decor transformed the second floor. The service (Regan) was on point, pleasant and efficient with out being over bearing. The meal was the single greatest pasta dish I have had in the U.S. (wild boar ravioli) Already making plans to return, if you are with in a days drive, you really have no excuse not to enjoy a meal with them.”

Even the owner Mark stopped by to check in. The room was warm, the service was impeccable and the food was excellent for all 40 guests - which is no small feat. The atmosphere reminded me of how restaurants used to be when I was a kid, growing up in NY. Top notch customer service and the icing on the cake.. food was amazing. We ordered appetizers including the baked wings and buttermilk fried calamari which was delicious. We had pasta dishes including carbonara, penne vodka and even gnocchi. All of which were amazing. “Easily a top 3 restaurant in New Brunswick. I have turned several friends and colleagues onto it.
I don't know much about authentic Chinese food, but based on what I've seen, I think this is the real deal.
What solidified it's authenticity to me is the first time I tried the mala dish - it is crazy spicy and flavorful and perfect to warm you up and clear your sinuses! The fact that it isn't toned down for American palates, to me, is an indication that they make the real deal.
Their Sichuan pork dumplings are my new comfort food.
201 and 204 are my usual orders, but the Taiwanese stewed pork with rice (503) is phenomenal; crazy tender and flavorful meat.”

Went there twice on Spring 2021 and last night, but seems like they put more Tahini in their Baba Ganoush lately because it’s got much creamier texture and less of eggplant taste than we had last year :/ Decent outdoor sitting in their backyard on warm days, the upstairs sitting room is a unique for us non Afghans, they have place for customers sitting sections (Afghan style) and they provide tables and chairs too incase you’d like to sit and dine there. Definitely would visit ‘em again!”

“Went to Japan in March and have missed the food since coming back home. Scarlet Bowls was a great find to enjoy some of the same foods we indulged in our trip. The owner is from Tokyo so it’s as authentic as you can get. We ordered the Udon, Curry Katsu, Takoyaki and Musubi. All were delicious and brought back memories of the trip. Will definitely return!”

“Great place for sushi and poke. The fish is fresh and cut for each poke bowl, sushi roll, and sushi burrito. The workers are really nice and its really close to rutgers. Theres not a whole lot of seating but most people get take out anyways so there will most likely be a seat if you wanna eat in. They have self ordering too. The fish is fresh and clean. It might be a little wait for you food but thats honestly fine because it just shows the food is fresh.”

“I’m vegetarian and for some weird reason on Uber eats there is no option to switch patties. I called the restaurant. I talked to the guy named Adarsh. He insured my order, doesn’t get any beef patties and on the special request hey switch the patty to beyond patty. I usually do this when I go to this restaurant in person and this is the only place where I eat burgers because they’re exceptionally good. Also, their aloo tiki burger is outstanding. Whoever owns this restaurant Please, please please never change the thing about this place. You got great customer service, awesome food, and very hard-working people. On our last day, after a long walk in Hudson River Park, we searched for "the best New York Style pizza near me". Artichoke was in the search, had awesome reviews, we went for the walk. We ordered two of the Sampler w Artichoke, Pepperoni, Margherita, and Sicilian. The first bite of the Artichoke was incredible 😋👏 I had to try a slice of each. So full, but so happy 😁😍🎉Thank you for giving me my first New York Style pizza experience. We will return!! 👍”
