“Our five star limit is high. And when it comes to meat, we are spoiled from Paris. But the following applies here: it doesn't get any better! We had the porterhouse for two. Plus hash brown and Caesar salad. The steak was medium-rear perfect as ordered. The ingredients are rich and delicious, especially the Cesar salad! The sauce for the steak (pepper) rounded everything off. And even if as a European you are always surprised about the prices, the price-performance ratio was acceptable here. The ambience is very stylish and cozy. Elegant without exaggeration. And the service was very attentive and friendly.So if you like eating steak, you will love it here. Any star less would be inappropriate. So: Clear 5 stars and a recommendation in Philly. ?“

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif,thank you very much.“

“We got the chefs menu and sat at the counter. Service was excellent and food was incredible. The scallops were absolutely delicious. Sitting at the counter to watch the chefs and asking them questions was an awesome experience. Missing one star because the dessert was just not good. I’ve been to a lot of great restaurants that just aren’t dessert places, not sure if this is one of those or if it was just the dessert they had on the menu at the time. Will definitely go back.“

“Surprisingly amazing hospitality as we walked up without a reservation to see if they could accommodate. We got there at 10:30am just before they got crazy busy over the weekend and were sat right away. The vegan shakshuka and the blueberry pancakes were amazing. We came with our 2 hour year old and they had a high chair they were happy to provide. Our stroller was put in the garage next door and quickly provided when it was time to go. Loved this place ❤️“

“It was a really nice vibe and great food“

“I just placed an order for deliver around 11 o’clock for my wife and I (1st time ordering here). The food was AMAZING. We got 2 cheesesteak hoagies and they were very generous with the portions. I was saddened to learn that there have been multiple robberies on their drivers after a certain hour when doing cash deliveries and yet they still accomodated us and delivered our food. This is DEFINITELY place I will be ordering from and supporting in the future. Very accommodating, very nice, and all around great service! I normally do not leave reviews, but this place truly deserves it. Thank you guys so much for your excellent service and amazing food.“

“We had dinner here for my boyfriend's birthday and the food, service, and ambience was absolutely amazing. We ordered the appetizer of the day, Gnocchi à la parisienne, Noix de Saint Jacques, and the desserts were a cherry on top. All the food was above and beyond. Both of us have been to Paris, but with all honesty, Bistrot La Minette tastes way better. Highly recommend for any special occasions for a taste of France in the city of Philadelphia.“

“Nice date spot. We came on a whim as this was a recommendation from a local distillery. It was our anniversary and we happened to be visiting from LA. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a lovely meal with wine and ice cream.“

We had appetizers then the platter for 2 that fed the 3 of use easily! ALL delish! Brought home deserts that were as enjoyable as our meal. “The best Korean BBQ in the Philadelphia area. They use charcoal for the grill which gives it a good charbroiled smokey flavor. The waiters cook the meat for you. Most other KBBQ places use electric / gas stove, so the charcoal is super cool.Slightly more pricey than the average KBBQ, but it makes sense because the quality, taste, and authenticity is way above average.The service is very good too. We got on the house korean soda drinks to try at the end of our meal from a kind older man.Def try !! It's super delicious.“

“My mum and I have been visiting Philadelphia and we stumbled into Mabu after trying and failing to get lunch at the Italian market food festival. The restaurant was so cute and inviting from the outside and the tasty looking brunch menu drew us in. Despite the busy crowd they were able to squeeze us in and we were sat at the bar table by the window and enjoyed our delicious meal while watching the world go by - the perfect setup! Service was super attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic, tasty and unpretentious but elevated comfort food. We enjoyed it so much we booked to come back the following week for dinner. The vibe at night is so cosy with little tea lights on the tables and lovely outdoor seating to enjoy the warmer summer nights. The dinner menu was great, lovely fresh ingredients and simple but delicious plates, we wish we were here longer so we could try more of the menu! Any meal at Mabu wouldn’t be complete without one of the amazing desserts, lovingly homemade by owner Grace, they are incredible, light and airy and indulgent, the perfect treat to round off your meal. We can’t recommend enough, we will be visiting every time we come to Philly!“
