“We were searching for delicious Indian cuisine and we found it at Tandoor India Restaurant. The chicken biryani was delicious delicious and large portion filled with plenty of protein. The samosas or large and hot and very tasty. I had the chicken korma delicious and savory. As you know we had to take a doggy bag because we were unable to finish our meal. The atmosphere was very friendly and another couple who was seated next to our table would not stop talking about how delicious the food was.
Thank you for making our Asbury Park experience a memorable one.”

“I went there today for falafel at lunch time. A really nice guy greeted me and made me the best falafel ever! There was no wait and there was parking available. I love this place! I will be back again.”

“We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. The portions are large and VERY affordable, while looking and tasting like high end breakfast. This place makes you feel rich, and will thankfully not give your bank account the bill.”

“What a great place! I had a huge ham and Swiss on rye that I could only eat half of and saved the rest for dinner. I feel lucky to have such a fine deli in my town. I’ve never had a bad meal here.”

So much variety! Sushi, poke bowls, burgers, meat pizzas (pulled beef is the best!), salmon platters, vegetarian options, impossible burgers, etc, etc.
Great service too!
The interior can use an update but, otherwise, a great experience in every respect and for every age!
Last but not least, this restaurant is not overpriced like every other kosher option nearby.

“We order peel every week. The pizza is consistently very good, both their regular pies and speciality pies. We are even more impressed by their other food including pasta dinners, the Caesar Wrap and the Chicken Parm sub (our favorite with great bread and amazing fresh moz). The people are very super friendly and delivery is always fast. 2 years in ocean now and we’ve tried every spot and settled on Peel.”

“Been coming to the brothers for their amazing pizza for close to 30 years now. Hands down THE BEST Sicilian style pie in the area. IMO it can compete with famous big dogs like L&B. Vinnie and Ralph are local legends. You cannot go wrong with this Oakhurst crew.”

“Was almost ready to give up on the playa bowl at this location Because they gave Measly bowls that were half empty and if you ask them for a little more Squeeze of honey or anything, they wantedto charge me after paying $45 for three bowls!! So I stopped coming to this location because there are others around me, but today I was Right in the neighborhood and figured I would try it again, And this time I got a much nicer young lady, And 2
full bowls With an extra squeeze of honey. That’s how to keep a customer!”
