“Yo. This place is it. The truth. Tonight we decided was gonna be a pizza night but my wife specifically wanted PIZZA - like not a tavern style bar pie or a Patsy's/Angelo's NY margarita type. Old school pizza, pizza. Bob's delivered. Literally. From Tappan to Upper Saddle River they brought some of the best "plain" slices I've had since moving to NJ - and it showed up quick, hot and totally in tact. We fking loved this pizza. There are more than a few great places to get Pizza near us - but I'm absolutely thrilled to add this one to the regular rotation. Tonight I'll drink to Bob's. May they stay in business forever! “Old school Italian with large servings of excellent food. It is in a somewhat sad looking strip mall with not much curb appeal. But don't let that throw you off. The interior is nice and the staff friendly.Be aware the place looks like it's been there forever -- the word is out with locals and regulars so it can get crowded at peak hours.“

“My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

“I was biking past one day and from the exterior I thought it was a dive bar and wasn't until I got home I looked up and saw it was a pizza spot. Went back for lunch that weekend and ordered the pizza and cocktail from the specials menu. Pizza was ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, and hot honey sauce. Cocktail was tequila, st germaine, lime, basil simple syrup. Both were delicious! A week later I came back for dinner on a weeknight. Just grabbed the wrecking ball pizza (pepperoni etc) and a hazy IPA they had on draft. There's a pretty good selection of beers on tap, and looks like when it start to warm up they have some tables outdoors as well. Both times I went my myself so I just sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Love this spot!“

This place is for beautiful, delicious food with personalized service that will leave you with warm memories.We held a party and all the guests were praising food and all 19 members of our party chose different entree. Broad menu , delicious cocktails ( drinks were amazing - we were competing / challenging bar- and were so excited to receive beautiful composition of flavors). Big servings - enough to feed 2 people! They were very accommodating- they offered to open for our party an hour earlier - just for us to have some personal family time - WHO WOULD DO THAT!?! Once we walked in - we were offered to take off and hang our outwear. Warm welcome made us feel especially important! Only thought kept our servers away from us. They were on their toes above our table - and some moments were felt - they are reading my mind.Great for special occasions and beautiful food to have !! “The food was excellent and the Maitre'd was an expert at what he does. My concern was that I am vegan and when I asked the waiter if the risotto had butter, he said no, it would be okay. Well it not only had butter but it also had cheese. I also saw a waiter eating from a plate that had leftover food from a patron.“

“the pizza was so stringy, and warm, it was definitely hand made and never frozen, the music playing really brings up the mood and was easy to order, a single slice is only 3 bucks (minus tax) and it is very wheelchair friendly, the chairs are not screwed to the floor so you can move chairs for the wheelchair.“

“First of all, it was not only Easter Sunday but my birthday. I didn't want to go to Manhattan; I wanted a good Italian restaurant close by and this was by far the best pick that I could make. We started with Clams Casino and Clams Oreganato. They both were absolutely, fresh, tasty and we loved them both. I had the capellini with crabmeat and shrimp and I was so pleased with the taste of the creamy tomatoe sauce and the sweetness of the crab meat and delicate flavor of the shrimp. This pasta dish was superb. My husband ordered the Seafood Pescatore with linguine. He was enjoying the dish and all the seafood ; mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp were all tender, fresh and delicious. We ordered the creme brulee with blackberries and dragonfruit. What a wonderful burst of texture, creaminess and crunch of glazed sugar browned to perfection. We have found our Italian Cucina that will be our "go to" in Yonkers. Tutti a mangiare a tavola.“

“Wonderful open space with amazingly responsive wait staff and a chef-owner who makes r rounds to see how you liked the meal. We had appetizers of burrata salad and a polenta with meat sauce and everyone had different main dishes all involving perfectly cooked seafood. No room for dessert but if we had the opportunity to eat dessert bo doubt it would have been excellent! Can't wait to return!“

“This is your local, authentic Italian Deli with zero frills (don’t plan to eat inside, takeout only/cash only) but the best sandwich you will eat in North Jersey! I ordered a number 5 for a party and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone was asking where it was from. I highly recommend #1 for meat lovers, number #8 if you like turkey. Can’t go wrong with any. “I found this place awhile ago, a woman in my town makes amazing homemade cheesecakes and recently started selling them here. Checked out the shop on Yelp and the food also looked very delicious and was on a mission to try this place out the next time I was in Hackensack. I would consider this place a gourmet Italian coffee shop. Sounds weird but it is just beyond amazing. They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“

“Excellent quality food, generous portions at reasonable prices! From the outside, this place looks like a plain-looking slice shop, but it is so much more than that. The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“

“I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“

“Cool new spot in town! I was reluctant to try this place out but I decided to give it a try after seeing a nice crowd in there. It turns out there is a new owner, he just kept the name of the place the same. A mistake in my opinion but at least he did one good thing. He hired a great bartender named I know from Barrel and Brew. This guy can make a great drink and he is so personable. He interacts well with guests and designed a great menu of drinks. I enjoyed a couple of delicious margaritas while I was there. They also had a DJ named Bronson playing some great music. I look forward to seeing how this place does because I've always said this spot would make a great bar because of the nice patio outside. It would make a great hangout for the summer. I can't really comment on the food because I only tried an order of wings but they were good. The ambience though gave me reason to believe this place could make it at this spot.“

There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! The sauce was smooth and creamy. The tomatoes really came through. I wish the Calabrian chilis poked through a little more for more of a spice. However, the flavors were still balanced. 9/10.The vibes were immaculate! We got there about 7. A DJ started playing music around 9:30. It turned into a club vibe which was shocking. The music was blaring so it did become hard to hear each other. The music was still good though.They do have HH Monday - Friday which seems like really great deals on drinks/food.I would 100000000% come back here and recommend it to anyone. I hope to try their sister restaurant soon, Hudson Prime Steakhouse, which is the only steakhouse in Irvington apparently!!!For me to live in Westchester all my life and to not have heard of this place before is crazy!
