If I could put one star, I would this place had horrible customer service. The food was trash. They don’t even know the recipes for a simple mai tai. Then the bartender tried to argue with me on how the recipe was made. very inconsiderate on how I felt and complained that I was still have to pay for it will never come back

Worst atmosphere I have ever seen in my life. I’ve been working as a bartender and on the food industry for about 7 years and the lack of organization and professionalism in this place is crazy.Food is awesome respect to the chef but outside the kitchen the staff need a serious training.

Don't go here for lunch, if time is important to you. Place is practically empty, and I'm sitting for 45 minutes waiting for 5 tenders and some fries...

I love the food here, we try to come frequently before seeing Devils games at the Prudential Center. However the service is absolutely horrible for the past few months. You wait forever to be seated, you get your food and good luck finding your server to get the check. You’re right outside a busy hockey arena, you know you’re going to be busy on game days, maybe staff accordingly. I genuinely feel bad for the staff here, our waitress was consistently out of breath from running around to tables and the bar. Do better.

We tried this restaurant twice, once before a hockey game and once before a concert. The first time we were told to seat ourselves after waiting for about 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. There were no tables available so we ended up grabbing seats at the bar. The bartenders did okay and the food was good but I couldn't get a glass of water. The second time, the restaurant was half empty and we still waited 20 minutes to get a table. They brought out the french fries first and the entrees came out sporadically afterwards. One person ended up canceling their burger because it just never came out and we had to leave, and even still the wait staff insisted that it was coming out shortly. The food was decent but we won't be coming back.

The bar tender there is too slow and make you wait extra for you're food . I waited almost half hour for my food she ignored me and rather serve drinks . Ontop of it I ordered thru uber eats couldn't cancel because I ordered thru uber eats. So I lost $15 because I had to leave. I hope they have some one better in the future who has a hustle in them and don't ignore the customer.

I wish I could give this place a 0. This place was HORRIFIC. We waited for 10 minutes before we were told to just grab a table that wasn’t cleaned and waited another 20 minutes before anyone came over. We ordered drinks and all of our food at once and received drinks 30 minutes later and only received 1/5 of what we ordered. The food we did receive was cold and lackluster. If you value your time and sanity, do not come here.

3/1/24Since we were going to an event at Prudential Center and hubby had been dying to go here when he worked in Newark. We were able to walk over from our parking lot. Good thing because there was only street parking...Should have checked the website. This was more bar than restaurant... We were seated on high chairs (I hate them because I'm short!). Then we had to give them a credit card to start a tab, wth I'm not in NYC!? Anyways, we were already seated, so I gave them my card. Besides, it was too late to find somewhere else to eat...I tried to order their mocktails, but none of what I wanted was available... so I ended up with a Pina Colada. It was ok, a bit too sweet...As i looked through the menu, I realized it was Korean style chicken. So I began to have hope. LOLKielbasa Bites were goodMy order of Soy Garlic Wings was so good! So crispy outside but juicy inside. I did wish there was more Soy Garlic sauce on the wings. The naked wings were good on their own, but I really wanted the sauce ?Hubby got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. He wasn't looking for a sandwich. He wanted bone in chicken, but there were only wings that I had ordered already. But he did end up really enjoying the sandwich. The young lady was nice but forgetful. Had to ask her multiple times for boxes and check. We were getting very close to the event time and wanted to get going...Even though the chicken was delicious, I don't think we will ever go back...

Worst spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Wasn’t really hot, no spicy, and the bun was hard. Also got to watch the waitress behind the bar get into an altercation with a customer.Music was loud, people were screaming, and it really wasn’t a great experience. Terrible place for $60.

Was looking for a spot near the Prudential Center to accommodate a group of 9 - on a Saturday afternoon after a Devils game and before a Seton Hall game. After striking out at a few nearby places, I was so lucky to walk into Mad for Chicken and see a large table near the door. The staff was top notch and so accommodating as the rest of the group trickled in. We never waited long for fresh drinks and our food order came out hot and quickly. The rest of the bar was pretty busy, and we never felt like a burden or rushed. It worked out perfectly, and I will choose Mad for Chicken for future trips to Newark.
