We found this out of the way Little Italian pastry shop who's pastries were simply off the wall. We got a few of their many cheesecakes cookies and finally an Italian rum cake that did not disappoint the sponge itself was lightly soaked with the rum real whipped cream was used for frosting and a delicious pastry cream in between the layers. Absolutely delicious! We'll be back!!!
What an amazing experience with this bakery. I was a loyal minos bakery customer until they started making excuses why they couldn't make what seemed to be a simple mocha cake. Well I started calling around and Christine's said they could make it no problem. So I ordered and came to pick it up the next day. OMG it was stunning, it looked beautiful and smelled amazing. I had a piece of their rum cake at a birthday party and ended up ordering one for the holidays. $35 for a small one which I think is worth it because it is a uniquely made cake. Whipped cream instead of frosting. Two kinds of pudding inside. Shaved almonds on the sides with a rum chocolate taste. It is definitely a different type of cake sure to please anyone who tries it.
