Long line out the door when I went for weekday lunch but they move fast. Had the pita w shwarma, tabouli and cuke/tomato. It was very good and filling. Would go back again any time. They're also kosher if you're looking for that in Newark
The food was superb. Falafel balls were nice and green inside. Hummus was creamy and tasted homemade. Eggplant and carrot salads were fresh and tasty. Best fluffy pita bread ever.Vegetarian options: Many salads, falafel and hummus dishes.Dietary restrictions: Glatt kosher under Vaad of Flatbush supervision.

The spot for excellent food on Halsey in Downtown, that happens to be kosher. Marty and his wife couldn't be nicer. The staff do a good job of moving the lines along quickly.Vegetarian options: A great spit for vegetarians. The falafel and salads are all terrific.
