“Marakesh was an amazing experience. From the delicious kabobs and rice, to the tender lamb. Dinner was finished with Moroccan tea and desserts. The service was impeccable and the belly dancer show just added to the charisma of the restaurant. I could not recommend this place more. Mashallah what a great place!“

“We had a great dinner here before the show at Mayo.Their complimentary pita was soft and warm and served with cute butter candle and hummus full of olive flavor. We had to stop ourselves from filling up before entrees. The octopus appetizer came with really fine mash potatoes and capers. For entrees, we’ve got Paidakia (grilled lamb chop) and grilled Lavraki (sea bass). I was pleasantly surprised by the braided fish, wow! We loved everything here! No wonder their reviews are so good! If we weren’t so full, we would have ordered desserts; they looked so good on the table next to us.The decor was beautiful, mostly white and accent with the Greek blue. The wait staff was friendly. When we left the hostess wasn’t up front, then she ran out to thank us, how sweet!What an excellent dinner experience!“

“It's a small and neat restaurant with a homey feel. I went with my family on my birthday. The chicken kebab, mixed grill and fatoush salad was amazing. The chicken is well spiced and melts in your mouth. The rice also had a unique flavot. The waitress was good as well. We will come back InshaAllah.“

I think most of us got kebab platters; mine were keftas that came perfectly done. We accidentally stayed past their closing time and didn't realize it until we started to leave and noticed the place had emptied out and the staff were quietly gathering in the back, because they didn't rush us out or get impatient (we wouldn't intentionally do this, but appreciated that they had let us enjoy our time together!) It's truly fantastic.I catered a large order for a 35+ person event I hosted, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience of working with Mamac or the quality of the food itself. The service is spectacular , all clean and all the staff very kind always with a big smile and great energy. Definitely Sibora's it's a place to visit in Lincoln Park. “Great small, quant place in town for Mediterranean food. We came for an earlier dinner at 5:30 on a Saturday and we were the only table. There were a number of people coming in to pick up takeout and delivery orders though. We started with the lentil soup and then I had the Chicken Kabob entree and my wife had the Mahi Mahi entry. We both really enjoyed our meals. The portion size was perfect and everything had great flavor. The staff was really friendly. We will definitely be back.“
