“Being from Keyport, broad street diner is one of the most popular and iconic restaurants in our town. When you step into this diner it feels like a journey back in time, with its retro decor and friendly atmosphere. I was seated on a stool and really felt that retro vibe. Within 5-10 minutes I got my food, the waitress was very nice and attentive even when it was a packed house. My order of two eggs were cooked to perfection. The eggs were accompanied by a generous portion of golden-brown home fries and corned beef hash. Overall, my experience at Broad Street Diner was nothing short of delightful. From the friendly service to the delicious food, every aspect exceeded my expectations. My meal cost me about $22 dollars with tip which isn't bad because of how good and the amount of food I was given.“
“This cute little local favorite was a delight. I got stuck here in Ford, NY due to a break down with my truck so I decided to try the local cafe! I loved it, food was good and fulfilling while I listened to the local chatter from the patrons! The service was awesome and even the cook came by to say "hi"! (Hard to find this in So Cal) If you're in the area and want something that kinda takes you back to a simpler time I think you'll like Colonial Restaurant“
“Where do I even begin? The food here is immaculate. I have tried almost every dish, and every single one was incredible. My favorite is the Chicken Avacado Panini. The service is incredible as well. The waitress is the most sweet lady and even remembers what people's usuals are. She is awesome. I always feel welcomed and the whole place is cozy. This is my go to place for when Im having a bad day or when I want to have a great time with my friends and family. Their quality control is also amazing, each time I come, I get a meal that was prepared amazingly. Well done Al's, I will keep coming back for more and more years.“
“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. “I had an overall wonderful experience at Colonial Diner. The food was better than your average diner and the atmosphere was very notable. I spoke to who I believe to be the manager there about the place and he pointed out the original floors and tiles in the building. The diner had a long bar stretched across the building with multiple TVs playing movies. The staff was very friendly and my order was taken and came very quickly. I showed up about a little over an hour before closing and the restaurant did not have many people in there. The parking lot was large and had many spots. I came on a Thursday night and the staff was very quick everything was done almost immediately after sitting down.“

Vegetarians & kids will have no problems ordering their food. $75 for 2 adult and 1 kid.When it gets busier, getting attention of the server becomes tricky.“

The menu is very overwhelming and took a while to tackle, but that's just one of the pros about this place. The French toast is extremely thick and quite good. My buddy got the veal parmesan, and I couldn't stop staring at it. Unfathomable amount of cheese, looked absolutely amazing. Also a surprisingly large portion. It is hard to imagine anyone could be disappointed by this place. It has a lot of food and it does it all well. I also thought it was funny that they had Frasier on the TV. Prices are cheap and I bought extras, fruit salad & banana cream pancakes topping.Vegetarian options: You can ask for no meat. The only thing that is really vegetarian is the side salad.Parking: On Sunday, the lot is empty. I think there are offices using the same lot. A hotel has a lot in back & might overflow into Dennys.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicapped parking spaces. The restaurant is one floor and another customer used a walker to leave ok.“

My omelet was cooked in about 10 minutes tops. The food was good and filling but not amazing in any way. I’d try this diner again.“
“On a warm evening me and my friends drove to the skylark diner for early diner. We arrived around 6:30 and the restuarant was pretty empty. There was plentiful parking around the diner. The restuarant was very pleasing to the eyes with clocks from timezones all around the world decorating the walls. We were seated as soon we came in with a choice of seating at the regular booths or at the bar. Most of the seating in this indee is booth seating. The menu was both as big as other diners but the selection of food was still great! Most of the items were pretty expensive but they came with a soup or salad. My partner got the lemon chicken dish for 26$ and it was very tasty. I got the grilled flank steak sandwhich for 19$ and it cane with a side of fries in a cute little container. My food was very well seasoned and tasted very good. Our waiter had exceptional service tending to our needs and giving us extra time to look at the menu without being rushed. My overall experience was very good with my only downside being how expensive the food was.“
