“My family always look forward to visiting Uncle Bill's when we are in the Cape May area. There are several Uncle Bill's around here that I believe are affiliated but this is the one we like best. The food is great and the service is quick and friendly even on the busy times.Parking: They have on site parking and some linked parking lots. We have not had to wait to park but some people park on the street. They only have a couple handicap parking spaces but they are right at the door.“

“As the name says this place in right on the bay! It's pretty beautiful! I could imagine this place is never not busy. They have a sand bar outside and 2 more bars inside. Plenty of dining room and bathrooms. We got there and the place was packed, they said it would be about 20mins wait, and we were taken back in 8mins. Everyone looked like they were happy and having a good time. And the food you ask? It's spot on! Everything we got was very delicious and well worth it! If I could only say one thing about their food it's that they know exactly how to cook a salmon crunchy and juicy, and the taste was immaculate! Stop by of you are ever in the area looking for a perfect time“

“Just bought some catering platters last night from Italian Affair! The chicken parm, and shrimp scampi were delicious, as were the salad, pasta, and homemade bread! There is plenty leftover for lunch today! Service and delivery were excellent, prompt, and friendly. We will definitely order again!! Thank you, I was able to enjoy my company instead of cooking!! “Our first time here tonight and it won't be our last! We were welcomed warmly and immediately felt at home. Our server, Kimmy was an absolute pleasure! It was Wine Down Wednesday with $4.00 glasses of their house wines. I'm so picky but Kimmy told me if I didn't like it, she would get me something else. I liked it! “This place is a locals hot spot. I had the special, Cheese, Bacon and Tomato Omelet with home fries, toast and a cup of coffee for $9.99! Everything was delicious, service was excellent. Family friendly also. I love their classic diner counter seats. Tables available also.“

“We frequently visit Cape May Winery and love it during the quiet of the off-season as well as its bustling vibe in season. I am glad to say the winery is as wonderful as ever. This winery has the best kitchen of wineries in the area with a good array of foods that are prepared to order and often much tastier than one would expect for a non-restaurant venue. The venue itself is very enjoyable with both indoor and outdoor options. We always opt to sit outside unless the winter winds are prevailing. Wine can be purchased by the glass, flight, bottle or carafe. There is often live music on weekends. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, they want you to have an enjoyable experience. We highly recommend you visit this winery. By the way, I personally like Cape May wines, on the whole, over other wineries. Each local winery has its own strength, but Cape May wines are respectable across the board.“

“Went for lunch today when I was in the area to take care of some business. Ordered the French Onion Soup and also the Steamed Mussels w Marinara Starter ! Both were Awesome ! The soup was some of the Very Best that I've Ever Had Anywhere !! The Mussels were Simply Delicious , Nice and Tender and Seasoned to Perfection !!! My Meal was So Very Enjoyable and the Service was Super !!!!“

We ordered the frittata and the everything bagel with egg salad .. both were good. “I have mixed feelings about Key West Café. If I had a different server I think it would’ve been a completely different experience.I came in the off season when things weren’t very chaotic and the restaurant wasn’t excessively busy. I came in solo, which admittedly, is certainly not a server’s dream. My server was slow to come to the table and when she did, she was curt. She took my drink and breakfast order and left. She was slow to bring my coffee and then when my French toast came, it was cold. It took several minutes for a server to come around so I could let them know. When my server was notified she had them make me a fresh plate, which was delicious.After I ate, she checked on me and brought me my bill. She was pleasant enough but it was clear she wanted me out of there. I put cash down and waited almost 10 minutes for another server to give me change while my server talked to some locals on the other side of the room.Overall I saw other customers that were content and servers that were attentive and friendly. The food was good, affordable, and the kitchen fixed their mistake quickly and without any issues. I do recommend coming to Key West Cafe, but I hope that management has a conversation with this server about upping her game.Parking: Lots of street parking and it’s free in the off season“

“We visited this past weekend. We had a reservation for 8:15 indoors but stopped by to see if we could be seated earlier. We were offered seats on the porch. The porch has heaters but you would want a jacket if cold like our night was (55 degrees). A fun feeling to dine and drink on an otherwise quieter, neighborhood like street and watch passersby's. Cocktails- Red Sea margarita, Japanese businessman Starter- chicken fajita deviled eggs- unique and quick, just light enough to hold us over. Entrees- NY strip steak and special (Dover sole over spinach) were cooked perfectly. Service was quick and attentive. Wish we had saved enough room for dessert. Will be back.“

I got the Linda Christine with vegan chicken and vegan cheese. It was hot fresh and flavorful. Absolutely delicious. My partner got the shrimp and grits and said the shrimp were cooked perfectly and it was fabulous. Highly recommend“

“CAPE MAY: Historic Cold Spring Village is an outdoor living history museum which is open seasonally and is pet friendly, but happened to be closed when we visited in late September. The village reopens on June 15, 2024. Luckily on the property, and opened year-round, is Cold Spring Brewery, one of the most unique breweries we have ever been to! Located inside a restored beautiful barn is a tasting room full of so much character, great beer, and a friendly atmosphere. It is NJ's only non-profit brewery that helps support the village to preserve history. The awesome beertender, Bill, made some great tasting suggestions and we had a fun time drinking the Hildreth German Wheat, Cold Spring Red, Cape May Farmhouse, and Pumpkin Festival Ale. There are 15 varieties on tap including non-alcoholic options. Most importantly, leashed dogs are allowed inside and there is also a great outdoor space with firepits and peaceful views. “Yozu is a really great Japanese restaurant. Unlike most other restaurants in the area they stay open beyond 8:00 PM and gladly served me at 8:45 PM. Their salmon teriyaki and Long Island Rolls are great. The prices are reasonable and they offer hibachi. I’ll be back here when I come back to Cape May for vacation in the summertime.“

“The power went out while we were there. They came out and apologized and weren't sure how long it would be, but ensured us they still had the full menu, minus the soda machines.They ran around in the dark and in the heat until finally the lights came back on.“

“Been here a few times now and each time the meals have blown me away. Castaway is a very well run place from top to bottom. Each time we've visited here the place has been packed, but it never seems to affect the service. Everything still runs as it should even when the restaurant is full. Their menu is pretty big serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. They have all of your American diner staples so it shouldn't be too tough to find something good. The menu might seem simple but everything is a lot better than you would expect. My favorite dishes so far have been the Prime Rib and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Most recently I've had that Prime Rib and that piece of meat was cooked just the way it was requested, was super tender, and tasted amazing. Your money goes pretty far here too. The menu prices are very reasonable with very good portion sizes, even for a big boy like myself. I don't really have any criticisms of the place and would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.“

This is a favorite dish of mine and I usually reserve ordering it to finer esoteric Bistros and Trattorias I frequent. Yes, I dare say it, BOLDLY that the Chef Olympic Flame not only went "toe to toe" with the finer eateries I am familiar with but actually bettered the lot of 'em!! After this most satisfying experience, I was desperate to meet the Chef behind this most Perfect Pasta dish. The waitstaff directed me to the Chef, who was extremely appreciative when I explained the aforementioned to him. Anyone out there visiting the Jersey Shore and wants to have a truly "Unique" dining experience, I strongly recommend ordering the Shrimp Pasta (or any Pasta Course) "The" Olympic Flame Restaurant.
