“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“

The chicken here is so fresh and crunchy not to mention you can ask them for a little bit of lemon pepper seasoning to throw your wings right over the top where you need it I love this place. “I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a Subway, and it’s entirely thanks to Kumar. From the moment I spoke to him, he greeted me with a genuineness and made me feel welcome. I’m a bit particular about how I like my sandwich made, and instead of rushing me or seeming annoyed, Kumar listened patiently to every single request and made sure he got it exactly right. He even offered a couple of suggestions for combinations I hadn’t thought of, and they turned out to be perfect. The sandwich itself was honestly the best one I’ve had.

Everything was fresh, the toppings were laid out evenly instead of all bunched in the middle, and it was toasted exactly the way I asked. You can tell Kumar actually takes pride in his work rather than just going through the motions. It’s a small thing, but the care he puts into each sandwich makes a real difference, and I noticed he was just as attentive with all the other customers in line. What also stood out was how clean and well-organized everything was behind the counter. Kumar kept the station tidy, changed his gloves without being asked, and handled the whole process with a level of attention to detail you don’t always see.

Even when a small line started forming, he never let the quality slip or seemed flustered, he just kept moving efficiently while still giving each person his full attention. That kind of consistency under pressure says a lot about someone’s work ethic. Kumar is the kind of employee any business would be lucky to have. He was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely friendly the entire time, even though the store was busy. All went fine until we pulled up to pick up our coffee at the window. And there, standing just to the side of the pick-up window, is an obviously homeless man. Now, I don't have an issue with the homeless! Hell! I WAS one of them not all that long ago!Don't get me wrong, I have issues with HOMELESSNESS!
