“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. If I could give a 10 star I would!“

“Goodfellas restaurant is an awesome experience. The atmosphere is a Goodfellas theme, with a touch of Italian romance. Free valet parking, and although the place was packed you could communicate easily with each other and staff. I haven’t experienced such a classy place like Goodfellas in a long while. We had appetizers of burrata salad and a polenta with meat sauce and everyone had different main dishes all involving perfectly cooked seafood. “This is your local, authentic Italian Deli with zero frills (don’t plan to eat inside, takeout only/cash only) but the best sandwich you will eat in North Jersey! I ordered a number 5 for a party and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone was asking where it was from. I highly recommend #1 for meat lovers, number #8 if you like turkey. Can’t go wrong with any. “In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. “Hi, just wanted to say. How great this place is. I ordered on Satuday. They forgot to add my 2 chicken empanadas to my pick up oder. I called and left a message but they were closed. I called on Monday spoke to Stepanie and she was very apologetic. She suggested i pick them up. Which I did. Long story short. They replaced it with 4 empanadas. Great customer service. Empanadas are delicious. Recommend highly..Many blessings for their business.. Will order again...“

“Translated from the Italian literally “to the tooth," it describes pasta that is cooked to be firm to the bite. Located at the Marketplace of Elmwood Park strip mall off of Market Street, my partner and I made a return trip after two years to Al Dente for an early dinner tonight. Reservations were easily made by calling the establishment at the spur of the moment. Greeted by the staff upon entering, the patrons seemed to be enjoying their dinners and were seated promptly by the window. The menu featured typical Italian cuisine with appetizers, salads, pastas, chicken, fish, and veal dishes, as well as a special menu. We decided on their specials and got their homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli with blackened julienne chicken in Alfredo sauce and homemade fettuccine with chopped shrimp and sweet Italian sausage in a vodka pink sauce with shaved provolone. Our meal came with a side salad. Complimentary warm bread accompanied by butter started our meal. Food was always made with fresh ingredients, just the right amount of spice, and unbelievably delicious. Portions were just right. They offer a dessert, but we had no room to even try to have any. The service was excellent and accommodating, and the whole wait staff worked in tandem with each other. The price is comparable to the area, and BYOB adds to the value of the dinner. We continue to recommend it to anyone who either loves genuine Italian food or actually knows what genuine Italian food is supposed to be.“

The restaurant is a beautiful Victorian style home from the late 1800s. It is decorated perfectly, creating an attracting atmosphere! The place is super popular so you should make reservations in advance. We ended up taking a Sunday 5pm slot and it was still quite busy. Wait staff were extremely attentive and engaging. The shrimp & scallop had nicely seared scallop, with Al dente linguine.Dessert was strawberries with whip cream. Again nice homemade whip cream, but nothing special that I would expect from an expensive restaurant.Atmosphere needs updating - lighting is well placed, but someone saved money and put in harsh white LED lights, which just ruin any romantic feeling. Other aspects are similar.All told, a solid dining experience, good food. Just not super exciting. For that special dinner you won't go wrong, but can do better in Nyack.“

“If fresh authentic homemade pasta is what you crave, this is the place to go. Food is delicious and of high quality. You can taste that everything is authenticly Italian homemade with love and care. It's a limited menu but that is how they can put out such high quality. Prices are not cheap but worth it for the quality and execution. It's a small place with only few tables but we went for lunch and not a problem getting a table. BTW, it's a BYOB“

The focaccia crunch blended with the heavenly fresh mozzzy ooooooooh MAMA!!! When I eat this sandwich, I travel to another dimension, and I'm comfortable in that place, it feels like home. Going on a tour de Bergen County with reviews since I no longer live in the area, and have come to find how incredibly spoiled us Bergen County folks are for the food we have access to. This place is one of them. I’ve never had pizza this good inside or outside of Bergen County. Miss this place a lot, even the lovely owners, and I stop in every trip back to get a slice that I eat straight away—because it’s the only way. Gonna have to plan another trip. Perfecto pizza. Probably can only get better in literal Italy.“

“I recently needed early lunch reservations for a family gathering on a Saturday afternoon. Although the restaurant doesn't open until 4 PM, the owner was kind enough to open early to accommodate my family for a birthday celebration. This was our first time visiting Ciao Bella. It's a very quaint BYOB Italian bistro. The food was phenomenal, the service excellent and the experience delightful. Thank you to the owner for allowing us to come in early. Thank you to Emily our server who attended to our every need. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and highly recommend your excellent food and atmosphere. :-)“
