“My falafel platter could probably be submitted for entry to MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) as the first thing I noticed was how perfectly plated my meal was with a creative drizzle of tahini across the falafel as a final touch. Nothing I would have expected at this nondescript Mediterranean Hala kitchen restaurant in a small strip mall but which now has me wanting to come back to try their other home made mediterranean dishes.Everything was delicious and made from scratch as the owner provided more details about the preparation of the various sauces and condiments that made up this dish. Interesting was a pickled eggplant which I had never had, it was quite spicy but I like exploring the flavors it added to my falafel plate. The falafels themselves were quite dark brown in color with a contrasting bright green and soft inside, the combination of crunch and fresh soft chickpeas and spices I really enjoyed.The inside of 22 Bites Halal feels new with a huge chalkboard of colorful menu items written in chalk by hand behind the counter - a refreshing change from the expected plastic sign. Seating is new, clean with a mix of several tables and one longer table up front in front of the window.There were a number of really interesting menu items I can't wait to try like the 'Fat 22', 'Fat Buffalo', 'Rocket Platter' and 'Fat Rocket' which is a fried Tilapia sandwich with fries, lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce - yum!!!There is also a family platter which you can order with chicken or falafel or a mix of both and comes with a salad, fries and some other goodies along with a large soda. It seems to be quite large and would probably feed several people but I didn't enquire as to the exact number of servingsDefinitely worth a stop for a delicious dine-in lunch or dinner, takeout or a take-home family meal.“

“Had wanted to try for a long time. Last night we ordered delivery from Cultivate's website and had great expectations considering the amazing reviews and reputation this place has. I'll tell you, it did not disappoint one bite. Actually exceeded our expectations.We were impressed with the menu. My friend ordered Khao Soi (fresh noodles in golden coconut curry topped with crispy wontons, coriander, and green onions) and I was intrigued by the Buffalo Not a Chicken Sandwich, so I ordered that with regular fries. We also ordered the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies.Loved that the crispy wontons were in a separate container so they didn't get soggy in transport. Presentation despite 20 minute travel time was awesome and everything was still hot. And, wow, was it delish. I literally went on the website to check that what I was eating was not chicken because it didn't taste like the normal vegan product. My friend loved her noodle dish. “The food here is fresh and really really delicious. The spicy chicken shish tawook is so tender and has just enough of a kick. The platter comes with 2 sides--I got the salad and the rice--both fantastic. I'm sure the fries (the other option) would have been just as good. The garlic dipping sauce is out of this world with such great flavor. The restaurant was not crowded, so the waiter only had 2 tables, so the service was pretty good. The mint iced tea was also light and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy authentic, fresh, deliciously prepared Lebanese food. A+. “We had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server was very nice and the food delicious. Again everything from the alcoholic beverages and entrees to the desserts. One disappointment was that I ordered the shrimp and grits which was supposed to come with bacon and chorizo, I asked for no chorizo and the dish came without both bacon and chorizo. The server was busy which I understand and wasn’t able to check on us while eating , so I ate most of my meal and alerted him at the end before we all ordered dessert. He apologized and said he would find out what went wrong but never followed up. I would never expect the meal to be free or anything like that, but maybe a simple free dessert or ten percent off the wrong prepared entree would be a nice gesture. Small differences matter especially when our bill was quite high. I’m sure we would return but when you are paying a premium for a good experience, something could have been done. Other than the small issue , a good experience.“

My server even brought me the wrong food one time, and it was soooo good that I hadn't even noticed until halfway through my meal! “I absolutely enjoyed my visit to Soul Bowls today. It was empty, so the service was quick and courteous, and the server exhibited patience explaining the ingredients. I had the Elvis Bowl; I subbed out the peanut butter for almond butter and added cocoa nibs. It was so good that I foresee going again and just ordering the same thing over and over! Plant based, but bursting with flavor and freshness. There's also free customer parking in the back of the building.“

“I went there with my wife this evening and it was a great experience. We had delivery a couple of times, but eating at the restaurant was so much better. We were greeted with a big smile by Demi and she took great care of us. We had the large Meze appetizer and the small Mixed Grill and it was perfect. We had plenty to take home for Super Bowl snacks. We had a nice chat with Demi and she gave us a complimentary dessert of their homemade ice cream. The flavors were baklava and walnut. They were delicious. I highly recommend eating there. “A cute cafe in the heart of Basking Ridge's commercial district. It is simple but charming, and coupled with the town, has a very Gilmore Girls-esque atmosphere. Limited parking right in the front of the cafe. We came on a Wednesday around 11am and it was almost empty, and as we were leaving about an hour later it was nearly full. “I just have to say that this place is one of my favorites to eat out at. If I could have a full meal of their bread I would- It is just probably one of the best breads I've ever had. Also I am a picky eater for example I don't even like pizza, yet I have yet to find something on the Birdge's menu that I don't like. Their kababs are so tasty and filling and their rice is perfectly seasoned and creamy. I recently went with my friend and I got one dish and I was SOOO full from it and I'm still dreaming about it. We didn't even have a reservation, on a somewhat busy Friday night, but they were able to accommodate us for a last-minute table for two. One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! And our server, Bailey, was every bit helpful, patient, sweet, attentive, and she was even kind enough to give us a couple of great recommendations off of their menu.
