“I took my mother to eat there on a Saturday evening, and she was happy with how they made one of her favorite dish(Mondongo). I myself was surprised how good the fresh fried Talapia tasted. The price was reasonable compared to other restaurants, and it's in the heart of New Brunswick downtown. The only downfall is in this area. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is on a tight budget as well. Big thumps up ?“
“It’s mainly a takeout place. It has a small counter like dine in area but only has four seats. It has the best jerk chicken in town and that’s all I ever had here. It also serves curry dish, snapper, and goat and oxtails for the adventurous ones.An order comes with rice and bean, cabbages, and plantain. It also has patties but those run out fast.“
“Food was very good. Had some Pernil and some special ribs. Everything was seasoned well and cooked just right. Nice to have a wide selection of all Latin dishes from many Latin countries. Service was fast since everything is already cooked.“
“This is not my first time getting food from here. The food is very good. It will always surprise me how the workers behind the counter seem to be bothered by my presence in their establishment. Each time I have approached the counter with a smile and "Hello." I get asked "Whatcha want?" I think I got a nod this last visit. This will never be an acceptable start to successful customer service. Fabulous food. Nice spot. Too bad the servers don't seem happy to be there.“
“Chicken tamales are awesome! Called in an order close to closing time and was kindly accommodated even though they were in the process of cleaning up and such (the owner was shucking corn when I came in!). I even added to the order while the initial one was being prepared without being made to feel that I was being problematic. Had a nice convo with the owner about the history of her place. Nice staff, clean facility and good food!“

“I highly recommend checking this place out. If it wasn't so far from home, I'd go frequently. We had the jerk chicken dark meat meal with rice and peas and cabbage. Chicken was flavorful, not overly spicy, and very juicy. Rice and cabbage were very good as well.We then got oxtail to go, and that was amazing. Fall off the bone and full of flavor. Good prices for what you get!!Parking: Restaurant is in a small shopping center that shares parking with other stores.“
“IGNORE ALL OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS... This restaurants Food, Energy & Efforts are all positive. The Food is ORIGINAL JAMAICAN CUISINE! Oxtails are big tender an juicy! The Rice is so good it can be eaten alone! The mix veggies gives a escovietch vibe with a tang... Last but not least the Beef Patties are 10/10 Crispy, Meaty, Not to spicy so you can eat multiple quickly... Hands down the BEST JAMAICAN RESTAURANT I've eaten from since moving to Jersey thus far!!! - And prices on Food everywhere are rising, We can't blame the last Mom & Pop food chains we have left.... Soon all that's going to be left is Mc Donald's & Walmart. #GreatFood ##1Patties #1Oxtail“
“An honor to eat food from this location and eat j*** chicken from here for the first time. The lady taking my order was incredibly gracious and helped inform me about the menu. The mac and cheese was great. The food was hot even through the bag so I knew it was fresh.“
