Great brewery. good beers. Right across the park from the art museum. Gigi is the best. so sweet and knows her product. will come back due to her talents.

Just below my building and a staple of Downtown Newark

This brewery is really good. We stopped in killing time before a long flight and really enjoyed all the brews we tried. I only wish we could have swung back in on our return trip to get more!

I would literally give it 10 stars if we could. Let’s start, because it’s a brewery like most places they don’t serve food but you can bring in whatever you want, which I’m going to be honest I prefer. They are fully dog friendly, family and children friendly, I’ve gone and groups of friends are just hanging out playing cards. We’ve hosted my son‘s second birthday here and they could not have been any more fantastic to us. As we were leaving another group was coming in for a 30th birthday party, so clearly word about this place being a awesome posting spot is getting out. You can rent out the event space if you’re a larger group or if you’re just a small Family just have a table or two. The owner Stephen is fantastic as well as GG. I mean really I have only great things to say, oh yes and of course the beer is awesome too. Quite honestly the fact that this place isn’t packed every day is mind blowing to me, I think people are just sleeping on a fantastic establishment.

Such a cool space. Huge and warehouse-like with board games, foosball, and ping pong tables. A few regular tables and couches, too. It's casual and welcoming, good for groups, couples, or on your own. They don't sell food, but you can bring in your own. What matters most? The beer. I had a flight of the good stuff. If you're into darker beer, I recommend the oak island porter, which has nice chocolate notes and goes down smooth. The lite rail kolsch was another standout, very clean and crisp. They have tons of ipas on the menu, too, so you can't go wrong there. The bottom line is this is such a unique spot for the area, a great gathering place or just a nice place to go solo if you want a casual spot to work, read, or hangout.

Local taproom with a selection of beers brewed on site - order a flight of 4 for $12. Basic decor with ping pong table. Bring your own food

Wonderful atmosphere and even better robust selection of beers. Local love to Newark for sure! The bartender was extra warm and accommodating and the space is really good for meet ups and events. Come through!

Neighborhood Brewery in Newark. Delicious flavors and a variety of options. My new favorite place.

Garage paid parking in the street behind the establishment.Plenty of seating. AC is VERY weak to none and running with limited fans likely to save as the interior is spacious.Only one bar tender attending to the customers which makes it difficult to get quick service but if you're not in any hurry this is fine. I almost felt as if I was disturbing the bartender's conversation with another customer while I was waiting to order my drink. The beer selection is good. They have a flight of 4 drinks for $12 and drafts are generally about $8.Very casual atmosphere and a decent hang out space. There is no food as is in most brewery places in NJ. Not sure if you can bring your own food as I didn't ask but it seems very casual that you probably can so you can drink away.
