“Arrived on path and searched “food near me” saw the pictures of the wings and immediately decided to go here and it lived up to the rating. Everything was delicious, the wings were perfectly crunchy but still very juicy. The sauces were great with garlic parm being my favorite. The chimichurri burger was excellent and the beer batter rings were delicious. Ice cold beer would’ve took everything over the top but a jarrito was a great second choice. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area.“

“Had a few hours to kill before my flight at EWR. Looked up restaurants near the airport, found this and I’m so glad I did. Friendly staff, delicious Beyond Burger wrap w sweet potato tots, and a deeeeelish freshly made strawberry lemonade. Highly recommend! I’m keeping this place in my fav saves. If I’m ever back in Newark NJ I’m def stopping back. That drink was so perfect for the hot day!“

They are very outgoing n respectful n they want me to have a beautiful experience here which I always do "That's y I always come back. “Westayed at the Holiday Inn before our cruise and liked the convenience of an on-site bar/restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly hostess. The restaurant had great modern vibe with good music & decor. The service was on point and our food & drinks were really good! Portions were generous & prices were reasonable especially for an airport near New York. We ordered the calamari to share which was my husband's favorite. Then he ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and I ordered the Mediterranean salad added falafel & house made blue cheese dressing & they also brought the vinaigrette which I am glad they did as it really made the dish. We enjoyed all of it! Would highly recommend this place!“

“My connecting flight was at gate A15 in Newark airport. I stopped for breakfast which was delicious!! I got the brisket, egg and cheese. The brisket was smokey and very flavorful & the jalapeño green sauce, cilantro and other toppings just brought it to the next level. The restaurant next to Carlitos was charging $20-$25 for breakfast so it feels like a steal that I got my delicious breakfast for less than $10.

They have seating with outlets do you can charge your phone; very convenient since I’m at an airport & my power drained during my first flight.

I would definitely recommend Carlitos.“

“I rented here for one year and I had no issues with my apartment. I felt the price was fair for the fact that it was furnished, with all utilities included, and had a gym that I used often over the year. It is also within walking distance (7-10 minutes) to Newark Penn Station. Parking was not included but I knew this before renting. I paid $250 per month to park in a lot right across the street.

This would be a 5-star review if not for the prolonged process for receiving my security deposit which dragged out over 30 days as others have mentioned. However, Maurice the current manager communicated extremely well and kept following up until it was ultimately returned to me in full.“

“Visited the area recently and stopped in here for lunch on a weekday… this “food court” type area in Gateway One had just a few eateries and this was one of them. This and the Fresh & Co next to it seemed to be the most popular at lunch time. You use a kiosk to order, which was quick and the wait for the food wasn’t too long. It came out freshy made and hot.

The fries were crispy and really tasty crinkle cut type fries. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich I got was excellent! I got medium heat which wasn’t very spicy at all but packed with flavor. The chicken’s fried batter was gentle and very tasty, so I’m sure all their other sandwiches would be just as good.

“We missed the fact that our airline lounge was prior to security. We had 2 hours to wait and we were hungry. Samelin made our lunch memorable and far better than an airport fast food place should be!! The food was good and tasted even better with the great service.“

“Leo F. 7/13/2024 Heading to the Janet Jackson concert last week, with a couple of friends and discovered this great spot. Decided to drop in for a drink and a small bite. Great atmosphere and the Service was great as well. My bartender, Sara was welcoming, warm and quite skilled. She made me the best old-fashioned I've had in a long time. Believe me, I've had my share of bad ones. It went well with the pizza. Great vibe in this very chill atmosphere.“

“This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding safe places to eat. I had the gluten free chicken tender platter and chocolate chip cookies, which were both unbelievable. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and explained that everything was prepared separately using a dedicated fryer. My gluten consuming family also loved their food. My husband said it was the best pastrami he’s ever had and my son had an “extra cheesy” grilled cheese. The owner visited our table and introduced himself. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“We stopped in on a whim before heading to Prudential Center, had the most beautiful and tasty drinks and delicious dinner, we split Salmon Sliders, Lobster tacos an order of maple buffalo wings, and the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had! The staff and service was amazing, everything had perfect timing and the atmosphere was everything we were looking for! After the show we even went back for dessert! Ordered more drinks along with their cognac bread pudding and sweet potato cheesecake. I have no idea how they make everything so delicious but this will forever be my spot when going to PruCenter from now on! 10/10, 5 stars all around, HIGHLY recommended!!“

“My children and I were on a stop over in New Jersey recently, making our way back from a holiday in South Africa, when we needed breakfast as we tried to adjust to the time change. Central Restaurant was a little bit of a drive from our airport hotel (about 5 miles), but they were open at 6:00 am and the online menu showed promise. The restaurant is a neighborhood greasy spoon, with all the cast of characters you would expect of such a place. The owners are Greek transplants, the clientele is mostly the black neighbors who live nearby, a line up of police officers and construction workers waiting for to-go orders, and travelers like us who may or may not know what they are in for. I saw grits on the menu which told me everything I needed to know about this place. They did not disappoint. First thing - to the restroom. If it’s clean you know the kitchen will be in order also. It was tiny, but clean and smelled good. My son ordered the Denver omelet with grits, I ordered fish and grits, and my daughter ordered the French toast breakfast with a side of grits. The grits were on point - creamy with that pat of butter pooling on the top. The French toast was just the right amount of crunchy (on the edges) and tender with a tiny bit more cinnamon for enhanced flavor. The Denver omelet was well cooked with just a bit of browning on top, but a tender and medium soft interior. The fish was unexpected as it had a coating and it was fried. But, the exterior was crunchy with a flaky tender flesh interior. I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but our orders were all A-plus calibre for a neighborhood greasy spoon. If you like this kind of atmosphere and breakfast food, don’t miss out if you happen to be in town!“

“so i ordered pancakes from here and while the pancakes themselves were quite good, they charged an outrageous amount for strawberries that were soggy and bland. if they used fresh strawberries then it would maybe be a 5/5 but if you like strawberries then perhaps you should go elsewhere. otherwise im sure you’ll have a great time with the pancakes. i also had a peach mango smoothie and that was pretty good.“

“A great place for a quick early morning breakfast.Due to my Marriott Platinum status, I got a $10 off coupon so this was actually a really good deal for breakfast.When I came down early in the morning, they were not busy at all and they took my order right away. The menu is not huge but they do have some good options.The portions are really good size and the food is very flavorful.“
