Wow, a foodie gem in the heart of mid-America. We had a simple but classy evening. Great host, attentive wait person, excellent food served hot and tasty. It is a joy to experience the variety and inovation that the inclusiveness of America offers. That you Jesus for the mix of culture and food that makes America great!
I've only been there twice. The Bamboo rice special was recommended by John Cox of HGHS and was fabulous both times. I've been looking for most of my adult life for a similar rice dish comparable to Tony's in Southwest Little Rock from 30 years ago, and I do believe the Bamboo Cafe has an equal one. Now, if I could just figure out how to make my grandmother's fried chicken, I'll be all set.
